Trent Robbins had a knife in his back and the police initial report reveals even more evidence. As DaysCafe writes on our Day Ahead page for Sept 29 … “Trent had a bloody lip from a punch and had scraped someone and was also scratched by sharp fingernails, plus his wallet is missing. Steve concludes that more than one person attacked him that fateful night, but only one ended up killing him. Hope is later handed a piece of fiber that was found on Trent’s body. With any luck, it will lead them to his killer.” Who do you think killed Trent Robbins? Who had the motive, means, and murderous streak to actually do it …?

  2. Maybe it was the “lady of the evening” that we saw him pay and ask to come back the next night. Perhaps when he wen to pay her, his wallet was missing, and she got mad and he beat her up; so when he turned his back, she grabbed a knife and let him have it!

  3. ok lets see max punched him thursday,only a girl could have sharp fingernails melanie has his wallet so nicole could have been the one with the fingernails or it could have been melanie,john couldnt have done it he wanted and would have killed him with a gun caroline is innosent from dayscafe.com then it couldnt have been the girls cuz they wouldnt have that much of a rage and courage to do it.i mean nicole and melanie.well melanie or nicole could have gotten into a fight with him probably not killing though.i say max cuz he has blood on his shirt and is acting guilty and trying to cover things up.max beat him up so i say max is acting weary VERY weary.but caroline said she “took care of him”hmmmmmm…either max or caroline,.but she has to be innosent cuz it said on dayscafe she is.that leaves max so drum roll…it has to be max!

  5. I think it was his daughter Melanie. She has his wallet, so somehow she must have gotten it while he was unconcious, or dead. Perhaps Nicole had a fight with him beforehand, causing the fingernail scratches. I do not think it was her, though. Max probably pummeled him some more, like we’ve seen all week, causing all the blood on his shirt, or he possibly was sticking up for his troubled sister when it happened, but I don’t think it was Max. I am thinking Melanie is only on the show short-term, so if she’s guilty, she will go to jail, and that will end her storyline. Caroline definitly didn’t do it. It also could be his bookie he owed the money to.

    Clue 1) Stephanie is the last person we as the audience would have supespeted to do it.

    Clue ) Where was Stephanie during the whole hotel scence with Trent.

    Clue 3) All they other suspects are all way to obvious.

    Clue 4) Her where abouts were not accounted for..

    Clue 5) She is very protective of Max..

    Clue 6) The show said TWO FEMALE characters would be cut. Kristen & Shelly.

  10. Well you have to remember that no one suspected Marlena when she was the killer 5 years ago. So maby its Marlena again but this time she really has gone nuts! lol. But I really do think its going to be one of the last people you would expect, expecially if the killer kills again.

  11. No one from Salem had anything to do with this. It was Claude from France. He hired someone to come to Salem and have him killed for sure.

  12. The Killer isnt Claude because one that would REALLY be lackluster and A BIG LET DOWN. The show hasn’t been BUILDING this storline up for the last two weeks for the killer just to be claude. The OTHER BIG CLUE is that trent was killed with a knife, why in the world would cluade stab trent with a KITCHEN KNIFE AS OPPOSE TO SHOOTING HIM with a gun. The murder weapon is way to amauter to have been done by claude. I mean unless he just carries kitchen knife’s arouond with him on a daily basis ! Come on it wasn’t even a switch blade, but it was a big ole BUTCHER KNIFE…

  14. I think it is either Melanie or Stephanie since we already know that one more actress will be leaving Days. Nicole and Chloe seem to have solid storylines coming up with Brady returning and Nicole’s pregnancy. I doubt Chelsea would be the person to leave the show since Rachel was nominated for an Emmy. If Stephanie did it, it would have been in self defense and not something she planned to do. Although I’d hate to see Shelley leave the show, I kind of like the idea of Stephanie leaving and then Shelley coming back as another character to hook up with Max later on. I think they have awesome chemistry together and I’m sick of people bashing them.

  15. I think folks were annoyed with the Sax France story. Also he should stop calling Stephanie’s grandmother “Ma” for them to be more accepted. If she killed TR, I hope it was self-defense.

  16. I think it was Nicole. I think she has finally lost it. She has been heard to say that he was going to pay for making her lose her money to Victor. She has said that if she had a chance and the means to do so, she would kill him herself…. she was eyeing that knife in the Brady pub…. she has HAD enough of his abuse, and has finally decided to do something about it. And I think that is exactly what happend, she grabbed the knife to threaten him to stay away from her and to find a way to get her the money back, he made to strike her again, and she stabbed him in self defense, but she was scared, so she ran away and is keeping her mouth shut. IT all makes perfect sense…. It’s one more reason why EJ would feel like he needed to be with her, to protect her from the fallout for killing her husband in self defense. It fits very well. Besides, Nicole has been heavily involved in every other storyline happening in Salem ever since she came back, why should this one be any different?

  17. I think Stefeno had it done to pin it on Marlena. Some how it will be made to look like she had something to do with it because of John. He wants revenge and that is something that would really not be expected at all. What do you think?

  18. Mel did it….She has the wallet, motive and she had the look of pure evil when she was pushed too far….beside Days had to figur out a way to exit the show cause she sure aint up to par as far as the rest of the cast is!!

  19. The knife used was a butcher knife.
    The one Nicole “eyed” the other day was not that large, and was serrated..this one wasn’t.

    Everyone suspected is too obvious, but…maybe it was Melanie’s Mom??? I think it will be someone we don’t know yet, that figures into Trent’s “past”.

    Out of the cast, Melanie would be my pick. A nice way to get rid of her…as I think she’s one of the two leaving, since Morgan is the other.

  20. Nicole has tryed murder in the past. I wouldn’t put it past her. I would love for her to be one of the to exit the show. She is not one of my favorites.

  21. I think that Mel, Max, Stephanie, and Nicole are way too obvious choices! Nick had bruises but I don’t think it was him either, I think one of two things..
    I agree that it probably wont be Claude either because he would probably have shot him rather than stab him, But I do think that maybe it might be someone from his past like Mel’s mom.
    The other thing I was thinking is that there have been a lot of people saying that a “Vet” is leaving Days, whether male or female this may be the reason for leaving, and personally I myself do not consider any of the younger cast nor Nicole as a “Vet”.

  22. Because of some of the latest spoilers I have read that read something such as ‘Max and Melanie both suspect each other of their father’s murder’ I do not believe it was Max nor Melanie. I believe it was Max who punched him and we saw the week of 9/22 Melanie had his wallet. We know it wasn’t Caroline because of the knife in Trent’s back nearly gave Caroline a heart attack I do not consider her to have murdered Trent. And, because of Nicole’s dearly departed husband comments she is obviously a suspect but I do not believe she did anything to him besides claw his back up a bit (though I wouldn’t mind seeing her being
    dragged away in handcuffs and being put away for life). I think Trent’s murderer will be someone we never suspected. If his murder is even solved, because we all know how smart the Salem PD is.
    lmao How long did it take them to solve the Paul Hollingsworth case again? Oh yeah, only
    a 9752849759 million years.

  24. I think Stefano had Ralph do it. I remember how Stefano was telling Ralph that he didn’t need John to be his pawn anymore and telling him that he wants someone else to be the new pawn. Well John was loved by all so he will be looking at the opposite someone who was hated by all.

  25. I don’t think it was nicole, they would not have come out with the storyline of her being pregnant and then get rid of her. I also believe it is someone from his past that we don’t know yet.

  26. I think that maybe nick and mel did it. She has his wallet and he has the scar on his hand. Plus in the weeks to come he gets in trouble with the law, so I think that he’ll become disoriented because killing someone is so unlike him. Besides, he likes Melanie a lot and no one would expect him to kill someone.

  33. I think that Nicole done it. I dont like her, she had the means to do so, because of him her life is ruined, she has to pay all that money back to Victor. Hopefully she will be the one to leave the show next.

  34. It was Nicole – she referred to Trent as her dearly departed husband before his death had been revealed to any of the DOOL characters. Plus, she is totally in the way of getting Ejami together.

    I think they will draw this storyline out until Ali is back from maternity leave. I expect Nicole will lose the baby but still pretend to be pregnant. She may even find out about Sammi’s baby and steal him to pass as her own until all her dirty laundry come out. Then they’ll send her to the slammer and Ejami can be together again… bam!

  37. OK I really Hope the Killer is Nichole! I hate that woman and I dont want to see her and ej together! I really think him and sammi belong together and I hope thats where all this is leading them! I know this has nothing to do with the killing.. But I really think EJ is just playing nichole! He loves sammi and sammi loves him and I cant wait to see them together!! what do you all think?

  39. I think Claude had some one to kill Trent because of all Trents debts he owed cause he pimped his own daughter off to pay his debt off but Max interferd and stopped them from hurting his sister so I think Claude had somthing to do with it.
