We say that Thaao Penghlis' exit from the show that overlooked his talent is a good thing for two reasons. First of all, he will get some staggering airtime to showcase his superior talent in the acting world and delight his followers (shout out to the Hoochies!), the second reason being that he has already moved on to greener pastures, so Days will likely have to pay dearly to get him back for any future appearance once they come begging him to help save the tragically dumbed down DiMera lads with his unique Tonyesque savoir faire ... Lucas falling off the wagon. Great drama on the part of Bryan Dattilo. Emmy anyone? The two Kiriakis heirs, one a hothead (Phil), the other a coolly powerful type (Brady) when it comes to Titan. Brady is best when he is not aggressive Nicole's yes man, by the way. It's official. Victor Kiriakis is back in action. But what will he say when Stefano actively pursues Kate ...?! What's OH SO NOT! Everyone seems to be running around town with the same freakin empty coffee cup! Maggie is starting to cross the line, practically becoming a Dan stalker. How about a hobby? And where the heck is Mickey? Loved Ralph Waite (John Walton) showing up as a priest, but there should have been at least a slight reference to the Waltons or their mountain. All thumbs up for Chloe and Billy. First of all, Chloe is a major scene saver, with her drama and fun energy. And Billy as the tormented bad boy totally rocks! Now he just needs to be a bit nicer to Chloe so they can all move forward. Speaking of Billy, his scenes with smiling Jack were great too. Finally Jack has someone he can act like a responsible person with. At least as long as Billy keeps his upcoming mega-drunk Sharon tryst a secret! Phyllis is the calm one, now Sharon is increasingly bizarre. Who woulda thunk! An unexpected, welcome twist. Colleen in charge of Brad's estate will now emerge as a force to be reckoned with. Go Miss Independence go! What's OH SO NOT! Why oh why must Victor talk to his women as if they were Zapato! Two major thumps on the head for Cane, first for discussing how he had been planning to leave Chloe while he is in her hospital room, the second thump for obnoxiously choosing the entire baby’s name before the poor girl has a chance to wake up.
