| Tuesday, February 16, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only SHOT! - At the pub, Sami asks EJ not to blame Rafe. He gives her hope. Elvis quips he is the reason they never got back their daughta. Rafe screwed things up. He cannot believe she brought him into her life, her bed! Sami tells him to shut up. EJ reminds her Syd is not even Rafe's daughta. He goes on to claim he believes they will not ever get her back. Sami places her hands on her hips and announces she will never give up. Elvis insists he is right. Sami gets teary-eyed. Elvis bitterly states he earlier had a happy family, two wonderful children, then everything just went up in smoke. Sami insists Rafe will find Sydney. Elvis exclaims Rafe is the reason he does not have his daughta and to hell with him! Sami quietly says she does not think EJ is quite himself and therefore she forgives him for the harsh words. Tis the grief and fear talking. She understands and reminds him they are in this together. He is not alone. He continues to make comments about Rafe. He growls she is ignoring the fact that he is the reason she cannot hold her daughta in her arms at night. Sami feels their daughter is alive and he would too if he were not busy being so angry and bitter. She storms out. Elvis grimaces. - Sami later meets Rafe at the pub and updates him as he chows down. He is dismayed to hear EJ's claim that Sydney is dead and vows to work hard to find her. - EJ is back at the cabin with Anna and Sydney, raging that Samantha has not suffered enough, she is shacking up with that FBI hack! He will not stand for her being happy with any other man and storms out. Anna now gets a call from Rafe (Sami listening at the receiver). He thinks they need to talk. He has questions about the kidnapping. She agrees to meet him at the police station in 30 minutes as Elvis enters. After the call is over, EJ advises her to stick to the script. She agrees but really wishes to know what he is going to do. She nervously asks if he plans to kill Sami. - At the Kiriakis reception, cheerful Phillip enjoys champagne and asks Brady when he will tie the knot with Arianna! Meanwhile, Mel assures Arianna she is fine and denies she has had second thoughts. They realize Stephanie is gone. Mel goes to find her. Outside, Stephanie has received Nathan's text and meets him. He is anxious to leave for their holiday as soon as possible. Steph smiles. First she has something to tell him. She wants to find true love and thinks she can find it with him, but does he feel the same way? He assures her that he does and wants their trip to be a new beginning. The pair head off together as Nath glances back at the door one last time. Inside, Kate informs Stefano she has changed her mind about Vivian, as she would not want Phillip to trace anything to her. The phoenix states Vivian is now off his radar and heads off to attend to a business matter. Mayor Abe takes Lexie to the Kiriakis rooftop terrace for a brief moment alone and she compliments him on the wonderful job he did. He says he has the most wonderful woman in the world. He loves her more than ever. They exchange I love you's and a kiss. Mel approaches the front door, only to run into Viv, who coos she would not have missed today for the world! They smile and clink champagne glasses. Madame purrs her gift to her is the result of her research on her mother. Mel is all ears. Viv declares they need privacy to further discuss and ushers her up the stairs. Maggie watches dubiously after them as the pair disappear from view. Along comes Victor. She explains she just needed a moment alone. Victor promises to welcome Melanie into his family. Maggie adds she is a special person indeed. Victor returns to his guests. All of a sudden Carly races in. Has she seen Melanie? When she hears from the redhead that she has gone upstairs alone with Viv, Carly is aghast and rushes after them! Still downstairs, Will uncertainly gives pretty Mia a Valentine gift - a necklace. She smiles and accepts. He knows they have been thru stuff. She is glad they are together, says she. She walks over to Lucas, to show him. Lucas gets snarky so Phil pulls him away as Lucas mutters he hates Valentine's Day anyway. Will and Mia decide to take their leave via the back entrance. Lucas glares, displeased with his son's choice of girl. Brady sits with Arianna and talks about how contagious he feels. Perhaps he should get down on one knee right here, right now, he teases. They kiss and giggle. - At the cannery, Bo finds his Fancy Face, gets the crate off her, and caresses her head, gasping she will be okay. Hope remains unconscious. Bo carries her out as sirens are heard approaching. Once she is at the hospital, Bo receives word she is still unconscious but fine. Relieved Bo sits at her bedside and implores Fancy Face to wake up. "Bo," whispers she. Hope now weakly mutters Carly's name, desperate to tell him that Vivian was up to something and Carly could be in danger. The words will not come. She gets agitated so a doc sedates her. Thus, she is unable to tell Bo more! - At the hospital, slightly queasy Chloe updates Dr. Dan on the Kiriakis wedding. His shift is over and he has a surprise in store. A sonogram with a doctor. She is ever so excited. He informs her this might also tell them the sex of their child. She is elated. They get her started with Dr. White in a private room, her beloved Dan at her side. Sadly, the doctor finds no evidence of any baby. She is so sorry ... But Chloe is convinced she is pregnant and insists her clothes are tighter because of it. Daniel too looks at the sonogram and his face falls. He returns to Chloe and tells her there is no fetus. Chloe reminds him of her positive pregnancy tests. Daniel solemnly asks Dr. White to let him talk to her. Exit Dr. White. He now gently informs Chloe there is no baby ... - Stephanie and Nath enter their room at the lodge and he has something in mind. He assures her he and Mel are done. She replies she is not sure about that and glances at her bag, which still contains a very telling letter! Nathan reminds her he and Mel are over. Besides, she is probably on her honeymoon with Phil as they speak. Steph starts to wonder what would have happened if things had turned out differently but he stops her and they kiss. Knock knock! The valet informs Nath he left his lights on so he must step out to turn them off. That gives Stephanie a moment alone. She pulls the letter out of her bag, crumples it up, and shoves it back in. - Madame has lured Melanie up to the Kiriakis rooftop and suggests she come closer to the ledge, to admire the view. Melanie is afraid of heights, however. She asks about her mother. Viv airily admits she knows her and ushers her to the ledge. Here comes Carly, who warns her to step away from Melanie. Vivian raises an iron bar to hit Mel on the head, but Mel does not see that. All she sees is Carly pulling out the gun so she steps in front of Vivian, to prevent anything bad from happening. Too late! Carly has already pulled the trigger. The bride is shot, staggers, and slumps to the ground, blood trickling on her delicate white dress, Carly is shocked by the horror of what she has done and screams "Noooo!" Downstairs, Brady and Phil have been wondering where the bride went. When Phil hears from Maggie that she ventured upstairs with Viv, he becomes worried. The gunshot is heard. Brady and Phillip race upstairs. The other guests wonder what is going on. Victor gets a knowing look on his face when he finds out who was up there. On the rooftop terrace, as Carly cries over her daughter and begs her to talk to her, viper Vivian coldly thanks her for doing her work for her and drops the iron bar over the ledge. Phillip and Brady rush in. Upset Phil demands to know what happened. "I shot her!" cries mama Carly, putting pressure to stop the bleeding. "I shot my own daughter!" Phil yells at her to get away, Carly cries she did not mean to do it as more guests arrive upstairs. Dr. Lexie takes over and asks Abe to notify the hospital. Justin goes off to get a sheet, as requested. Vivian says didn't Carly just say Melanie was her child? "I'm her mother!" exclaims distraught Carly, for all to hear. "Let me hold my child!" Victor, Maggie, Lexie, Phillip, Brady, and Vivian have now heard her words as she continues to sob, Melanie still unconscious in her wedding dress ... Next on Days of Our Lives "If Melanie dies, it's going to go very badly for you," Victor warns Viv. "If she hurt Phillip, she is going to pay!" Kate tells Lucas. Phillip faces Carly. "Is Melanie your daughter?!" |
