PART 1 - At DiMera mansion, EJ is on the phone insisting he knows the law and this is what must happen! He takes off his glasses, hangs up, sighs, and glances at pictures of his children. Enter Chad. The mood is intense. "What do you want?" coolly asks EJ, who is still in lawyer mode. Chad is seeking the truth and wants to know what EJ and Stefano really did to Rafe Hernandez. EJ arrogantly retorts that he has been advised not to say anything by his attorney. Chad retorts anything he told him would be bull anyway. EJ frowns. He sarcastically refers to Chad as Michael Corleone and insists he would not lie to family. Chad is still mad. EJ drawls he does not even care what happens to himself anymore.Chad points out he could go to prison. EJ mutters he has lost the woman he loves as well as his children ... He finally confesses he did indeed arrange for Rafe to be kidnapped and was involved in the imposter taking his place. He did it to keep the real Rafe out of his children's lives. He dares his brother to call the police and tell them. Chad thinks he should not be the one to do that. "Do it!" thunders EJ, holding out the phone. - At the pub, Abigail and Jen discuss the news. Jen is not sure she can make this positive. Abigail wonders what this will mean to Chad. The DiMeras accepted him, whereas the D.A. did not. Jen notes nothing has been proven as of yet. At least Chad was not involved and now he will have to see what the DiMera family really is. Abigail complains that Stefano is relying on him more. She worriedly asks if he would become head of the family if EJ and Stefano went to prison. Jen calls that his worst nightmare - and her daughter’s. However, maybe Chad will be able to keep his distance. Abigail does not consider her mother a good judge of character and brings up Jack. Jen wishes she would stop doing that. Jen now admits she is still confused ... - At the loft, Sami and Rafe are excited that Allie is on her way home. Sami wants Rafe to come to the airport. He thinks she should talk to her first and explain the situation. Sami is stressed and feels it is her fault for telling her to be patient with the other Rafe. Rafe reminds her she did get her away from him and tried her best. He wants her to focus on her daughter's homecoming and not let the dastardly DiMeras win. - At the police station, Hope updates Bo. The gloves are off! Seems the imposter trusts the Bradys no more than the DiMeras. He would rather take his chances in the slammer. Hope calls him a pig and informs Bo he told her to give her daughter a wet kiss from Uncle Rafe. Bo gets mad and starts to make for his cell, but Hope stops him and gets him to calm down. Bo mutters there is still a way to connect him to the DiMeras. They confer with McCarthy about the mugshot the imposter had been staring at. Hope wonders if it was really him. Bo orders the young cop to find that picture! She sits at the computer and starts to go through them. Bo is impatient and has an idea. He will tell Hope in the car. Exit Bo and Hope. - At the hospital, Dr. Dan and Dr. Lexie have just emerged from another successful surgery. Maxine has high praise for the doctors. Lexie and Dan talk. She mentions Rafe and they recall how everyone said he was different. Lexie sighs her father and brother are creative. Dan notes she is one DiMera who uses her superpowers for good. Lexie admits the dark side didn't turn out well for her once upon a time. Dan pours her a coffee and she wishes she could convince Abe to take a leave of absence to get out of town with herself and Theo. Dan drawls it would be like running away. Lexie exclaims she just wants to shield her son from her father's criminal activities. Dan is sorry. She is too and laments this will never be over. Her baby Theo does not know what those two are capable of, as she does. She will look like the bad guy if she wants to take Theo away from his uncle and grandfather. - Bo and Hope show up at the loft. Rafe and Sami are surprised to see them. Bo cuts to the chase. They need help. They update the pair on the mugshots and trying to find the imposter's real identity. Perhaps Sami could think of anything he might have told her that could help. Rafe tells them Allie is coming home today. He is not sure Sami can help. Sami announces she will do whatever it takes to nail the bastards.
