| Tuesday, July 19, 2011 up by 5:15 pm July 18 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES! PART 1 - EJ DiMera is pensive at the family mansion. He flashes back to being beaten, and how people have been shunning him of late. He pauses, then scribbles something on a paper, and sighs. - Tay approaches Brady at the Cheatin heart. She warns him EJ knows it was not Rafe who attacked him at the pier. She fears he will discover it was Brady, but Brady drawls DiMera will probably be in jail before he remembers anything! - At the police station, Bo and Hope are in seventh heaven. Bo orders Lopez to get in touch with the D.A. cos they will be needing a plea deal. Bo and Hope are pleased they will soon get to the DiMeras. Moments later, the D.A. sweeps in and snaps it is unreal that Hope is back on the force. Bo boasts she just helped them crack the case of a lifetime! The imposter's lawyer soon arrives with the conditions his client wants. Bo is appalled he is demanding a stipend in addition to his freedom. - At the mansion, Stefano is most anxious as his cop is no longer on the case. However, he has a plan! EJ listens. - At the hospital, Abe informs Lexie that it seems certain her brother and father will be going to prison for a very long time. She fights back the tears and thanks him for the information. Abe promises to be in touch when he hears more, assures her he loves her, hugs her, and departs. Ring ring! Tis papa Stefano. He has a question. "Do your brother and I have to leave Salem?" Lexie rolls her eyes. She replies she wishes she could answer. The phoenix gets choked up and declares he will always love her despite their differences. He then gets off the phone and turns to EJ. "They're coming to arrrrrrrrest us. We have to get out of town now!" Lawyer EJ wants to know whether she mentioned an indictment. Stefano is sure he is right and calls the pilot to prepare the plane within the hour. Bad news. EJ deduces they cannot go anywhere. Stefano rages the police have grounded his plane, but he is still leaving! EJ sits and refuses to go. Stefano growls he already lost everything. EJ reminds him of Kate and Chad. What about his family? Do they not mean anything to him? Stefano grumbles he will send for them. EJ reminds him hiding never even worked for Eichmann the Nazi! Stefano suspects he just wants to wait for Taylor and suggests if he loves her, he should let her go. - At the loft, Rafe and Sami have just finished telling a disgusted Dario about the imposter fiasco. Sophia shows up at the door, tells Rafe in Spanish she accomplished the mission, and he picks her up in a big hug. Sami raises an eyebrow. Rafe invites her in and tells her she looks incredible. Sami forces a smile. Sophia is glad to see Dario, too. Sami explains she is Rafe's wife, and she is ...? Rafe makes the introductions. Sami asks about their back story. Sophia was his partner in the FBI. Sami is surprised he never mentioned her. Sophia teases him. Sami would like to know what Sophia just did for him. She spent an hour with the imposter, convincing the scum of the earth she was his ticket out of town. She is sorry for Sami having to spend all that time with him. But she thinks he must be singing like a canary right now. The nightmare is almost over. Sami later presses Rafe about why he never mentioned this to her before. He explains it was risky. He and Sophia exchange a few words in Spanish. Dario watches. So does Sami. She tries to partake in the Spanish. Dario must depart, and promises to come for dinner on Sunday night with Sami, Rafe, and all the kids. Exit Dario. Sophia is surprised that Rafe is a father of four. He laughs nervously. Sami gives him a questioning look. Rafe chuckles he was young when he knew Sophia. She teases he was young, reckless, and scoffed at marriage. He assures Sami he was younger then. Sophia smiles he has come a long way. Rafe places an arm around Sami and announces it is all thanks to her. She and the kids mean everything to him. Sophia is glad for him, gives him a kiss, and walks out. Sami is still miffed he failed to tell her anything. - Nicole walks thru the Cheatin Heart, followed by Mayor Abe. He has news for the sisters and Brady. The man who killed the girls' mother will be set free, as he got a deal. It was the only way they could send Stefano and EJ to prison. He is so sorry but it was the only way. Brady stares darkly. Abe wishes it could have been different. Nicole thanks him for the update. Exit Abe. Tay is upset their mother's killer gets to go free. Nicole is too, but she wants EJ to go to jail. Doesn't she? She argues that EJ betrayed them both and put lives at stake before their mother lost hers, due to his machinations. Tay still does not think it is right for the imposter to go free. Nicole suspects she has another angle. She simply does not want to give up the love of her life. The thought of losing EJ is what she does not want. Brady tries to get them to stop bickering, keeps drinking, and drawls this will not make any difference ... - Arnold the imposter meets with Bo and Hope in the commissioner's office. Bo wants the truth, in exchange for time served and amnesty. Some chained prisoners are led past, including the former Larry Wartman of Y&R, real life tough guy/ martial artist David Shark, and he looks mad!. Hope suggests the imposter take the deal. He wants to know what his lawyer thinks. His attorney advises him to accept the original deal and appreciate his good luck. The D.A. observes. Bo wants Arnie taken back to his cell, where he will think about it. Exit Arnie, escorted by a cop.The gang still assume he will play and remain optimistic. - At the mansion, Marco opens the door to a couple of cops, who have been ordered to watch the house and ensure no one leaves. EJ calls off angry Marco and greets them politely. He returns to the living room with Stefano, who snaps he has lost his mind. He snarls that Taylor will not come back to him no matter how good he is, then spies the paper he wrote on. What is this ...?! Read Part 2 - click here! |
