He reminds Kate they have this problem with Madeline. She assures him everything is under control. He doubts it. Kate snaps right back at him. He growls about her calling Madeline and shuts the door. When a boy is about to discover his mother was a call girl, he must know about it, health be damned! Kate promises to tell all regardless next time. Enter Lexie. She senses the tension. - Replay of Maddie falling down the pier stairs. Chad races down, crying, assuring his mom she will be okay. An ambulance is heard approaching. Maddie mutters she did this for him. Did what? She lied ... silence. - Wet Nath and wet Steph are in their swimsuits at the lake. They start to dry off. He kisses her and presents her with a pretty little pink box. She happily opens it and admires the bracelet inside. He wanted to celebrate her promotion. Now she is special coordinating administrator. - Mel is sitting at the kitchen table. Enter Phil, who gives her a long kiss and asks what she is doing. Making a list for a surprise baby shower for Chloe. He suddenly says that is a bad idea! Seems too soon ... Mel realizes it is better to wait until the mother is further along. She laments about her bust of a picnic to get Brady and Ari back together. She now excuses herself to go back to the beach and pick up a missing dish. - At said beach, Nath and Steph are starting to roll around when Mel happens along! Oops! Steph wonders if she is stalking them. Mel explains she is there to find something of Maggie's. She goes on to criticize Steph for accusing her of stalking and says they should get a room anyway. Nath intervenes. Mel cannot believe she and Steph were ever friends and takes off. Steph and Nath now talk about something else. Steph needs a new roommate. Nath has an idea. "Would you consider me?" Lucas is selling the house so he needs a place to stay. He pours them each a glass of red wine, adding the only person he'd love to live with is her. Steph excitedly agrees and they embrace. - Dan and Chloe sit together, going over baby names. She flashes back to her tryst with Phil. Dan assumes she is worried about the health of their baby, hence her distracted demeanor. The baby will be fine, he promises. He looks forward to telling people. Chloe can't imagine how Victor will react that she is having a baby with his son. "Godson," Dan corrects her. Chloe catches herself. "That's what I meant!" Dan complains he has tried to be decent to Victor, but given his treatment of his beloved, he has lost respect for the man. Dan must now head to the Brady pub to pick up their order. He glances back. "I love you, baby." She loves him too. As soon as he is gone, Chloe is aghast she accidentally said Victor's SON and hopes the baby is not Phil's. Phil later drops by to see her. When she updates him on Vivian being the one who set her up, he is enraged. They would not have cheated if not for her and he wants revenge! Chloe implore shim not to tip her off. He agrees. When is the paternity test? Chloe replies Carly is setting it up. Now they must only wait. He notices Chloe is hiding something. She admits Father Matt knows of her affair, too. Phil is dismayed. What if the priest says something? Chloe is relieved he is presently away. Phil must soon leave, to avoid seeing Daniel, and Chloe thanks him for being so understanding. He too is glad they are friends ... - Phil gets home to Mel, who kisses him passionately, still rather upset over seeing Steph and Nath together. When they are in bed, she brings up what a wonderful father he will be to the baby they make together one day. Phil looks preoccupied. Mel hastily explains she gets that they are not ready to have kids and agrees it should just be the two of them for a while. "Right," sighs Phil. He looks to the heavens. "That's all I want." - At the pub, Father Matt is sitting at a table. Daniel joins him, pleased he is there. He is just the person he wanted to see! He asks him to perform the wedding ceremony, if they are able to solve the annulment problem. The priest now drops a bomb. "Daniel, there's no problem with Chloe's annulment!" Dan does not understand. Father Matt can say only that he should speak to Chloe about the matter. Exit Father Matt. - Dan returns home to Chloe, who is setting the table. He just saw Father Matt, who said the annulment is not an issue. So why will he not marry them? Chloe claims she and the priest no longer see eye to eye on things, so she would rather not involve him anymore. Dan wants to know what is really going on! What were the issues that made her cancel the church wedding idea? Chloe exclaims she simply changed her mind and wants a civil ceremony. Dan does not believe her. - Roman comes by to see Bo, who updates his big bro on what Carly and Adrienne told him about Hope. Something very strange is going on with her. Roman thinks he needs to back off. Bo sighs. Roman departs to get back to the station. Bo, however, refuses to turn his back on Hope and takes off. - In the seedy poker room, Baker gulps. "You're gonna kill Bo?" Red lipstick Hope smiles a strange smile and declares that tonight is the night! Dick will not let her do it. She states he has no say in the matter. Tis in the stars. "Time for Bo to die!" she purrs. Dick is very concerned about her. "Whenever I'm with you I ..." She smirks he is falling in love with her. He gets uncomfortable, then finally admits he is indeed falling in love with her. And if that means anything at all to her, will she please not proceed with her plan. The police will catch her and he is worried. If she wants revenge on Bo, he has another plan - one that does not involve murder.They can mug Bo, he will give him an injection to knock him out. After they get his pin, they can clear out his account and blow the pop stand that is Salem. Hope calls Dick a breath of fresh air, given that he does not lie about anything. She pretends she will consider it, but first he should get her the rest of the items on her list. The lovestruck doc departs to do just that. Hope decides she must head out, as she too has work to do, cos she has every intention of bumping off Bo, despite the plea from Dick the dreamer! - Bo visits the house of Kiriakis, asking after Hope. Henderson believes she retired early but goes to check ... Along comes Ciara. Bo is surprised she is up so late but starts to talk about the stories that have her mommy concerned. Ciara exclaims they are not stories! She saw mommy hugging that man. Uncle Justin? No, another man! And maybe he is the one who took her treasures. Bo starts to talk about the other stories and stops when Henderson returns. He wishes her daughter sweet dreams and she scurries off to bed. Henderson bears news. Mrs. Brady, as it turns out, is not in the house! - Meanwhile, red lipstick Hope has just slipped into the house she once shared with Bo. She looks around, lamenting about her abandonment and misery. There is nothing to look forward to but destruction and death! - Madeline is wheeled into the hospital. Lexie orders an OR stat! Chad is left sitting alone, crying. Kate and Stefano see him and stop dead in their tracks. Kate asks what is wrong. His mom fell and hit her head. Enter D.A. Woods. He is livid to hear she fell down the stairs after they fought. What the hell did they fight about? Kate and Stefano give each other a look. Woods demands to know what they were fighting about. Chad will not say. Woods demands an answer and blames him for her fall, as she was chasing after him. Dr. Lexie solemnly interrupts. She suggests they sit down. "I am so sorry to have to tell you this. Mrs. Woods didn't survive her injuries." Chad gasps no. Lexie sadly says she is indeed gone. - Having finished her business at the old house, Hope purrs all she needs now is to get those things, to create a little hell on earth. She removes her gloves and elegantly opens the door to leave. There stands Bo, who is equally surprised to see her ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "I just need to know what is going on with you!" Dan thunders at Chloe. "We need to have a serious talk," Nath says to Steph. Bo gives Hope a dubious look. "Where's Hope and what have you done with her?" |
