| Thursday, July 21, 2011 up by 5:19 pm July 20 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE BIG CHILL! PART 1 - Carly sadly leaves the club as Dan and Jen passionately kiss, oblivious to her presence. She rushes out in tears. Viv sees from around the corner. Inside their private room, Jen gasps this was not what she expected. Dan gasps he did not expect it either, but he is glad they are both here tonight. Jen gets upset. He wonders what is the matter. This felt so right so how can she think it is wrong! Was it something he did or said? Jen does not wish to discuss. Dan exclaims he deserves an explanation. Jen starts to talk about Carly, then stops. Dan wonders what Carly has to do with them. Jen pretends she just was referring to the fact that Carly suggested she take things slowly. Dan drawls she told him the opposite. Jen asks him not to talk to Carly. She now blurts out that Carly cares about him and wishes he cared about her! Dan is flabbergasted. - Chloe comes to the Cheatin Heart with news for pool playing Justin and Adrienne. She auditioned at the club in Brookville and got the gig! They congratulate her. Justin asks if that is where she got the security deposit for her new apartment. Chloe nervously says yes. Quinn sits alone by the jukebox, observing. Justin is not sure the singing job will be enough. Chloe insists this will help her get more jobs. She will do whatever it takes to get her baby back. Quinn walks out into the alley and gets a call from Viv, who summons him to the pier and tells him to bring his drug pushing employee. - At the pub, Kate and Stefano are at a table, enjoying drinks. He informs her the DiMeras are officially free of the charges concerning Hernandez. Kate thanks God in Italian. The phoenix is elated by her effort. She does not know what she would do without him. Stefano assures her he is here to stay for her and the family. They drink to that! Kate suggests they go to the Bahamas to celebrate. Stefano suggests a cruise. Gabi starts to bang dishes and then yells at Stefano for what he did to her brother. She snaps at Kate she does not even care about her grandkids. Kate quietly tells Stefano she will talk to the girl. The phoenix agrees he will see her at home and exits. Enter Chloe and Kinsey. Chloe thanks her for the hot lead, as she got the job. Kate watches and listens like a black widow ... - At the mansion, EJ stares at a photo of Johnny. He gets a call, says she is not here, then sighs to send him in. Enter Rafe. EJ explains Sami came and left. He is surprised she did not call him with the news. Effective immediately, he has given her full custody of Johnny and Sydney. Rafe glares. "You lying son of a bitch!" EJ stands up and presents him with a copy of the document. Rafe suspects he is up to something and wants to know what it is. He is giving up his kids with no strings attached?! Enter the phoenix. "Elvis, did I hear correctly?" EJ sheepishly admits it is true. He gave Samantha full custody. Stefano stares in shock. - Down at the pier, Quinn and his drug dealer meet up with Madame Viv, who wants to make sure Carly gets some stuff. The pusher calls her the diva of darkness. Quinn gets mad and defends his mother's honor. He asks his man for a moment. His dealer becomes respectful and steps away. Viv is moved that her son cares about her. Quinn has no response. He wishes her luck and instructs his now returned employee to do as she says. Exit Quinn. Viv hastily hides. - Carly sits alone on a bench, crying and berating herself for thinking she had a chance with Dan. She rummages in her purse for drugs. Nothing there. She now flashes back to the drug dealer she met at the pier, who promised to take away her pain. Carly goes back to the pier, where the dealer awaits ... - Back at the pub, Chloe and Kinsey are at a table. Kinsey appreciates that her idol bought her a delicious dessert and praises her to waitress Gabi. Chloe is happy she will score some points with her case worker thanks to the singing job Kinsey helped her land. Kinsey suggests she invite the case worker to her performance. Chloe likes the idea. Kate stands up walks out. She places a call on her phone, seeking the number of a club in Brookville ... - At the mansion, Stefano rages at EJ for handing his grandchildren to the enemy. Samantha wanted them to rot in jail and that bastard was right next to her! Rafe drawls it is nice to see him too. Stefano calls him a loser and declares he will not stand for this!
