| Friday, July 29, 2011 up on July 28 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE BLAME GAME PART 1 - Bo and Hope are shocked to see the photo of Carly strung out on drugs. Hope recalls her own drug problem. Bo points out that was prescribed medication and she was not dependent. Hope wonders if this was just photoshopped by Vivian. Bo does not think so and flashes back to Carly acting strangely. He even asked her what was wrong and she insisted he leave her alone. Bo blames himself for not seeing this coming. Carly is in trouble. Hope declares they must help her! - Jen races into the station to report a missing person to Roman. "Carly Manning," adds Dan, who is close behind her. Roman saunters into Bo's office to update him that Carly has been missing for hours. Outside the office, Dan and Jen uncomfortably wait together. Jen already searched the dumpster by the bar. She hopes there will soon be a lead. Dan states he already went door to door at the inn and no one saw anything. Jen blames herself for not telling him in the first place. - At the pub, Gus remains jealous of Quinn. Viv is surprised to hear that Carly seems to have vanished. She hopes she stays wherever she is! She mentions Quinn's father not letting her near her son, who turned out so well regardless. She suspects he was jealous of Lawrence too. Quinn is a fine son. Gus gets sarcastic. The conversation returns to Carly. Gus reminds her of all her schemes, how she tried to kill Mel, then wanted Chloe to kill Carly. Viv thinks that Quinn's plan, unlike the ones Gus helped with, was far superior. Gus gets miffed, finishes his drink, and storms out ... - At his hotel room, shirtless Quinn studies Carly's ID and drawls so she is the infamous woman Viv wants to destroy! Carly stirs and asks what he wants. He updates her on how he rescued her from the clutches of a drunk who was trying to take advantage of her in the alley near the Salem Inn. Carly's memory is foggy and she is disoriented. He thinks she should stay a little while. He introduces himself as Quinn. She says she is Carly. He offers her tea and dry toast. She refuses and wonders why she smells of beer. He suggests she tell him her story. Sometimes it helps to speak to a total stranger ... - At the Cheatin Heart, Nicole warns Brady that EJ will not let this go. Brady names all the people who covered for him. Now it is his turn to cover for them. Tay listens as Nicole explains he will go after Brady, which means he will want to kill him! Brady reminds her she said that EJ grew a conscience. Nicole thinks in this situation, he will still be old school. That is why he should leave town with her. Taylor calls that the worst idea ever. They cannot run from the DiMeras! Brady steps away to take a call from Dario. Nicole implores her sister to convince EJ not to kill Brady ... - In his hospital room, EJ warns nurse Mel not to insult his intelligence. Sinister music is heard. He informs her he is not guessing, he actually remembers! She might have saved him, but she should stop covering for the man who left her to clean up his mess. He clearly thinks it was Brady Black. Mel retorts he must be bluffing, as he is not even out trying to get revenge. She starts to leave to get him another nurse, but he grabs her arm. He reminds her that they had dealings in the past and she is out of her league. She should not lie for his attacker and clean up his mess, though he realizes she might have saved his life. Nurse Mel quips she is no Florence Nightingale. Besides, he had a head injury. She opens her mouth to scream. EJ shoves his hand on her mouth and pushes her head back on the pillow. Enter Dario. He snaps to let her go and talks tough. EJ releases Mel and smirks, asking who he is. He is the brother of Rafe Hernandez! EJ drawls he has had so much fun with his family. He warns Mel he will not forget. Dario points out there are many who want him dead and exits with her. EJ appears amused. He knows from the look on her face that he was spot on! - Back at the station, Jen updates Bo, Hope, and Roman on how Carly convinced her she had things under control. Dan stands beside her. She is asked about Carly's personal problems and admits she was falling in love with Daniel. Dan explains he told Carly there was no hope for them and that was just before she took more pills. Then the picture went online and she bolted. Roman notes she has not been missing for 24 hours. However, due to the suspicious picture, Bo and Hope will head up the investigation right away! Carly and Dan saved his grandson's eyesight and he owes her ... Bo and Hope take all the details of her situation from Dan and Jen. Hope soon discovers that a regularly arrested druggie and boozer was spotted in the area where she went missing. Could be a hot lead! - Back at the Cheatin Heart, Brady returns to Tay and Nicole's table and smoothly states he will finish what he started. He stops Nicole from going with him and saunters off. The sisters are worried. - Back at Quinn's room, Carly tells him the sad story of Lawrence the abuser. She also has a son Nicholas. Quinn listens intently. Carly explains she stayed with Lawrence for her son, until he was old enough. She cries as she speaks of her sweet boy. Quinn asks where he is now. Carly admits she no longer sees him and it clearly breaks her heart. Quinn appears moved to hear about his relation. Why can she not see him? Carly sighs he no longer has contact with her, as she killed his father in self-defense. She was finally free but lost her son. She blames herself and shuts her eyes ... - Chad drops by to visit EJ in the hospital and asks if he really believes his attack was an attack against the DiMeras. EJ claims it is just a vague feeling and denies remembering more. Perhaps he never will! Stefano has sent Chad over to pump him for information. Chad warns the phoenix will not give up until knows who tried to kill him. Maybe it is best if EJ simply not remember ... - At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady keeps drinking, then opens a drawer, and ominously takes out an important key ... Read Part 2 - click here! |
