| Wednessday, July 6, 2011 up by 5:13 pm et July 5 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! THE GODFATHER PART 1 - Bo updates Rafe and nervous Hope on Nicole and it's not good. They have to let her go. Bo and Hope need to take off and do damage control. Rafe places a call to Sami. She asks if he dropped Johnny off at EJ's. Affirmative. She wishes she could have seen the look on EJ's face when he heard all about it from maid Mary! She then gets nervous when she hears about Nicole's release and agrees to meet Rafe at the park ... - At the station, Nicole tries to wear down Detective McCarthy and threatens a lawsuit. Enter Brady. She wants him to get her out. He jokes why would he do that! He now wants to know why she is being held. McCarthy knows not. Enter Mayor Abe. He frowns upon hearing she was held without charge by Bo. She claims he just wanted to prevent her from telling anyone what she knows. She thinks Abe is in on it, too. Abe has no idea what she means and must step away to take a call. Brady would like to hear what she knows. "It's big, Brady, and it's about EJ," she whispers. He asks what EJ did now. Enter Bo, Hope, and Abe. Abe complains he just got a call from Internal Affairs.The D.A. is not able to proceed. The commissioner must either charge her with something or let her go! Bo requests 5 minutes alone with the detainee. Abe orders him to keep the door open. Brady follows Hope out and demands to know what happened with EJ. She will not say, in case he wants to finish the job he started! He must not admit to attacking EJ, however, as they are trying to buy time to bring down the DiMeras. Meanwhile, Bo warns Nicole that if she tells her sister what she knows, she will forewarn EJ. EJ will only pay if she remains silent a little longer. Nicole points out he could have asked instead of treating her so badly. Bo threatens it will be even worse for her if she goes against him! Moments later, Nicole and Brady leave the station together. She does not appear to wish to say anything to anyone just yet ... - At the park, replay of Stefano insisting they eliminate Rafael as Taylor approaches. Stefano warns her against spying. EJ hopes she does not take what fatha said out of context but she knows what she heard and it was about killing Rafe! The phoenix drawls he never said that. Tay wants Rafe brought to justice but would rather they not take the law into their own hands. EJ updates her on why Stefano is upset. Rafe picked up Johnny from school. Stefano repeats he must be eliminated. EJ promises Tay they will not do anything illegal, as per his agreement with her. Tay departs after sarcastically thanking Stefano for making her so welcome, from the bottom of her little insipid bookkeeper heart! Exit Tay. Stefano snaps she will make his son miserable. EJ insists his promise to be legit was genuine to her. No breaking the law. Pause. However, he can put said promise into effect after the fact! - Stefano and EJ return to the mansion. Johnny is excited he saw Rafe, but EJ informs him he has done bad things and he no longer wants him to see him. Johnny insists he is nice, as he said daddy and grandpa should be careful on the stairs. EJ hugs his son tight. - At the pub, Gabi is doing a shift with Will, who is working there for the summer. He teases a lot of people like her. She mentions him seeming to like her. Will senses her insecurity. He pours himself a glass of milk and recalls how she said he was pulling away from her. Gabi explains she was just feeling needy and therefore pushing too hard. He sighs she is not pushing him. She agrees they should take things slow. They kiss briefly. He hopes she will not mind working with him all summer. She teases her beauty is devastating. Will agrees she is the prettiest girl he has ever seen. Gabi blushes. - Back at the warehouse, Rafe has pizza for the imposter, who taunts him for having nothing. He points out the DiMeras screw around with people's lives and get away with it. He almost feels sorry for him! Rafe insists he will not let them get away with it. The imposter makes an ominous comment about it only being possible to defeat the DiMeras if one sacrifices oneself ... - Back at the mansion, EJ is enraged that their imposter made a veiled threat to Johnny. Stefano advises him to call the school. He does, as Stefano departs to take care of something in person ... - Stefano arrives at Sami's place and announces they must talk about Rafael ... - Nicole is with Brady. She is drinking up a storm at the Cheatin Heart. He decides to go home. She wishes he would not abandon her. He explains he is not the guy who will cheer her up anymore. Nicole insists she never chose EJ over him, she chose Sydney. Brady advises her to take a romantic timeout. Just be Nicole. She laments she needs to make better decisions concerning her gentlemen friends. Brady kisses her on the cheek and tells her not to let EJ win. She is worth so much more than him. Exit Brady. Nicole sadly asks for her drink. Outside, Brady runs into Tay and tells her she should not enter, as her sister is having a bad day. Tay replies she and EJ never meant to hurt her. Brady now notices her engagement ring and bitterly states she can go look at Nicole if she wants to see how miserable he will make her. That will be her future! Tay watches through the window as Nicole sits alone drinking a martini ... - Rafe is wearing a cap and shades at the park, anxiously wondering where Sami is ... - At the loft, Stefano solemnly tells Sami that Rafael picked up Giovanni from school. She retorts she had no idea and claims she would have told her Uncle Bo. Stefano give her a dark look and demands to know where Rafael is ...! Read Part 2 - click here! |
