Anna was neutralized and EJ was the mastermind! She cannot believe she did not see it all this time. EJ is pure evil and he must pay! She calls him on her phone and exclaims he is a sadistic son of a ... He is bored, more interested in the papers on his desk. She declares she is putting him on notice. EJ hangs up on her. Nicole calls him back and threatens his whole life could go up in smoke if he does not hear her out. EJ is amused. Nicole wants a meeting but not at the DiMera mansion. He eventually agrees to a meetup at the pier in 20 minutes ... - Dan drops by the house of Kiriakis carrying a box. Victor opens the door, wonders why he is grinning. Dan is later inside, telling his godfather he was there to find something. Vic advises him not to give Chloe any of his mother's jewelry. Dan cuts him short and wants him to listen. He acknowledges he helped him get through losing Rebecca, but now he is finally about to make a life for himself with Chloe. He needs him to support them. She is extremely important to him and they will have an amazing life together. "From your mouth to God's ear," sighs the Greek tycoon. Dan picks up his box and saunters out. - Carly calls Chloe and asks how she is feeling. Chloe snaps she should leave her and Daniel alone. No more games! Is she going to tell Daniel her baby might not be his? Carly would rather discuss in person. Chloe agrees, as Daniel is gone for the day. Carly sympathetically states she knows how difficult this is. When she gets off the phone, Kate appears on the pier and is curious what could possibly be difficult for Chloe now! Carly will say only that Vivian is now a Chloe hater and she is a sick, vindictive person. Bejeweled Kate claims she has no sympathy for Chloe, after what she put her son through. In her opinion, that Chloe does not deserve to be defended by Carly. Carly points out Daniel cares about her. Kate thinks Dan is a fool. Chloe is dangerous. She implores Carly not to involve herself in Chloe's craziness cos she will end up paying! Carly tells Kate to take care and walks away. - Dan gets home with the box, containing something from his parents' estate. He opens the box to reveal a christening gown. Everyone in his family was christened in it. It is for their baby. Chloe is moved. She cannot wait for their baby to arrive, though she fears it will not happen. She gets teary-eyed and asks him to tell her everything will be okay no matter what. He understands her fears but wants her to stop thinking anything will be jinxed. The baby will be fine. Perhaps the christening gown was too soon. Chloe embraces him, insisting it means a great deal to her. "I love you so much." He looks at her tenderly. "I love you, too. More than you know." They kiss on it. She wishes he could stay, though he must get to the hospital. Dr. Dan opens the door to ... Carly, who is there to see Chloe. Dan assumes she is there to be a friend, thanks her, whispers they will talk later, and departs. Once he is gone, Chloe laments she is really there to destroy her. Carly does not want to destroy her. She is in no position to throw stones, yet she has been carrying around this secret about someone she cares about. She has also recently learned that Vivian made Chloe believe she and Dan were cheating. Chloe blames Viv for everything. Carly points out Chloe too is to blame, and she does have a history of cheating. She spies the christening gown and picks it up. "It's clear. Everything is clear now." - Mel has made Phil go to the hospital to pick something up on their way to the beach. Once alone, he wonders why Chloe has not called him back. He is tense. Along comes Steph. She notices. And Adrienne has noticed, too, says she. Phil snaps why does she care. Steph insists she knows he is hiding something. Phil warns her to stay out of it, for her own sake too! Steph wants to know what he means, saying something that sounds like a threat. Mel walks up. Steph excuses herself and Mel notices the hostility. Phil pretends that Steph is jealous of their relationship and gives his young bride a kiss. - At the pub, Nath and Caroline go over her papers. She is busily applying to help at the hospital and makes a catty comment about picking up the slack when Maggie enters. Maggie admits she has been distracted. Nath says she has been doing a great job. Caroline pleasantly states she has the time to lend a hand. Exit Nath when the redhead asks for a moment alone. She notices Caroline has been hostile and wants to know why on earth she is angry. Caroline exclaims she did not stay away from Victor, as she suggested, and demands to know what is going on! Mggie states they are friends, but Caroline knows the pub got a call from him, requesting a private booth. Maggie retorts they will be meeting to discuss a scholarship in Mickey's name. However, f it was a rendezvous, it would not concern her. Caroline disagrees. Maggie points out he is married to Viv. Caroline points out that marriage is a sham. Maggie is still baffled why she is mad at her. Enter Victor, drawling he is in fact the person she is angry with. Maggie realizes the two have issues to work out, tells a disappointed Vic they will meet another time, and walks out. Victor snaps at Caroline to stay out of his affairs. She thinks he has victims! She cannot believe he married the wicked witch and then wanted to cheat on her with Maggie! Women are either wh*res or saints to him, like Isabella and ... "You," says he. Caroline quips their conversation is over. Vic grumbles to stay out of his business and storms off. - Down at the beach, Nath and Steph sit and enjoy champagne with orange juice. They chat and kiss. Giggling is heard. Tis none other than Phil and Mel. Everyone has the day off. Nath suggests they join them. No thanks. Steph does not appear pleased to hear they will be staying at the beach at all! Phil makes a remark that they will go elsewhere and walks off with Mel. Steph sighs. Nath wonders what the big deal is. Steph thinks Phillip has been arrogant lately. He suggests she not let him get to her. She smiles and starts to compliment Nath. They kiss again. - Down at the pier, EJ arrives later than promised to see Nicole. "What's so urgent?" he drawls. She announces she has been up all night, trying to decide what to do with her BIG BOMB concerning the DiMeras. She is scared but what the hell, she is gonna do it. He sarcastically dares her. She tells him to shut up. He wonders what has gotten into her. Nicole declares she holds all the cards. He laughs doubtfully. She glares daggers at him. He should not have pushed her. He insists there is a connection between her and Arianna and the muggings. He recounts her crimes and calls her a dangerous sociopath. Nicole leers he has far outdone her as a dangerous, cruel, sick sociopath. And she knows he had her followed, just like before. Her past mistakes were made out of love. He, however, bitterly recalls how she stole a baby so she could rip him off. There was no love involved. Nicole cries she hates him more than he hates her. He leers he does not care. She proceeds to scream at him "You have lost EVERYTHING!" EJ still doesn't get it and responds with a sarcastic grin. He concludes she makes no sense. Nicole now enlightens him, She took matters into her own hands and broke into the mansion last night, to find the so-called evidence he had against her. And she overheard him talking to Stefano about Sydney. EJ's face falls. Nicole smirks. - At the hospital, Kate has just gotten a checkup and runs into Dan. She thanks him for having helped her health in the past. He still does not forgive her for the poisoning of his beloved, yet does not wish Kate ill. Kate warns him he does not see Chloe for what she really is. Daniel mentions Kate's crimes against Chloe and calls her crazy. Kate informs him that Vivian is going after her. Dan is surprised. How does she know? Kate airily says Carly told her and flounces off ... - Meanwhile, Carly tells Chloe her terms. A paternity test. And she will only keep her silence if this child is Daniel's ... - Phil and Mel head home. They decide to go to the gym and then have a big lunch. She walks off to get a bottle of water. Phil looks for his card, which he thinks he left in her bag, only to come across Mel's pink BIG SISTER tee. He stares at it. Enter Mel, who feels she must explain that Chloe is pregnant. "Wow," gasps Phil, as he tries to digest the news as calmly as possible. - Back at the pier, Nicole informs EJ that it is over. "Anna stole Sydney because you paid her to!" EJ stares at her, his eyes filled with dread ... Next on Days of Our Lives Mel faces Phil. "Why do you look so worried?" "I'm not going to let him think this baby is his if it's not!" Carly cries to Chloe. Nicole stares down EJ. "Now you will pay!" |
