Viv laments Victor is busy with a friend, but at least the reception was not a total loss! Chloe Lane believes Carly is trying to ruin her life with Daniel and the timing could be purrfect for their purposes ... - Chloe is in Dan's apartment, flashing back to Viv's offer. She decides Carly has left her no choice and makes a call. She telephones Viv, who coos she has been waiting to hear from her. Chloe is ready to take action and wonders if Viv will help her. Chloe later meets Viv at the Kiriakis mansion. They drink red wine and discuss the scheme. Vivian repeats to the confused Chloe that Carly has her sights set on Daniel. She must save him from that wretched woman, with Madame Vivian's guidance! And she knows what it is like to be hurt by Carly Manning. Chloe flashes back to Carly's ultimatum and blinks. She has no choice. Viv says to leave the details to her and Carly will not win this time. She mentions Carly's total claustrophobia, the way she practically dissolved when they were trapped in an elevator. Chloe asks if all she has to do is get Carly into an elevator. Madame purrs it is a start. She advises Chloe to keep her mobile with her and gives her the number of a contact to enter in her phone - someone who will make Carly get what is coming to her! Who is he, asks Chloe. Probably just an alias name anyway, airily replies Madame Viv. But he will do the work. Viv is to be a silent partner. All Chloe has to do is get her arch enemy into an elevator ... Then what, impatiently says Chloe. She wants answers, then suddenly realizes the man is not just going to stall the elevator. Viv admits he is going to do what needs to be done! A permanent solution, n'est-ce pas? The man will make the express elevator an elevator straight to hell. Chloe is aghast. Viv reminds her then she will be free of Carly forever ... - Dan saunters into the pub, all smiles, and joins Phil and Mel with the news that he and his beloved Chloe will tie the knot tomorrow. "NO!" exclaims Mel. Dan would like an explanation. A frown creases Phil's brow. Mel stammers it is too rushed. Dan drawls his woman needs a commitment and she is all for it. Phil states he is, too. Mel gives him a look. It is too sudden. And why is Phil all for it? Phil calls it a new beginning for Chloe. Melanie does not agree. Problems do not just go away with a wedding. Phil must step away to take a business call from Taiwan. Intense Daniel now wonders why Mel is really against him making Chloe his wife. Mel claims tomorrow is too early, not enough notice. Dan points out Chloe even wanted to marry him tonight, she is so excited. Mel thinks Chloe sounds desperate. Did she do something? Dan assures her he has never been happier. He has a new daughter and tomorrow he will have a new wife whom he adores. Mel hopes Chloe does not hurt him. Dan drawls she will not. Phil rejoins them, after he mutters to himself that Chloe cannot blow this. Dan tells the pair he will have the deets soon, Brady will be his best man. He asks Phil to walk Chloe down the aisle. Phil agrees and congratulates him again as the doc departs. Morose Mel acknowledges Dan could be right about the timing, due to Chloe's insecurity, yet she cannot shake the feeling that she will break his heart. Phil reminds her Dan is everything to Chloe. "For now," glumly says Mel. Phil thinks they should just wish them luck. Mel agrees, but first she wants him to look her in the eye and swear he thinks Chloe is right for her dad ... - Brady exits the pub with clothes for Arianna and runs into Caroline. She notes he looks fatigued. He mentions grandfather's unexpected wedding. Caroline gasps, then asks who he married. When she hears it was to the evil Vivian Alamain, she lets out a yell. "What! My God!" - Ari is on the prison phone, crying to her mother she is innocent and her attorney will be able to prove it! She soon has a visitor at her cell - Brady - and updates him that EJ has a lead that could exonerate her. Brady is disappointed she does not tell him more. The guard steps up and tells him visiting hours are over, he simply let him in to leave the clothes. - At the Cheatin Heart, EJ wants Nicole to explain why she has done this to Arianna. She almost chokes on her drink and plays innocent. Elvis is not amused. She is letting Arianna rot in jail for something she simply did not do. Nicole points out she defended her on the air. EJ casually states she has an alibi for the night Justin was attacked. He goes on to say that Nicole is her alibi. Nicole forces a smile and keeps drinking. EJ keeps staring her down. He explains Ari was giving Nicole a check from Brady at the time. All Nicole must do is cooperate she received said check. She replies she will help as she can. EJ dangerously adds he will find out who set up his client. "I think that person's you, Nicky and I think you are going back to prison!" He accuses Nicole of also being the attacker, to get revenge on men like himself and Brady. Nicole reminds him she has alibis and furthermore if she was with Arianna, then Ari is also her alibi for when Justin was attacked! She will get back to him with the dates and walks out. In the alley, she laments she cannot let EJ ruin this for her! - EJ heads to Ari's cell and informs her the date of the check must be verified, but she could have an alibi. Ari is elated and jumps into his arms. She later becomes anxious again and hopes Nicole will not lie. EJ admits Nicole always does have an agenda. He suspects she was involved and they must simply wait to see how involved she is before they decide how to proceed ... - Meanwhile. Nicole nervously wonders if the date of that check she got will match the date of Justin's attack. She is equally nervous that Baker would sing like a bird if caught. She decides the best defense is an offense. Ring ring! The roving reporter is asked to do an interview with the D.A. but is not interested to hear the creep is en route to the pub. She ends the call and looks like she has an idea. When Brady comes along, she stops him and boasts she may have found a way to exonerate Arianna ... - Replay of red lipstick Hope on the phone with Dick. She summons him to Pier 15 in five. He is unsure what she is up to. She orders him to meet her and then he will find out! When he meets her at the pier, she points a gun at him. He is sorry about the Arianna Hernendez set up. Hope waves her gun and talks betrayal. He states if they attack another guy, the cops will know Ari is not the attacker. Hope refers to the framing of Ari as a red herring. The time has come to go after her real target. All Dick has to do is follow her and all will be revealed ... - Chez Bo, replay of Ciara snapping at Carly she cannot see the secrets in her bag. "Stay away from me!" she adds when Carly sits beside her. Bo sees and takes over. Ciara complains Carly wished to see her secret treasures. Bo assures her Carly is his friend so he hopes one day she will be her pal too. She agrees. He pats her cheek and asks if she would like to tell him what those treasures are. Ciara considers. OK, but only daddy can see them. He opens the first pocket in her knapsack, which is empty. When he is ready to open the other one, where the wallets are all hidden, there is an angry knock at the door. Tis mama Caroline, who exclaims how could Bo let Victor marry that woman! They soon sit alone and Caroline berates Bo for letting his bio-dad do something so idiotic. And why did he marry her! Bo states he must have had a good reason and they must accept it. Caroline could just break Victor's neck! She notes Bo is not upset and demands to know what he is hiding. Ciara returns to show Caroline a picture and asks if they can go bake cookies. Caroline must now join her in the kitchen. Bo stands up. Meanwhile, Hope and Baker watch outside, through the window. Baker asks her what this place is. Hope turns to face him, tears in her devastated eyes. "This place is my home," she whispers. - Carly runs into Dan at the pier and apologizes for her earlier reaction. If he wishes to marry Chloe, so be it. Dan happily updates her he is getting married. Carly's eyes flicker. Did Chloe tell him something? He chuckles Chloe had actually wished to elope tonight. - Hope is outside her house, sadly explaining to Baker that she has lots of baggage. Her husband left her, traded her in for a newer model. That is her house, with her daughter and husband in it. Dick realizes her victims were merely stand-ins for the real macoy. Hope sadly says indeed they were, for BO. Baker gulps as in Bo Brady, the police commissioner? Ciara is now seen returning to the living room, where she calls for daddy to come, as she is ready to show him her treasures. She whips out the wallets as Hope watches from outside the window, horrified. "Oh my God, that little devil, she has them!" She turns back to look at her partner in crime Baker, who is speechless as the child plays inside, ready to show the police commissioner evidence that could seal both their fates ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "I am marrying Chloe and there is nothing you can say about it!" Daniel exclaims to Carly. "You are asking me to kill her!" Chloe tells Viv. "Time to say goodbye to my life as I know it," whispers Hope, as she observes Ciara thru the window. |
