PART 1 - Replay of Tay getting the call from Lexie, then Rafe stopping her from going anywhere down at the pier. He grabs her phone and repeats it. She calls him a murderer. She tries to run away and screams for help. Rafe grabs her and clamps his hand over her mouth. He warns her to stay quiet when he takes his hand away. She does. He wants to know if she has told anyone she thinks he killed her mother. She flashes back to enlightening Nicole, but does not share the information. - Replay of Nicole telling EJ she knows what he did. He plays innocent. She adds she wants a divorce today right now! EJ starts to laugh, then winces in pain. He is elated by the news. Nicole laughs if he thinks he will be able to jump into her sister's bed, then he thought wrong! She wants two things - her freedom and for him to suffer! EJ drawls those are only words but Nicole coldly suggests he wait and see ... - At the Kiriakis mansion, Mel implores Brady not to admit he attacked Brady cos she and others have put themselves on the line. Brady refuses to forget what EJ did to Arianna, however. Mel reminds him that she is a nurse. She hopes he is sober and will not start Salem's World War III! Brady stares, then explains he must finish what he started. Enter Victor. He has heard about EJ being beaten almost to death and suspects the culprit was Brady ... - At the hospital, Lexie asks Dan why EJ was injected with a sedative to help him sleep. Dan insists it was the right thing to do and explains Lexie is family, so she cannot think clearly. And why is Bo there? She called him, as EJ was attacked. Dan points out he was the one who found and saved EJ. Lexie apologizes for having questioned him. She laments she could lose her brother in the blink of an eye. She thanks Dan for all he did. - At DiMera mansion, Stefano was unable to sleep. He asks maid Mary to make him breakfast, then notices a decanter has been damaged. Mary blurts out she was asked to say nothing. And what transpired there was much more than a dusting accident ... A call from Lexie interrupts. EJ is in the hospital! The phoenix is on his way and asks Mary to instruct the family to meet him there. - Bo, still lurking at the hospital, is on the phone with Hope, who has put the imposter back in the closet. She is disappointed that Bo was not able to get in to see EJ and becomes worried upon hearing that Taylor has flown the coop. She is running around Salem, thinking that Rafe killed her mother! Bo sent Rafe after her. Hope wants to help ... Bo later approaches nurse Maxine, hoping to interview EJ. The phoenix walks in and wants to see his son. Bo drawls he will have to wait. Stefano gives him a look. "The last time you solved a crime, Bill Clinton was in office!" - Carly asks Jen what she is doing. Jen stammers she was looking for her keys. Carly stands up and agrees that the room is a mess, like when they were in boarding school. Jen declares she has never seen anything as bad as this! What is all the powder? Ring ring! Tis Daniel. He wonders if something is the matter. - Pretty Julie waltzes into the pub to help Maggie decorate for Will's party. Julie has heard that Victor made a big contribution to the hospital. Maggie updates her that he said she was too good for him. Julie laughs that never stopped him before and is not sure what to say. Maggie feels it is time to end her hopeless dance and call it quits with the Greek tycoon. He is really a gangster emeritus! In fact, she is relieved that Vic wanted to end things. Julie is doubtful. Maggie quips she has been conflicted. About Victor and also about being with anyone, out of guilt. She imagines Mickey would not want it. Julie insists he would want her to be happy, not lonely. Maggie cries she is sad most of the time. And she fears that she might not be able to handle going further with Victor. Perhaps she is only interested, as she senses he does not wish to be with her ... - Back at the pier, Rafe tries to make Tay see that things are complicated. She just wants to know why her mother was killed. So does he ... - In EJ's hospital room, he warns Nicole that Tay will have to take her word over his about what he did to Rafe. She, however, has something far worse on her mind. "I know what you did! I know all of it now!" EJ waits ... - At the house of Kiriakis, Brady denies he did anything to EJ and walks away from his powerful grandfather. Victor now turns to Mel. He knows she lied to him. "Don't do it again!" Mel quips she is divorced from Phil so he is no longer family and cannot tell her what to do! He notes she is not afraid of him. She states he is bad for his son and grandson, and they try and prove themselves by doing stupid things. Perhaps he should be spending more time with Maggie instead of meddling! Exit Mel. - At the hospital, Stefano slyly asks why Bo is so anxious to gain access to his son's room ... - Jen assures Dan she is fine and their call is soon over.
