| Friday, June 24, 2011 up by 5:13 pm et June 23 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! COVERUP! PART 1 - Shirtless Brady answers the door in his trunks, having just done some laps. He is dripping wet! Nicole is impressed. He has been drinking and mentions his fights with Mel and Vic. He gets himself another one. Nicole states she has spoken with EJ and told him she wants a divorce. Brady freezes and gives her a look, then hands her a drink. Nicole gets sarcastic about her lousy decisions concerning men. Brady quips he makes lousy decisions too. Matter of fact, he shouldn't have beaten up EJ while drunk. He should have stayed sober and killed him! He is glad Nicole is rid of him. Nicole laments she lost him in the process. Vic arrives and thunders at Nicole to get out of his house, Brady to put down his drink. He has heard quite enough! - Maggie carries a box in the decorated pub when Mel approaches her about Victor. Maggie is not interested. Mel insists this is a matter of life and death. People could die! Maggie stares. She wants clarification. Mel hesitates to explain who could die. She is worried about what Vic might do, as t'was Brady who beat up EJ. Maggie is stunned. They sit down at a table and Mel updates her on the whole scenario. She remembers what Stefano did to Phil when he blamed him for Tony's death. Therefore, she must get Victor out of town! She knows she still loves him. Maggie is not sure, as sometimes she feels like Mickey is still her husband. She remains conflicted and might always be. Mel wants her to be able to love again. The redhead cries she is most grateful to have people like her who care so much and take care of her. She hugs her. Mel smiles Maggie takes care of them too. She gets back to the subject of Victor. Maggie whispers she does indeed love him, though they cannot be together ... - At the Cheatin heart, Dario goes in the other room to get a case of beer. Detective McCarthy enters and coldly tells Adrienne she is looking for one Dario Hernandez! Dario has just returned with the beer and gets tense. What does she want? The detective demands to know where he was after midnight. Adrienne sticks up for him and warns her husband is a lawyer. Dario pretends he does not remember that far back. Adrienne starts to say he was there but Dario stops her, as he can handle it himself. Adrienne puts her hand on her hip and states he was working there last night. "All night?" asks McCarthy. Adrienne will not answer. The blond detective warns Dario that a witness saw him at the pier where EJ was attacked last night. That makes him a prime suspect! - Replay of Tay telling EJ that she heard Rafe say he pushed her mother down the stairs and he had her cameo! But why would he want to kill her? EJ flashes back to informing Stefano that Fay must have been trying to tell her daughter about Rafe. He gasps he is so sorry. "It's my fault!" Tay is surprised. How is it his fault? EJ asks what Rafe said to her. Tay demands to know why he said it was his fault. EJ murmurs he should never have let that man near his children or near her. He sensed that something was wrong after the accident and he should have paid more attention. Tay suspects he just does not want her to know the reason her mother died and says so! She saw the police at the house with Rafe, getting his confession. EJ promises that if the cops are trying to protect Rafe, they will find out. She wants the truth. She hopes Sami is wrong and he is not keeping something from her. She implores him to tell her ... - Maxine is on the phone at the hospital and quips the Intruder reporter needs to talk to PR Jen about hospital security. Click! Jen approaches and Maxine sighs a reporter from the Salem Intruder has seen an internal memo about missing meds. And she must want to find out who has been taking them. Maxine gets paged. Jen flashes back to the white powder in Carly's room and assures herself it is just aspirin. Bo and Hope are at the hospital. Bo steps away to take a cop call as he enters EJ's room. Jen walks up to Hope and notes he is going into EJ's room. Hope notices she is anxious about something. Jen sighs she knows something that could blow someone Bo cares about out of the water! Bo saunters into EJ's room in time to overhear Tay begging him to tell her if he is keeping something from her. The commissioner drawls he would like to know, too! Tay accuses Bo's department of covering for a murderer. EJ is the only one she can trust. The commissioner calls that odd, considering that no one else trusts him. He informs Tay she is under arrest for assaulting Hope Brady, who intends to press charges. EJ calls him a son of a bitch and weakly promises to get Taylor a lawyer. Exit Tay and Bo. Outside the room, Carly reminds Bo he was supposed to get permission before talking to the patient. What did he say? Nothing. Carly goes in and finds EJ in pain, gasping they need to contact his fatha. Out in the hall, Tay is carted off by Bo as she loudly accuses Hope of wanting to keep her from EJ. Jen continues with her story. When she and Dan were together last night, he got a call from Mel. Carly appears and snaps at her not to say one more word! Jen reasons they should at least tell part of what transpired to Bo. Carly disagrees. Hope returns and Jen blurts out they know who did this to EJ! - At the mansion, Brady is not interested in Vic's judgmental comments. Victor knows what Brady did to EJ. What happens when the DiMeras know it too? He argues that it could get worse. If the DiMeras find out Nicole came running to him after asking EJ for a divorce, it would not bode well. He suddenly cackles they might kill Nicole, but that would be a silver lining ... - Jen enlightens Hope that the person who beat up EJ was Brady! - Bo has Tay down at the station. He wants to know how EJ reacted when she told him that Rafe killed Fay. Tay gets sarcastic, then reminds him he knows very well who murdered her mother. Bo explains he also wants to know why and notes she seems scared that EJ might know why too. Love is not always blind. Ring ring! Tis Hope. "Brady was the one who beat up EJ!" she tells Bo ...
