| Monday, March 15, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only SWEET PEA! - Bo comes by the pier and exclaims what is Carly doing! He told her he would fight the charges! But Carly has made up her mind. She tells him of her deal with Viv. However, Bo doubts Vivian would be satisfied with Carly going to jail. And he knows someone who can help. Hope. She has already volunteered for the mission of getting Melanie to tell the truth. Carly considers Hope a person of integrity and says that must why Bo loves her so much. She looks at him sadly and then starts to stammer about it. Bo grabs her in a kiss and assures her she is the one he wants and needs. True, he has a history with Hope, but things change, people outgrow each other. What he and Carly have feels right. She thinks so, too. Bo states it is crazy for her to want to play the martyr. Vivian will be caught. Beside, if she is in prison, that is like abandoning her daughter all over again! - Hope enters Mel's room and she would like a word, about the facts. She explains Carly was defending her, not trying to kill her. Mel doubts it and reminds Hope she is having an affair with Bo anyway. Mel wants to put Carly behind bars, it seems, cos she threw her away when she was born. Hope tries to explain she was trying to protect her. Mel is angry. Hope thinks she is doing this out of spite, not because she believes Carly is guilty. She is sorry for her childhood. Mel cries and says she wants to be left alone. Once alone, she throws a magazine across the room. - Hope now joins Bo and Carly at the pier. Her talk with Melanie did not go well. The girl is determined to punish Carly, it appears, for personal reasons. - Max enters the pub and greets an elated Caroline. He gets an update on sister Mel and is stunned to hear she was shot by her biological mother. He has a few hour layover on his way to a medical conference in San Diego. Caroline encourages him to visit her. - In her room, Melanie is soon glad to have a visitor - Max! He asks if she is okay. "No," she pouts. She smiles she missed him. He asks where her adoring husband is. Running errands, after she convinced him she would not die if he left. Max is sorry he could not make her wedding. Mel does not want to talk Carly. Max has heard about Daniel Jonas being her father. Mel gets teary-eyed and points out they were both raised by Trent so they are still like brother and sister. He agrees. They hug and she moans he will always be her family! Max concurs. He has always felt in his heart she was his sister - since he saw her - and that will never change. He is the same older brother who loves her because she is a great person and smart and sometimes funny and loyal. Mel laughs and cries about "screwing up." Max, however, says she is on the right track. He now wants to talk about what happened. Mel assumes he wants her to give Carly a break. Indeed. Mel slurs she does not want to cut her any slack. Max realizes she is angry, but in the end if she lets her mother go to prison - when she was trying to protect her - then she will suffer the most. - At the prison, Nicole is taunted by the guard as she scrubs the floor with a toothbrush. When the guard says SWEET PEA, it triggers a memory of the woman who took Sydney calling her sweet pea. Nicole concentrates. Who else used to say that to Sydney? She flashes back to the leopard boots and imagines seeing Anna standing before her. She blinks back to reality. Tis the guard, who walks away. - Chez Sami, she noisily paces, as Elvis plays with Sydney on the sofa. Elvis would like to know what is the matter. She claims she does not want to discuss. She mumbles about Rafe and gets impatient when EJ pries. She thinks Rafe will be able to find the kidnapper and blurts out he has a good lead. EJ's eyes flicker.What kind of a lead? She knows not, though he is good at what he does. Elvis coolly reminds her of the ransom fiasco. Based on that, he has no faith in Rafe! - FBI Rafe and Clark jump into the cabin, guns drawn. There are many cobwebs and the place is now empty. He senses they have the right place, despite the fact that it looks like no one has been there for a long time.He pauses at the fireplace, and instructs Clark to keep looking. She does. He soon calls Sami and asks her to meet him there - and she should bring EJ. Elvis appears tense upon hearing the cottage to which FBI Rafe has summoned them is on Oak Road! They make their way over. Sami later enters with Sydney and Elvis. Rafe drawls this is the only structure in the vicinity where the kidnapper called EJ. Sami laments this is where they must have kept her baby. Elvis wonders if Rafe even has any proof. Rafe raises an eyebrow and gives him a look. He drawls EJ seems agitated. Elvis claims he is frustrated as they have not found the kidnapper and he thinks this dump will upset Sydney. Rafe remarks she does not appear upset. Does he recognize anything here? Sami points out the video did not show the place at all. Agitated Elvis is about to leave when Agent Clark enters with a Mr. Topits the caretaker from down the road. Elvis nervously glances at the elderly man, who claims he saw nothing. Clark walks him to his car. Elvis wants Sami to leave with him and accuses Rafe of grasping at straws. All that matters to him is he has his daughta back. Rafe states it could happen again. EJ insists searching this place is an utter waste of time. The kidnappers did not leave any traces behind. They should just be happy they have their daughta back. He wants Sami to leave with him. She would rather wait for Rafe. Rafe responds that he is done, and the lab is on their way. As they all leave together, he repeats they will find the kidnapper. "It's only a matter of time ..." - Anna is on the plane, anxious to get out of Salem, yet she will miss Sydney. She rummages in her bag for Sydney's picture and does not find it. Her eyes widen in horror. "Oh no! What if I left it at the cottage!" She removes all contents of her purse and gasps if they find the picture, with her fingerprints, she is not going down alone. She is taking EJ with her! Things get even more stressful for the felonista ... The pilot now announces a delay due to a mechanical problem. Anna is about ready to panic! - On the pier, Bo gets called to the station and decides to offer Gus a deal so they can get Vivian. He saunters off. Hope informs Carly that Mel could still change her mind. Carly declares she is pleading guilty. Hope says that could mean years of incarceration. Carly talks about this being the best thing for everyone, including Bo.She elaborates. If she is out of the picture, he can find his way back to Hope. But Hope is not impressed. She calls it a patronizing offer and she can go to hell with it! - Rafe, Sami, and Sydney arrive back at her place. He intends to head back to the office. Sami would like him to spend time with Sydney and hands her to him. "We're a family. It's all that matters," says she. They both smile. He is glad to have Sydney back, though he still has to find the person or persons who took her and bring them to justice! - Tense Elvis returns to the mansion. Ring ring! Tis Anna, checking in with news of her delayed flight. He sternly warns her to get out of the country immediately! She is still on the ground. Elvis exclaims that is bloody great, pours himself a drink, and updates her. Hernandez knows all about the cottage. Anna panics. What if he finds anything? Elvis calls her dense. She calls him a snarky creep. He reminds her of their precarious position. "If Rafe finds anything incriminating in or around that cottage, then you and I are history!" After a tense moment, the pilot announces the problem has been fixed. They will take off shortly. Elvis wishes her a bon voyage. Anna asks him to give her SWEET PEA a kiss and they end the call. Elvis looks at Sydney's picture and mutters daddy dodged another bullet. Her secret is safe with him. He breathes a sigh of relief ... - Back in the slammer, Nicole questions her vision. Ho could it have been Anna who took Sydney? She flashes back to Anna at the mansion once upon a time. She wearing a leopard top, calling Sydney SWEET PEA before leaving for a trip with Tony. Nicole's mouth drops open as she comes back to reality and does the math. "Oh my God. It was Anna ...!" Next on Days of Our Lives "This is about what must be and what will be!" Carly exclaims to Hope. Nicole calls a shocked Anna on her phone, before the plane has taken off. "It's Nicole. Long time no talk!" she says gleefully. "You need to tell me exactly what was in this letter, Stephanie," demands Nathan. |
