| Tuesday, March 2, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only DIMERA CANDID CAMERA! - Chez Sami, her phone is ringing. She picks it up , flashes back to the latest note, and curses EJ. Rafe emerges, looking at papers, and notes something is wrong. He can help. She plays innocent. He remarks she has been tense since they were at the pier. She pretends simply to be preoccupied about the twins. He presses. They can discuss the real reason she put off the gathering. Sami fibs she felt it would have been rushed. Rafe suspects EJ said something to her in private. "So, what did he say to you!" he demands to know. She continues to sidestep. He continues to insist EJ was behind her changing her mind. "Just tell me what he said!" Sami sighs. They disagree. - At the pub, Brady approaches Ari and kisses her. So much for her not talking to him! He wants to make things right between them. Roman now saunters in and tells Brady he called the warden about arranging his visit with Nicole. Ari coldly tells loverboy she must get back to work and does just that. Brady and Roman sit at a table. Roman informs him Nicole instructed the warden no visitors, especially not Brady Black! Roman is quite certain she knows not of Sydney's death. Brady feels she deserves someone to tell her cos she loved that baby. Ari listens, then quietly steps out for a moment. Brady insists that Roman ask the warden again. He must see her, face to face! He later heads down to the pier, where he finds Ari sitting on a bench. He drawls she has nothing to worry about. Ari states it is never over and reminds him Nicole stole another woman's baby and lied, to him and to everyone. Still, he wants to go to her. When will he realize that she will never be out of his life! Brady pauses. Ari accuses him of simply going thru the motions with her as she is available. He denies it. She reminds him he recently admitted he loved Nicole.Past tense, LOVED, he points out. He cannot abandon his friend. Ari exclaims Sydney is dead because of her. He replies she was bringing Sydney back when she herself was attacked. Ari cries maybe she is just being selfish. Brady explains she is not seeing things clearly. She sadly says they will not make it unless he changes and she doubts he will. He insists he loves Ari, as his present and future. Does she believe him or not? She wants to, yet there is always Nicole. Brady stops her from leaving and declares he had a reason for wanting to talk to her today. He would like her to go somewhere with him. Tis a surprise. "Will you come with me?" She considers. - Elvis returns to the cabin and asks Anna if it is done. Affirmative. He also wants to know how it turned out. Fine, says she. He perceives her hesitation. She is concerned about things going wrong. He has a look on the computer and grins it will work just fine. Soon they will be counting the hours until Samantha and Rafe are history! Anna broaches the subject of his feelings for Sami. He cuts her off and retorts all he wants is for his children to grow up in the same house, as one family! "If you say so," she says doubtfully. Elvis now places a call to Samantha. When he hears Rafe is with her, he instructs her "Get rid of him. Now." He will be there in 15 minutes. Back at Sami's, Rafe knows it must have been Elvis with demands calling. She pretends it was just about dropping Johnny off. Rafe announces he has a meeting with his supervisor, but before he leaves, gives her a passionate kiss and assures her he loves her. "I love you too," she whispers when he closes the door. - At Java Cafe, Chad is hard at work. Along comes Gaby, very pleased to hear he is off in about an hour and plans to see a movie. A guy flick. She is interested. He suggests they go together. She happily agrees. Enter Mia. She grimaces at the pair. She joins Will, who hugs her he is glad she is with him, given how down he is right now. Mia asks him to get her a latte, then approaches Chad. "We've gotta talk." She claims to need help with how to cheer up poor Will. Perhaps they could meet and he could help her come up with a plan, given that he must understand what he is going thru. He agrees to meet her at Maggie's, but to tell no one and come alone. Mia smiles like a cheshire cat! Moments later, Gaby is ready to confirm the movie date with Chad. He wonders if she is okay with what happened between Mia and him in the past. Yes. She assures him she cares not what others say about him, then turns and gives Mia a look. Chad must head out and promises to call her about the movie later. Will now greets Gaby. She is sorry about his sister. He admits he does not know what he would do if Mia were not with him! Gaby asks if he is sure she is all that into him. He wonders where exactly that is coming from. Gaby thinks she has issues. Will states he now gets it. Perhaps he should not push Mia due to her past issues. He grins he will give her the space she needs and he just knows they will make it. - Meanwhile, Chad joins Mia at Maggie's. She says she feels awful how she blamed him for what happened. It must have been hard for him to be sent away to school. He does not deny it. She thinks that he seems more mature now, like a better person. What she went thru made her a better person too and she is glad they can still be friends. He asks if that is what they are. He had not thought they were anything anymore. Mia admits she missed him terribly, then came Nicole, leading her to make one bad decision after another. He would rather not rehash that. They both stand up. She is sorry of she hurt him. At night sometimes she cries and wishes she had not pushed him away. "I still think about you. Truth is, I can't stop." He points out she is with Will. She says it is not like what they had and she would like to know if he still thinks about her, too. He cannot lie. She was all he thought about, though they have both moved on. She gets him to admit he does still think about her now. She murmurs they have moved on but a part of her will always love him. "Same here," says he. Mia gets closer and they start to kiss. Chad stops. "I can't do this. This isn't right." Exit Chad. Once alone, Mia airily tells herself so what, she gave up worrying what was right a long time ago! - Chez Sami, Elvis sweeps in and hands an anxious Sami the latest note, which sends them to a website and a warning to tell no one! He burns the note, lest she be tempted to show it to Rafe. She promises to follow the instructions. EJ starts to say it is possible this is simply an attempt to extort money. She cuts him off, then looks at her laptop monitor as the website appears. "Oh my God!" Tis a recent video clip of Sydney in her playpen, with a message that papa Elvis must deliver 5 million dollars immediately and time is running out! Sami cries with joy and worry as EJ puts an arm around her. She laments how can they come up with that money! Elvis informs her he has it in his safe, back from the FBI. He vows to get their daughta back, hugs her, and departs, pausing in front of the door smugly before he walks away. - Rafe joins Roman at the pub and declares he wishes to find and hurt whoever took Sydney. He wants to have a look at all past employees of the DiMeras. He suspects it was someone inside the family. Roman has already done that, but if he wishes, he can have a look at said employee histories down at the station. Sami must feel worse than anyone. Rafe, however, thinks something is going on with her ... He updates him on her sudden cancellation of the gathering. Roman points out she has lost two babies. She could be trying to hide from the pain. Rafe thanks Roman and decides to get back to Sami. - Elvis enters the cabin and laughs to awaiting Anna, holding Sydney, that it went purrrrfectly! He commends her on the good camerawork and cackles he will see if Samantha keeps her promise not to tell Rafe. He sits down at the computer and chuckles she has unwittingly downloaded a trojan, so he can now see what she is doing, as well as control her web cam and microphone! He smiles and watches her crying as she looks at the video of Sydney. "Now Samantha, why don't we see if you're a girl of your word!" - Sami stares at the computer, crying, having just promised Sydney she would see her soon. Enter Rafe. Their eyes lock ... Next on Days of Our Lives "Don't play innocent with me, I know everything!" Chloe tells Carly. Steph faces Nath. "I have to talk to you about Melanie." Elvis watches via web cam as Sami informs Rafe there is something she has to tell him. "Don't you do it, don't you do it, don't blow it," mutters Elvis. |
