And what they did to her! Sami listens and hopes EJ will incriminate himself so she can send him straight to hell. Stefano would like to know why Rafe 2 came back, after their agreement. EJ accuses him of coming back and ruining things. Rafe wonders how he did that. EJ loses his cool. Stefano intervenes. EJ recalls the phoenix warning him to let the imposter lead, to let them see his real agenda. EJ calms down. Rafe starts to talk and Kate waltzes in. "What the hell is he doing here!" Rafe retorts he is there about the kids for Sami. Kate cannot believe she actually forgave him and alludes to Sami's low standards. Stefano ushers his wife out for some air and follows her. EJ notes that Rafe seems to be rather defensive about Sami. So what changed? Rafe wants to know what exactly he did to screw things up. EJ reminds him that Sami was done with him and then he showed up again! Besides, now he is acting like she is his legit wife. Which one of them changed? Rafe drawls the conversation is over, as he is getting on his nerves. EJ quips it is not! He wants an explanation. Rafe claims to want a scotch, then "accidentally" breaks an antique vase with a smirk. - At the pier, Dario gets mad at Mel and snaps he is now screwed! Mel checks the thug's pulse. He does have some bleeding. She reminds Dario this was the guy who threatened him. He insists he would have taken care of it. Brady saunters up and asks what is going on. Dario and Mel bicker. Brady points out that guy is either dead or unconscious. They explain he is unconscious. Mel cutely babbles she was trying to protect Dario from his bookie. Dario bet on the Cubs. And lost. Brady drawls they are never a good bet. Dario insists he could have handled it but now they are all in trouble! The thug stirs. Mel tells him she hit him as he threatened her friend. He leers at her to get away from him and groggily threatens to kill them all. Brady coolly states he is a Kiriakis and he is on his turf now! He suavely hands him Dario's payment and some extra cash to make him forget about the entire incident. Or else! The thug gets quiet. He later staggers off. Brady will follow him, to make sure he gets checked out at a hospital. Mel thinks Dario should be grateful but he is bitter that word on the street will be that he can't pay his own bills! - At the Cheatin Heart, Abigail asks Jen if she heard right. Indeed. Carly was Katarina. Abigail flashes back to Carly pretending that the mysterious Katarina was her patient. Dan asks if she is alright. She stammers she is. Jen notes she is tense. Abigail covers by saying she was just surprised. She excuses herself to head back to the hospital to get her phone. Dan and Jen discuss how distracted the girl was. Ring ring! Tis Victor. He summons Dan to the house, as he fears his ulcer is acting up. Dan tries to tell him he is busy. The Greek tycoon does not wish to go to the hospital and is anxious. Dan suggests to Jen that she come with him. She smiles. - Meanwhile, Carly is still passed out in her office. She eventually comes to and stands up. A security guard comes by and notices she is in bad shape. He offers to get help. She asks him not to, then pretends she was just weak from not eating. She hopes this can stay between them. The guard frowns. Later, when Carly is alone again, Abigail storms in and confronts her for lying to her! Carly says she is ill, hence the cover name. She does not want anyone to worry. Abigail is sorry and asks how she can help. She can promise not to tell anyone. - At the park, Nicole and Taylor exchange I hate you's. Nicole dares her to spit out that she is in love with EJ! Taylor blurts out she loved him from the minute she saw him and loves him even more now! Nicole is stunned. "My God!" Her admission has made it even worse. She angrily reminds her sister she asked her if the man she fell in love with was EJ and she denied it! She made a fool of her, letting her say how much she loved him when she knew he did not love her. Tay tries to explain. Nicole screams to stay away from her! She destroyed her life! Tay exclaims she is the one blackmailing EJ to stay in a loveless marriage. And she knows what she has on him! Nicole considers. And she still loves him? Taylor points out he got rid of the drug business after one of his thugs went rogue and killed Arianna. Nicole's eyes widen as she takes in the delicious intel ... - Sami is at the loft, listening to the action at the mansion when loud knocking is heard at the door. Tis Caroline, dismayed that she is back with Rafe. Is she out of her mind?! Will wanted to stay at her place for another night so he would not have to be near that cheating bastard. Is the cheater there now? Sami replies that he is not and tries to get rid of Caroline. Caroline persists. She wants answers and wants to know why she took him back! Sami replies they talked things through and he was his old self again. It is complicated. Caroline reminds her of his cheating. Sami sighs she forgave him. But how could she? Sami quips grandpa Shawn forgave her for cheating on him! Caroline quietly admits she is right. She should not judge, yet does not wish to see her get hurt. Sami assures her that Rafe will never harm her again. - At the Kiriakis mansion, Dan informs Victor it was just acid reflux. Victor is delighted to see Jennifer and declares he is pleased about their relationship. As far as he is concerned, godson Daniel finally got it right! He wants them to stay for a drink. Dan warns him alcohol would not be good for him and steps away to take a call. Meanwhile, Vic gets Jen a glass of water, trashes Chloe, and drawls Dan has shown good taste by dating her. Jen has noticed his scrapbook. The Greek tycoon was taking a trip down memory lane and invites Jen to look at some old photos of Daniel. She giggles he was an adorable tyke, and handsome boy with great hair. She says wow when she sees a picture of Rebecca, the wife he lost to cancer. She was beautiful. Victor readily agrees. Beautiful like Chloe, who was at least beautiful on the outside. He never had trouble finding beautiful women and that is why Jennifer should hang onto him! - In the DiMera foyer, Kate wants to know why on earth Rafe and Sami are together again. The phoenix knows not. She wonders what he intends to do about it. They go back into the living room, where Rafe has just broken the vase, grinning he is like a bull in a china shop. He decides it is time to leave. No one stops him. - At the hospital, Abigail agrees to keep Carly's secret. She uncomfortably excuses herself. Carly gasps, takes the bottle of pills out of her purse, and dramatically decides this has to stop! - At the mansion, Victor arranges for his driver to take Jen home, as Dan must go to the hospital. At the front door, Dan tells his date he is sorry the night was cut short, but she understands, as he is a doctor. They arrange to meet tomorrow too! Dan kisses her and is gone. - At the loft, Rafe admits he could have killed DiMera and finds out Sami did not hear the entire exchange. It'is like they're standing in a mine field! Sami promises she will stay cool, but what that bastard did to her chills her to the bone. Rafe stares ... - At the mansion, Stefano and EJ discuss the newest developments. EJ assumes Rafe wants money. Stefano disagrees. To think that Samantha would be stupid enough to forgive him after he saved the children! EJ is not so sure he would have come back for Samantha. Stefano solemnly takes a drink ... - Back at the park, Tay repeats that Nicole was blackmailing EJ about his drug operation so why does she act like she has never heard this before? Nicole warns her she is staying with EJ and the kids and if she doesn't stay away, she will tell the cops all about his drug business! She should think about that! - Carly considers throwing her pills in the river,then appears to reconsider and puts them back in her bag ... - At the Kiriakis mansion, insecure Jen stares at the photos of Dan and Rebecca. She was so beautiful, just like Chloe. She shuts the book and sighs ... - At the dark park, Taylor leaves a phone message for EJ. She cannot meet him now. She worriedly wonders what she is going to do and raises her eyes to the heavens ... - At the loft, Rafe wishes he could have been more like the imposter. How? There are two things he needs to do! - Back at the mansion, EJ suggests the Rafe replacement may have fallen in love with Samantha. Stefano does not give a damn. He is just back and they do not want him around, especially not near the kids! Well, at least the real Rafael is dead. The plan was to rid EJ of Rafe as a father figure so ... The answer to what his son must do next is obvious, casually states the phoenix. "Eliminate him!" Next on Days of Our Lives "When you wanna have some fun, you call me! Bye bye!" Maggie flirts with Victor. "Stop taking the damn pills and everything will be fine!" Carly tells herself. EJ faces a most anxious Sami. "After what I did? What are you talking about!" |
