Monday, May 3, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only A DANGEROUS MIND and more ...! - Replay of Hope's alter ego showing up at the poker room as Baker opens the door. Where is he going? None of her business. Hope shoves him back in and reminds him that partners stick together! He blows her off. She warns him there is no turning back for either of them now. He warns her she is the one in deep cos she is a cop. "Who the hell are you anyway!" Hope suggests he take a seat so she can explain. She becomes intense. Baker sits down, ready to listen. Hope sits down too. Yes, she is a detective, who has been assigned to investigate the muggings. She tells Baker when she works at her day job, she will not even remember him. He asks about her motives for doing what she is doing. She has her reasons but that is not his concern. All he needs to be concerned about is that they are having fun and making money. He tries to tell her they are finished. Hope, however, purrs they are just beginning! - At the pub, Stephanie wonders how Phillip was a bastard. Did he do something to make Mel mad? He is a wreck as he flashes back to his Chloe adventure, then gets sheepish when Steph asks him to come clean about what he did. She presses. He tells her to lay off and claims he had an argument with Victor. She doubts it. He slurs whatever he did is not her business. She replies it is. He accuses her of disliking Mel. Steph says the girl is complex, but she does like her. However, if Phil really messed things up, then wifey Mel will fall into Nathan's arms, which neither of them want! Phil gets a ringing text message and leaves, much to Steph's dismay. She admits to Aunt Adrienne that something is wrong, but she is afraid to find out what it is. They are soon outside in the Salem night. Adrienne does not think she should worry. Steph points out she should, cos Phil always blows it when he is in a relationship. "I know that first hand." Adrienne calls it the Kiriakis curse. Steph sighs that Mel will run to Nath and ... She suddenly stops and declares this time she will not allow anyone to destroy her happiness! All she needs is to find a way to get Nathan to commit. Adrienne advises her to be herself. If he does not appreciate her, then he is surely an idiot. Exit Adrienne. Steph pulls out her birth control pills and appears to consider ... - At the Cheatin Heart, the motel manager enlightens Chloe on what he means. Obviously she is a jealous type and someone out there is playing with her because of it. Chloe's eyes widen. "Carly!" He asks if anyone out there would want to make her believe something untrue. She points out he was the one who lied Carly and Dan were together. He has had enough and departs. Out in the alley, he places a call to Vivian and leers he did as instructed. The beauty queen bought it! Chloe is soon joined at her table by Phil, whom she had summoned. She explains their reason for cheating is because of Carly Manning. "That slut set me up!" Phil is not so sure. Chloe insists. Perhaps Carly is worried that Chloe will make Daniel and Melanie see how selfish and manipulative she really is. She laments she cheated and does not deserve Daniel. Phil reassures her that she does, too. Chloe laments if not for that Carly, they would never have cheated. She set her up, as she is the only person who could hate her that much. Phil admits she might be right. Chloe gets herself worked up into a state. Phil warns her to keep it together, not blurt things out. He thinks she should steer clear of Carly. Chloe agrees. "I hate her! I hate her so much!" He repeats for her to stay away from Carly and everything will be fine. She will but she will make Daniel see that she is the devil! - At the hospital, Dr. Carly is in and Mel has a question. She would like to know her opinion of Chloe. Carly later gets off the phone with Bo, all smiles. She tells Mel the good news that his sis will make a full recovery. Now, to get back to Chloe. Melanie claims that she looks at her strangely sometimes, though she seems nice. Looks like she is judging her. Carly assures Mel she is funny and smart and Chloe is lucky to have her in her life. Mel gets teary eyed and thanks her. Maybe Chloe is just possessive of Daniel. Carly doubts it. And she thinks Chloe will make Dan happy. Mel decides not to be so paranoid about the way Chloe looks at her. She wants her father to be happy. She adds that is what she wants for both of her parents. Carly is touched. Melanie now wants her to be a part of her life. Perhaps later they will get close. Carly smiles she would like that. - Dr. Dan has a visitor - Nathan, with some files. Dr. Dan is consulting until he is recovered enough for the OR. He invites Nath to stay and is surprised when Nath asks if Chloe is there. He decides maybe he should get going. Dan asks if it would have anything to do with Chloe. "Sorta," gulps the young doc. Dan probes. Nath pretends he just does not wish to make Chloe feel uncomfortable, since he is living in that house Lucas got for her. And she and Lucas are not on good terms. Daniel is baffled. He makes sure Nath has no problem with him, then assumes he knows what is going on. Dan assumes it is due to Nath's unresolved feelings for Mel that he might be uneasy. Dan, however, does trust him. Nath explains he must leave as he has a date with Stephanie tonight and did not wish to sound unprofessional, that is all. Dan tells him not to worry about it. Nath thanks him for understanding and takes off. Dan ponders. - At the house of Kiriakis, Brady and Ari are making out on the sofa. He suggests they re-live their first time in the pool together. Ring ring! They both sigh. Meanwhile, Nicole wishes Brady would pick up! Her call goes unanswered and Brady gets back to kissing Arianna. A few minutes later, he is shirtless. Impatient, loud knocking is heard on the front door. He gets his shirt on and opens the door, surprised to see upset Gaby. She is desperate to see her sister, to help her fix something. Her laptop froze and her history paper disappeared! Brady buttons his shirt. Ari listens. Gaby asks her sis to help her as she needs to re-write the 15 page history paper by morning. Brady understands and wishes the gals luck as they leave. He shuts the door and rolls up his sleeves. Knock knock knock! This time tis nervous Nicole. Brady is not pleased to see her. She alludes to the fact that she is in trouble. He retorts she is not his problem and asks her to get out. She will, but first wants him to look her in the eye and say she means nothing to him. Then she will walk out the door and never return. - Back in the poker room, Baker drawls he knew the first moment he met Hope that something was way off! He picks up his suitcase and heads for the door. Hope stands up and calmly asks him to hand over the cashier's check. She knows he withdrew the funds after he transferred EJ's money to his account. She pulls a gun on him. He reluctantly hands over that check. She rips it up into little pieces. Money has nothing to do with this! He calls her nuts. She stops him and says she needs him, looking at him with tormented, teary eyes. "Please don't go!" She had a partner before but he is now gone and never coming back. She cries she feels so alone and then snaps at him not to touch her. - Vivian gloats to partner in crime Gus that everything is going her way. They drink champagne and clink their glasses when she cackles that Chloe thinks Carly is playing sadistic tricks on her mind! - At the pub, Ari helps Gaby on her computer. She just might be able to retrieve the paper ... - At the house of Kiriakis, Brady shuts the door. He and Nicole embrace. He will get them a drink and then she can plead her case. She waits for him in the living room, then sees a text he received from Arianna, that she might be home soon. Nicole unbuttons the top buttons of her blouse. Brady returns with the drinks and drawls now she can tell him why she is ... innocent! She starts to remove her blouse. She wants to show him her appreciation. He gets annoyed and throws her out, then goes for walk. - At Dan's place, he is having a meeting with Carly about a case they are working on together. Friendly Carly hopes Chloe will soon be home. Dan is not sure. She sent him a text that she would be running a little late. He steps out for a few minutes to pick up some Italian food. Before he goes, Carly thanks him for being such a good friend. She is still there alone when Chloe walks in and gives her a cold stare ... - Hope wears down Baker until he agrees to be her partner. She jumps up with a smile on her face. Time to rock and roll! So many men, so little time! She waltzes out as Baker follows, shaking his head ... - Mel kisses Phil at home and smiles she loves him. He loves her too - so much. Mel asks if this weekend, they could visit papa Dan, Chloe - and invite Carly along. He agrees so she scurries off to get herself ready. Phil anxiously makes a call ... - Nicole leaves a message for Brady to please give her another chance. She is outside the pub and spies Arianna and Gaby thru the window.She unbuttons her blouse, messes her hair, and enters, pretending to be on the phone, thanking Brady. Ari doubts she was with him. Nicole says he was just a shoulder to cry on and mentions seeing Ari's text. Ari calls her evil and takes off ... - Still at the pier, Steph drops her birth control pills into a garbage can. Along comes Nath, who asks if she is ready. "Definitely," says she, and they kiss. Steph now has a glint in her eye! - Madame and Gus toast to the inevitable - Chloe attacking Carly. Let the fireworks begin! - Phil leaves Chloe a frantic message. She should not do anything rash, especially around Carly. Mel has walked back in the room and wonders why he thinks Chloe would do something rash. - Back at Dan's place, Chloe accuses Carly of thinking she is not good enough for Daniel. Carly denies it. Chloe shouts at her to shut her lying mouth, because she knows what she did! - At the pub, Gaby tells Nicole she thinks she is a horrible person. Nicole sarcastically replies she is devastated. The teen warns her to leave Brady and Ari alone. Nicole mocks her that she and her sister need to grow up! - At the park, preoccupied Brady, having been out walking alone to clear his head, is annoyed to discover he forgot his phone. Hope and Baker see him. Baker thinks that one is trouble. Hope insists he is the perfect target and whips out her gun. "Let's kick it up a notch!" Moments later, Brady hears a noise and asks who is there. Hope bangs him on the head with the butt of her gun. Brady goes down. Baker emerges from the bushes. Time to get the money. Hope, however, announces this one is not going to get off that easily ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "What is it you're not telling me?" Mel asks Phil. Chloe screams at Carly "You're not going to ruin anyone's life ever again!" "What the hell did you do?" Baker drawls to Hope, as poor Brady lies unconscious. |
