However, she is on edge because of Madeline. Stefano is not fussed. He will take care of that one. Katherine need only put her in the past, says he ... - At the pub, Madeline and Chad are together for lunch, as Gaby waitresses. Madeline thinks Chad messed things up with Gaby. Chad implies his mother meddles in his life, given how she wants him to stay away from the likes of Will. She insists he steer clear of Will, especially now that he dwells with the DiMeras! Madeline must soon get to court. Once she is gone, Chad complains his mother is judgmental, asks Gaby not to tell her he spends time with Will if ever she asks, and departs. Ari soon appears, all flustered. Gaby asks about Rafe. She has not see him. - Back at the DiMera mansion, Sami appears to have changed her mind about moving in. EJ wonders if it is because he pressured her about him being one of the reasons she moved in. Sami remembers their kiss at the pier. She gets uncomfortable and takes off. EJ follows her outside. She mentions the place having bad memories. EJ thinks he can help make it better. Sami solemnly says she will be back for the kids soon and walks away. EJ is puzzled. Kate is inside the mansion, looking at an old photo album. Just when she gets to a photo of herself with Madeline in the past that she would rather destroy, enter Will. He wonders what she is looking at. Kate slips the photo under some papers and mentions Sydney. Will makes a comment about so many people moving into the house. Kate gets a business call and steps out. Will picks up his papers and departs, unaware that he is carrying a very telling picture ...!. - At the pub, Ari is cranky. She has no idea where Rafe is. In addition, the cramps! She needs a midol and takes one for the pain. Gaby would like her sister back! Ari seems to get a message on her phone. - Meanwhile Calliope gets orders from Rafe. She is going to help him get that Anna DiMera whether she likes it or not! Turns out Calliope and Eugene have a deal with FBI Rafe and the IRS. Someone will be going down - either Calliope or Anna. Meanwhile, Anna has just realized that Calliope forgot her compact in her room. Her massage was canceled. In addition, she does not need to see Calliope again. She decides to try and arrange for a flight off the island ... Elsewhere, Rafe helps Calliope get the wire under her blouse. He coaches her on how to get Anna to open up. She laments their target is already suspicious. He later sits at his desk, computer ready, to watch the action, and gets a call from Ari. He claims his lead on Anna did not pan out, though he cannot talk right now. Ari assures him if he catchers the kidnapper, that will change everything for him and Sami. He drawls it is complicated and gets off the phone. At that very moment, Calliope enters Anna's room, looking for her. Rafe watches on his monitor. Calliope thinks she is not there, the pigeon has flown the coop. Rafe barks orders at her. Enter Anna. Who is Calliope talking to? Calliope says she is glad to see her and recalls they used to talk. Anna admits she has missed that. Calliope complains about her IRS problem. And she knows Anna has a problem, too. Rafe does not want her to push too hard. Calliope ignores his warning. Anna asks her why she is being so nosy. - Ari and Gaby talk. Gaby is curious about what Rafe said. Ari thinks he is close to finding the kidnapper. Gaby concludes then he will be Sami's hero, which means both of her siblings will have someone to love them. Ari assures her little sister that she too will have someone. Gaby forces a smile. - At DiMera mansion, Elvis returns inside. Stefano laughs his grandson just beat him at a game. Why is EJ so glum? Due to Kate, Samantha is moving out and he could not change her mind. Stefano, however, is sure she will be back. EJ wonders what he has done. The two disagree. The phoenix assures him Samantha will be back and Hernandez will be too busy chasing his tail trying to find Anna. EJ warns him if he makes a fool of Rafe,then he will try that much harder to get to Anna. And if she talks, he knows he will lose Samantha to Rafe! Kate later realizes she has misplaced the photo of herself and Madeline. Stefano assumes the maid threw it out. Kate is worried. Madeline can undo them both! EJ comes back in the living room. Is there a problem? Kate pretends she was referring to the new maid not working out. Elvis pours himself a drink. Kate leaves, after claiming she will talk to the maid about her vacuuming. - At Java Cafe, Will and Chad are at a table, studying together. When the photo falls out of the papers, Will remarks it looks his his grandma Kate and ... Chad recognizes his own mother! They are young and looking like friends. Will notes it looks like they used to party together. Chad wonders what his mother's problem is. He summons her to the cafe and confronts her about the picture. She assumes Will showed it to him. She states she was a lawyer invoved with Kate's company. A deal was signed, so it was a professional gathering. Madeline hastily excuses herself and calls Kate. If she wants to prevent her life from going down the drain, she will make the time to see her right now, cos they need to talk! Back inside, Gaby approaches Chad. She can see something is wrong. He tells her of the old photo of one time friends Kate and Madeline. His mother Madeline was not up front with him about why he should stay away from the DiMeras. He intends to find out what is going on ...! - Back at the mansion, EJ tells Stefano he can say goodbye to the kids. The phoenix smoothly states it will not be necessary. In storms Sami, who announces she is not taking them to the townhouse after all. A pipe burst and her living room has been flooded. Stefano smugly says they can stay there as long as they like and exits. EJ talks Sami out of staying at a hotel or with a Brady family member. In fact, he has an alternative. She can move in with the children - and then together thet can make Kate's life miserable! Sami chuckles. He points out the possibilities are endless. Sami giggles it sounds petty, vindictive - and appealing. She is in! Enter Will. EJ gives them their privacy. Sami explains she will be living there now, so Will cannot keep avoiding her. She misses him, all the good and bad stuff. He quips she must miss EJ more, since she picked him! Sami explains she will not let him dictate her decisions. Besides, he himself moved in with the DiMeras. The lad points out papa Lucas is out of the country. Will felt he really did not have anywhere else to go. He is mad that she blew it with Rafe and she blew it for all of them. "We could have been a family!" And now ... now she is living with EJ and might even get pregnant with another one of his kids. Sami orders him not to talk to her like that. She reminds him EJ is the father of Johnny and Sydney, which is why she must back him up. Will still does not get it and walks out. EJ later returns. He realizes things did not go well with Will. Sami cries she feels she has lost him. EJ pats her head. She remembers their kiss and announces there must be ground rules. She is only there for the children and does not want anyone to think it will be anything but a temporary situation. EJ does not comprehend why she is putting up new walls. She sighs it is because he kissed her ...! - Madeline and Kate meet at the park. Old pal Kate calls her Maddie. She snaps not to call her that and wants to know what she was thinking when she gave their picture to her grandson! Kate explains she was planning to tear it up, but it ended up in Will's papers. Madeline updates her on the story she gave Chad. She reminds her that if things blow up, it will be worse for her and Stefano! - Back on the remote island, wired Calliope gets Anna to admit she is scared silly.Calliope insists she can tell her anything. Rafe takes it all in on his monitor. Calliope wears her down at long last. Anna woefully announces she is ready to tell her everything ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "He deserves to know the truth," Mel lectures Steph as Nath enters. "We have her right where we want her," drawls Rafe as he watches Anna on his monitor. Sami faces EJ. "So, you know why you kissed me?" |
