Friday, May 7, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only CLIFFHANGERS! - At the hospital, Steph and Nath kiss like a young couple in love. Mel sourly watches from a distance. Nurse Maxine wonders if something is bothering her. No, says Mel. Maxine sends her to see the homeless lady in Room 106. Meanwhile, said homeless lady has Steph's pills in her bag. Mel enters. The patient shows her a sore foot. She also shows Mel all her things, Mel sees the prescription pills and notes her chart does not say she has any prescriptions. The homeless lady explains she just takes whatever she can find for her headaches. She found those in a trash can. Mel explains such pills will not help her headaches. Maggie runs into Steph and Nath in the hall and notes that smiling Steph is glowing! Moments later, Steph and Nath enter the homeless patient's room. Dr Nath wheels her off for an x-ray. Steph remains behind, as she will be doing the social services side. Mel wants a word with Steph, now that they are alone. And it is important! She shows her the birth control pills. Steph claims they fell out of his purse and thanks her for finding them. Mel accuses her of lying. Steph acts indignant. Mel wants to know how they would end up in the trash can. Steph has heard enough. Mel accuses her of trying to trap Nath into fatherhood. She calls it pathetic. Steph calls it pathetic that she tried to get Nath back on her wedding day to Phil. Mel declares she will tell Nath the truth cos he is her friend. Enter Nath. He gets paged away before Mel can say anything. Steph tells Mel to go ahead and tell him. She will look like an idiot. Mel flashes an angry smile and says what she does is not her business anyway ... Brady is talking to visitor Victor from his hospital bed. He assures him he feels better, but the Greek tycoon is very concerned about his psyche. Someone put a mark on him and that person will have to pay! Brady would rather he not get involved. Victor wishes to work with the police. He lists all the powerful men who were attacked. Brady bitterly adds the name EJ DiMera.Victor is dismayed to see his grandson suffer. Brady insists he is fine.Victor perks up when Maggie appears. Mel later enters and the pair leave.Victor hopes they will find the bastard who is doing this. The redhead asks him for a ride home, as there is something she would like to discuss with him. It would be his pleasure ... Back in the Salem patient's room, Nurse Mel takes Brady's pulse, then gets emotional and hugs him, lamenting she was so worried about him. Does he have a minute for a friend? She updates him on Steph's pills, how Nath does not know. Brady reminds her she is married. Besides, she should not get involved in other people's problems. He found out the hard way, via EJ and Nicole. Furthermore, he does not feel Stephanie is the kind of girl who would trick a guy into getting pregnant. Mel quips he does not know her well, in that case, thanks him, and leaves.Later, Steph visits Brady and finds out that Mel has already told him her of concerns. She just wanted to check up on him. She now walks out and quietly damns Melanie ... In the staff room, Dr. Nath is on break. Mel is present. Nath wonders what she was going to tell him. Mel looks intense. "It's about Stephanie." - At DiMera mansion, Sami admits to a surprised EJ how he kissed her. He wonders how she reacted, as he honestly dos not remember the event. She airily says it was not a big deal. He disgrees and frowns that he is a little embarrassed. Sami understands. He had a concussion, Besides, the kiss was brief. He now gets why she has been uncomfortable around him. Sami points out they are friends so they should probably discuss what happened. He is more interested in the "why" and he is certain he knows why he did it. She is beautiful and he must have assumed he was in a different time and place. Their feelings are a thing of the past. She nervously agrees. He points out he had been hit on the head before, and apologizes for any stress he may have caused with the kiss event. Sami smiles, relieved. He smiles back. He makes light of it. Sami states she is grateful for him. Also because they became friends. They agree to put the kids first. He includes Will and Ally. EJ now excuses himself, to take a swim of 100 laps, to help his sore shoulder. He invites her to join him. She points out May is still a cold month. He points out that the DiMera mansion pool is a warm 80 degrees year round. Sami makes a joke about Greenland melting, then nervously admits she would rather not get in a bathingsuit. EJ drawls she looks beautiful and teases her being worried he will kiss her again. Sami gets flustered. She gasps she prefers running to swimming. Johnny races in and EJ picks him up, reminding her that their son likes swimming. Johnny seconds the motion. He now wants to go swimming with daddy. Elvis would need mommy to supervise him. Sami cannot bring herself to say no and takes Johnny off to get in his swimsuit. - In Anna's cabana, replay of Anna saying she will tell all. It started when she met little Sydney DiMera at the mansion. Calliope tells her to leave nothing out! Rafe smugly watches on his monitor,convinced they have the felonista right where they want her! Calliope later rehashes how much of the story Anna has told her. They have arrived at the baby switch part and keep drinking tropical drinks. Anna proceeds to tell of a phone call she got from Stefano, informing her Tony was gone. Anna weeps over losing the love of her life. And she confronted Stefano over it! She took nothing from him. However, then she realized she could get her Tony's inheritance and make evil Stefano suffer at the same time. With the RANSOM. She kidnapped the baby and has no regrets! Back at Rafe's computer, he drawls she is about to regret it ... Calliope wonders where she will be able to hide. Anna slurs she can stay there in paradise. Anna hopes her old pal is not judging her. Calliope inists she never would and gives her a bear hug,causing the microphone to crackle for a few seconds. She hastily excuses herself and departs. Calliope rejoins Rafe, convinced Anna must have been crazy with grief when she took Sami's baby. Rafe wants the name of the person she was working for. Upset Calliope wants out. Rafe insists what she is doing is patriotic. And he believes Calliope's dear friend was a pawn in someone else's game. He sends her back in. Calliope shows up at Anna's cabana, encouraging her to continue. There are worse things than kidnapping a baby anyway. Anna feels so much better for having unburdened her soul. They get back to the sydnapping chatter. Anna announces she is certain EJ still has feelings for Sami. That woman, the mother of his children, was his life. Calliope gets back to the sydnapping. Who made her do it? Who was she working with? Anna slurs if she did not know better, she would think she was grilling her! Rafe stares with worry at the monitor, aware it could go either way at this crucial stage ... - Victor joins Maggie in her kitchen. She admits she was reluctant to get involved, though seeing how he was with Brady made her realize how much he cares about family. Victor smiles it is like how she feels. Indeed. The redhead agrees to try and help him mend fences with Phillip after all. That means a great deal to the Greek tycoon. Maggie gets up to pour her guest a coffee. All of a sudden, her hand starts to shake and she falls - right into Victor's arms! - Sami, Johnny, and EJ hurry back in the livingroom, cold and wet from the swim. After Johnny is sent off, shirtless Elvis gently places a robe around Sami's shoulders. She breathily thanks him. He has a knot in his shoulder. She offers him a massage. He woefully says he knows she has feelings for another man. Sami keeps rubbing his shoulder and quietly says it will never happen between her and that man. He moans, then it starts to hurt so he makes her stop. Sami admits she was once kicked out of massage school. She tells him to relax and gets back to it. They chat. He assures her that she is a gifted person and she should believe that. Their eyes lock, their noses touch, as their lips get closer ... Next on Days of Our Lives "Forget it, this conversation is over!" Anna sadly slurs to Calliope. STEPH What are you guys talking about? NATH You. "Do you have feelings for EJ?" Will asks Sami. |
