Tuesday, September 18, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! Up by early afternoon September 17 ABOUT FACE! - Sami is at the apartment and she anxiously hopes EJ will pick up his phone. He does. She must speak with him. He drawls he is meeting his brotha but she insists they meet as soon as possible. He will be at the town square shortly. Once relieved Sami gets off the phone, Will comes in with their coffee, wearing his new jacket, and a big grin. He announces he has a date! But that’s all he is saying. Sami respects her son's wish for privacy. She now asks him to pick up Brady’s Cub tickets for Johnny. She must go speak with EJ instead, as she needs to clear a certain matter up. Will teases it sounds big. Sami informs him of Rafe and EJ’s brawl. Rafe had insisted it was caused by the fact that they do not like each other. Will jokes he is sure it was about her. Sami explains she will tell EJ it cannot happen again, for the sake of the kids. Will is amused. Sami reminds him he did not share any deets about his love life and wishes he would. She is clearly curious about his mystery date ... - Cheerful Sonny goes to get EJ his espresso after he enters the coffee house. Chad is sitting glumly at the table. Elegant EJ teases he looks like hell. Chad confesses he got precious little sleep last night and the wedding has been moved up. EJ wonders if he is having second thoughts. No, he loves Mel! The problem is Nick Fallon! He complains he is working at the Brady pub. EJ sips his espresso and concludes he thinks the genius set up that scenario on purpose. Chad now mentions there is also a girl from the past. EJ leans forward and asks whether he is cheating with her. Chad denies it and exclaims she is obsessed with him. EJ calls him a little devil. Chad laments the whole thing became a mess, though he would rather not elaborate. Unfortunately, the girl in question is still Mel’s good friend. EJ now gets it. No wonder he cannot sleep! Chad is at a loss what to do. EJ solemnly advises him to do something. Chad explains she seems to be over him and insists she is. EJ wonders if he really believes it. Chad notes the girl had a bad experience and went off the rails. EJ points out Nick is not his only problem. And in his experience, people who go of the rails never get back ... - Dan joins Mel with coffee at Chad’s place. He asks when the big day is. Two weeks. The medicine man gasps that is not gonna happen! Mel is miffed. He eventually admits he does not agree with the notion of her getting married. It only came about because Nick emerged. Mel argues she wants to get married. Does he support her or not! Dan assures her he supports her. Why not wait six months? Mel snaps Chad is freaked out about Nick. She cries she wants to be happy and for everyone else to be happy she is marrying the man she loves. - Working girl Gabi putters about the pub, where Nick is wiping the bar. Enter Abigail. She insists she and Gabi must talk as Mel moved her wedding up and it is now in 2 weeks! Nick stares and comes closer. He assures Abigail that Mel has nothing to fear and he intends to stay away from her and her wedding. Gabi does not feel Nick should blame himself for anything. Nick declares it will be a relief for him to see her happy. Gabi claims to Abigail that she should not take any time off but Abigail insists she needs her help, informs serious Nick she will have her back in an hour, and ushers her out. - At Horton house, Jen nervously flashes back to what she overheard EJ saying, including his plan to have Dr. Jonas’ noble career blown sky high. Nicole interrupts with a complaint about her uncomfortable sleep on her back. “What on earth are you doing to Daniel!” Jen suddenly hisses. Nicole plays innocent. Jen harshly criticizes her for failing to mention the most significant thing she had Daniel doing for her, meaning the lies she is making him tell about her baby! Nicole is flabbergasted. She admits she knows not what to say so Jen does the talking. The baby is not Rafe’s, it belongs to EJ, and she had Dan lie about it, which now puts his entire career in jeopardy. Nicole reminds her that she herself is no angel. She accuses her of trying to cause trouble for her and Daniel and warns her to shut her mouth! Jen counters by demanding to know what she has on Daniel. He would not do anything for her, especially not risk his whole career. Nicole explains he cares for her. Jen gets sarcastic. Nicole smugly elaborates. If he did not care, he would not have made love to her. Jen is dumbfounded. They are having an affair? Nicole explains it is Rafe’s baby. After Sami and EJ cheated, they turned to each other one night. It was one night only. Jen does not believe it. Nicole goes on to say how she and Dan found their way together and want to keep their relationship a secret. Jen doubts it and accuses her of lying and trying to keep her at bay from Daniel. And she knows Rafe would never have sex with her, given she stole Sami’s baby! If she slept with Daniel, then she seduced and used him. However, her dirty little secret is a secret no more! - Knock knock! Mel opens her door to Abigail and Gabi, who are there to help her plan the hasty wedding. Dan mutters he will call her later and excuses himself to get to the hospital. Abigail now brings up the notion of waiting with the wedding, which makes Mel get even more upset. She wails can no one be happy for her, then apologizes. Even papa Dan did not think she should be getting married now. And she understands if they would rather not attend, though she wishes they would be there for her. Abigail tearfully assures her friend that they are in and it will be their perfect wedding! Gabi agrees, as she has no choice. - Will arrives at the Kiriakis mansion to pick up the baseball tickets.Butler Henderson knows exactly where they are and politely goes to fetch them. In the next room Justin and Adrienne are loudly disagreeing over Sonny’s love life. Adrienne is relieved Will is not in the picture, but Justin insists he is. That is a pity. She admits she cannot change how she feels though she can keep her mouth shut. Will woefully sits on the stairs and listens as the heated discussion continues. Justin defends Will as a great kid but Adrienne reminds him he is EJ DiMera’s go-to guy. Justin argues he quit that job and was probably being rebellious at the time. Adrienne points out no wonder, given his unstable life with his mother Sami. Justin points out they have not been stable all the time. Adrienne counters that Sami has dragged him into her seediness and lists his numerous problems. He was dating a girl and did not know he was gay, plus when he was charged with Stefano’s murder … Justin interrupts. “He was innocent!” Adrienne reminds him he did not want to admit he was gay. She fears he will break Sonny’s heart just as Sami broke Rafe’s heart and Lucas’ heart and who only know who else’s ...! - EJ meets Sami at the town square, with stars in his eyes. Sami gets straight to the point. She feels terrible about the fight, which must have been about her. EJ smirks and asks who told her that! Sami concedes she might have been wrong and presses him to tell her the reason for it. He gets sarcastic about her not caring about his injuries, will only say there was testosterone flowing, and charmingly asks her to let it go. - Dr. Dan is at the nurse’s station. He leaves a message for Chad that the early wedding is a mistake. He urges him to call him soon. - Dazed Chad is about to check his message from Daniel when Sonny explains someone is taking tonight’s shift for him. Chad hopes everything is alright. Sonny grins he has a big date “I’m going out with Will!” He hopes Chad will be fine with it, given their business relationship. Chad thinks it is cool so long as they are happy. He wishes things were going well for him too. Sonny reminds him he is getting married. Chad sighs that weddings seem to bring out the worst in some people. - Will is crushed by what he has heard. Moments later, Henderson the butler returns to the foyer with the tickets. Will thanks him and departs with the two tickets. He exits with a disheartened sigh. This is a game changer ... - Back at the coffee house, Chad sits alone and goes online, looking at the creepy headlines of Mel and her genius stalker from way back when. He becomes consumed with their dark history and it seems to bring out his own dark DiMera side .... - Gabi and Mel are looking at wedding pictures together. Mel offers her a drink but Gabi notes she should get back to the pub and her work. Mel brings up that she knows Nick and went through bad stuff with Andrew. Gabi becomes uncomfortable. Mel nervously implores her to tell her if Nick ever does or says anything to make her feel nervous. Gabi wonders what she means. Mel sniffles she knows she would, for she had warned her about Andrew. Guilt-ridden Gabi suddenly decides they need to talk about what happened with Andrew ...
