| Friday, April 16, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only LOVE STORY - Replay of Brady getting rid of the paparazzi at the pub, demanding to know what the hell is going on. Ari denies Nicole's accusation that she set her up. The gals bicker. "Enough!" bellows Brady. He tells Ari not to do this. She denies she did anything. Nicole doubts it. Ari begs Brady to believe her. He does, but warns her not to to let Nicole play her. Nicole gets miffed. Brady stops her from leaving. He wants her to hear what he has to say. He does not want her to ever put him or Arianna in the middle of her drama again! They have no interest in her! Nicole, however, feels he is not done with her. Brady walks away. Ari quips she should now get it that he does not want her in his life. Ari too walks away. Along comes CC with the cameraman, advising Nicole to tell her side of the story! Nicole sadly explains she lost her own baby and then found out Sami was hiding her pregnancy. She looks straight into the camera as it continues to roll. She did it all, for the love of her husband ... That's a wrap! Roving reporter CC gets an unexpected call from her agent. Her show is moving to New York. Nicole wonders if her segment will be shown. Already was cos it was LIVE! CC asks Nicole if she really meant it when she claimed she would never commit a crime for a man. Nicole coyly replies it would depend on the man! - At the hospital, Mel announces to Nathan she cannot do this, as Phillip watches. What does she mean? She exclaims she cannot pretend all is well between them. From now on, nothing but the truth. She admits she had feelings for him when she married Phillip, though she no longer does. Now she is less self-centered and she loves her husband. Nath replies that is great. Besides, he is with Stephanie now. "Right," sadly says Mel as she forces a smile. They uncomfortably agree they have both moved on. Phil quietly departs. Nurse Maxine now summons Nath and Mel to a patient's room. Mrs. Martin has just had her appendix removed. All of a sudden, she gets a burning chest pain and code blues. Dr. Nathan is desperate to revive her. Nurse Maxine is soon on the scene. Nathan zaps her with Mel's assistance as they frantically try and make her come back. No such luck. Maxine sympathetically says it is her time. She is gone. - Phil joins Brady at the Cheatin Heart. Is he the only one, he wonders, who did not know that Melanie was going to dump him for Nathan on his wedding day! Brady is sympathetic. Phil adds Mel has assured him she loves him. Brady wonders what his choice is - to believe her or not. Phil grins. Brady thinks he has made the right choice. Phil admits no one has ever made him happier ... - At Salem Place, Rafe gets off the phone, pleased about a hot lead that could lead him to Anna DiMera. If she is found in Morocco, he will fly there to get her himself! - Sami is at Java Cafe with Ally when she gets a call. Afterwards, enter Rafe, who asks if things are okay. Sami nervously gets another sugar for her coffee. Rafe notes she seems upset. Indeed. Lucas now wants Ally to visit him in Hong Kong! Rafe wonders where Sydney is. "She spent last night with the Dimeras." Rafe appears horrified. Sami states she had no choice. Stefano is ill, so EJ was adamant and she did not wish to argue in front of the kids. Besides, Stefano is alright with the children. Rafe seems suspicious about the illness. Sami explains that EJ said the diabetes was bothering his heart and his days were numbered. Rafe thinks she was manipulated. She is not listening and assures him EJ has changed. Still, she hated leaving her kids there, not to mention she hates that Will lives there as well, on account of their fight. Rafe reminds her he is only 17 so why did she not put her foot down. He is most perplexed she is not taking charge of any situation. Sami puts the blame on Rafe and gets mad at him for criticizing her decisions. She angrily says she is a woman of fortitude and determination. He smiles and encourages her to be her. Their eyes lock and they whisper how much they miss each other, about to kiss ... Rafe pulls away. "I can't do this," he laments. Their trust issues will tear them apart again, plus now she is involved with the DiMeras and EJ ... He feels like an outsider. She cries that he is not an outsider. He cannot do this, he repeats, says he is sorry, and walks away. - At DiMera mansion, Stefano coos to Sydney that very soon she and Giovanni will live there permanently. Enter Elvis, who thinks he cannot so easily convince their mother. Stefano gestures impatiently and wonders what kind of a game he is playing now. Elvis reminds him how tough it was to get Samantha to agree to even one night. Stefano reminds him they have an agreement. Elvis alludes to the fact that he is concerned about her feelings. The phoenix wonders why he would suddenly care! Elvis claims he was thinking of the children, who get upset when she is upset. He does not want to put their mother through any more agony. Stefano reminds him HE was the one who put her through all that agony and what would she say if she found out! Elvis points out that if Sami finds out, she will get a court order and keep the children away from them all. Stefano starts to explain why he is not worried about her ... Elvis interrupts and warns him he had better not harm a single hair on her head or their deal is off! Stefano sighs. But he put her through all that pain! He does not deny it. However, Elvis now believes she is a good mother and he appreciates her compassion. Stefano shakes his head in disbelief. "My God, you really are in love with her." How could this happen! Elvis emotionally admits that he wanted to make her pay after her lies, which was why he planned to take Sydney and Johnny away. She does not belong with Hernandez. Stefano exclaims she does not belong with him, either. EJ gets teary eyed and says he does not deserve her, but he does love her. Stefano decides he does not want to lose his son. EJ hugs him and assures him that he has him as well as the children, but asks him not to make him choose between his fatha and Samantha. The phoenix is dismayed as Elvis declares he is demanding that fatha accept his decision to have her back in his life. - Ari finds Brady working at the house of Kiriakis and apologizes for what happened earlier. She should not have sunk to Nicole's level.Brady wishes she could trust in him and realize how much he loves her. She wants to. They kiss passionately. She admits that helps! Ring ring. Ari answers the phone. "Oh my God!" - Phil is drinking at the Cheatin Heart and gets a call that CC was picked up for New York. He finds out about Nicole's interview and watches it on the bar TV. His interest piqued, he smoothly calls Nicole and asks her to meet him for a drink. - Nathan and Mel console each other at the hospital over the patient's death, by sitting together . In the changing room, Mel later cries. Nath complains he should have seen it coming. Neither one is okay. - Elvis is summoned to the docks, to oversee some cargo. However, before he departs, he reminds fatha of the new situation and asks him not to tell anyone how he feels. Stefano assures him he will not get involved. "Another one of your secrets is safe with me!" he exclaims. Elvis smiles. - At the Cheatin Heart, Phil tells Nicole he saw her interview and he was impressed, not to mention how much interest she has been generating on the net. He adds CC is moving to New York. He stares at Nicole and drops a bomb. "I want you to take her place." Nicole blinks. She hopes it is not a cruel joke but Phil is all praise. "You are back baby!" They can do it on a trial basis. She is excited. What should she do? He grins she should just be herself. They toast to her success as a reporter ... - Chez Brady, Arianna finds out she has just been hired as the production assistant of the roving reporter! They kiss. She is also relieved she will not have time to think about you know who! - Down at the pier, EJ runs into Rafe, who brings up Stefano being sick. He is clearly suspicious. Elvis says it is a personal matter. FBI Rafe retorts something must be going on cos the kids were taken for a visit ... - Meanwhile, Sami arrives at the mansion to pick up Johnny and Sydney. Stefano informs her Elvis is not there and he will no doubt be sorry he missed her. He adds now she and his son are on good terms. Sami makes a snide remark. Stefano goes on to announce that his son's happiness is important to him, which is why he has something he would like to say to her ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "He didn't do anything wrong," Mel tells Lexie. "Please believe me." "I don't know what you're up to but I will find out," Rafe warns EJ. "Samantha, you have sealed your own fate!" declares the phoenix. |
