Link Only THE LITTLE THIEF and more ...! - At the house of Kiriakis, Viv reminds doomsday Gus to remember his cover - that he is the wedding coordinator, hence their contact. She feels her plan to get Chloe to eliminate Carly is sheer genius. Gus, however, has misgivings. Vivian re-asserts Chloe the little songbird will want to retaliate against Carly and pours herself a drink. Gus soon receives news from his sources. Chloe has left the apartment and gone to the hospital. Madame coos she is sure Carly is going down and she will head for the hospital to see the fireworks! - At the hospital, Chloe laments to Dan she should have known. She ruined everything ... She flashes back to her lovefest with Phil, her pretty blue eyes filled with guilt. Dan is awake and smiles at his beloved. She is so glad he had the surgery. He is so glad she is there. He wonders what she meant about ruining things. She keeps going back to the fact that she was not there for him. Chloe then finds out he did not want to tell her about the surgery so she would not get her hopes up. Carly assisted. He has been out of surgery for an hour. The opera diva realizes she did not understand his message. "God, what have I done!" He asks what she is talking about. She replies that part of his message was cut off and she misunderstood. Chloe cries she was not there for him, but she should have been! Dan is sorry for their fight. "Me too," says she. "More than you know!" He explains he had overreacted due to stress, but now all is good. Carly has heard the entire exchange. Dan embraces crying Chloe and assures her he loves her. There is no need for guilt as she is with him now! Carly must examine Daniel. Teary-eyed Chloe goes to wait outside. Out in the hall, she places a frantic call to Phil, so he does not blow their secret. She starts to leave a nervous message for him to call her and it is important, as she misunderstood what happened! Carly walks out. Chloe worries she overheard. She did partially and presumes she wants to reach Phillip to let Melanie know about the surgery. Chloe shakily laments she was not there. If she had not been so paranoid ... Carly remarks she is rattled. Chloe brings up her and Daniel's fight. Carly still wonders what is upsetting her so much. Chloe sadly says she is trying to understand what happened. Carly thinks she should be optimistic about the surgery results ... - Chez Phil and Mel, he laments he wishes he had known how she felt before ... Before? She wonders if it is too late, he no longer wants her. She mournfully says he will leave her now, as she was unfaithful in her heart, with Nath. She repeats Phil is the only one for her and criticizes herself for unfaithful thoughts, though she was not unfaithful physically, which would be unforgivable! Phil tells her to stop and sighs she has done nothing wrong. Mel claims she has been awful, while he has been wonderful. Phil admits he made a huge mistake.What mistake, she asks. Ring ring! He does not answer. He would rather discuss them. He admits he made a huge mistake he will regret for the rest of his life. He sighs he will start at the beginning. He earlier saw her and Nathan kissing. She is sorry. He praises her for telling him about it. And now he should also be honest with her. "Completely." When he saw her kiss Nath, he assumed the worst. He was angry and hurt and had a few drinks, after which he did something stupid. She assumes he drove drunk and blames herself. He assures her that was not it. Mel hugs him. She does not know what would happen if she lost him. Ring ring! Tis Carly calling Mel with good news. Papa Dan had laser surgery on his eyes. He is doing great in post op and they are hoping his double vision will go away. Mel would like to see him. Carly explains Chloe is with the sleeping patient now but Mel can drop by for a visit. Mel thanks her and updates Phil. Papa Dan is still in hospital and Chloe is with him. Phil hastily follows Mel upon hearing that Chloe is there! - At the hospital, Vivian lurks, imagining how Chloe will kill Carly. She daydreams of a stabbing, then smiles as the elevator opens. Enter Phil and Mel. Mel thanks Dr. Carly profusely for what she has done for her dad. Viv grumbles what is Carly doing there, and all in one piece! Mel and Phil head to Dan's room. Father and daughter are glad to see each other. Chloe and Phil exchange a guilty glance. Daniel informs Mel they are waiting to see if his double vision has been entirely corrected. He can see his daughter has been crying. Did something upset her? Chloe looks nervously at Phil. Dan would like to know what is going on. Mel stops Phil and Chloe from leaving and explains to Daniel that she and Phillip had an intense discussion in which some hurtful things were said. Chloe, assuming the worst, exclaims she is sorry and begs for forgiveness! - At the nurse's station, Maxine and Carly recall Chloe calling Carly a miserable b*tch. Vivian strolls up to Carly and leers rumor has it that she has wrecked another home! - Chez Sami, Will stops her from walking out the door. Johnny has had a bad dream. Sami cuddles the tyke and he shouts that he wants his daddy now! Sami later gets him back to sleep. She confides in Will that Johnny seems to be more comfortable with EJ. Perhaps it is a phase he is going through. Will suspects Johnny is just upset by the back and forth. Sami acknowledges it is hard for both kids, as well as herself. She sighs if she were with Sydney more, maybe she would finally call her mama. She only did it once, though Will has heard her say it to Nicole. She needs to deal with that as Sydney adjusts to her new life. It is hard ... Will asks what she is saying. Sami admits EJ is right, it is not good for the kids to be shuttled around. Will tells her it would still be a terrible idea to move into DiMera mansion. Sami points out he lives there - even if only to get away from her. Will wonders how she could live there as she hates the head of the household. Sami remarks Stefano and Will are not exactly pals. However, she still wants to get hold of EJ to discuss and departs ... - Down on the pier, Baker cannot believe Hope is talking about killing a DiMera! "I''m not just talking," says she, pointing the gun at unconscious EJ! Baker insists she stop, she cannot do this. Hope steps over EJ and offers the doc the gun. "You're right, but you can." She adds he can get rid of the threat. Baker thinks she is one crazy dame! EJ starts to stir so she knocks him back out with a kick to the head,smiling. Doctor Baker checks the unconscious DiMera and notes he will need stitches, MRI. She asks what the prognosis is. He replies that will depend on her and walks away. Hope bends down and casually removes EJ's wallet after tossing his phone aside. She then stands up and her footsteps are heard leaving the scene of the crime. She goes back to the seedy poker room and finds Baker there, picking up his phone. He assumes she has killed EJ DiMera and calls her a lunatic b*tch. Hope calmly pulls her gun on him. He had better do what she says. She pulls the trigger. BLANK. "Gotcha." Baker exclaims who does she think she is and calls her a little thief. She asks him to take a seat. She suggests a partnership. She will pick targets - only men - and they will knock them out and rob them. They deserve it anyway! She lets Baker take half the money from the stolen wallet, gets it back, and walks out, drawling she will be in touch. But unbeknownst to Hope, the undead doc has also lifted EJ's bank card! - Sami walks on the pier and stumbles upon unconscious EJ. She rushes to his side, horrified. She revives him, though there is blood gushing from his head. He moans somebody hit him. She asks if he saw who it was. He thinks he saw someone and tries to remember who. No one will get away with this! He cannot concentrate well and moans in pain. Sami, meanwhile, rummages in her bag for her phone and tries to keep him still. She cannot find her phone or his and deduces she must leave to get help. EJ looks up at her and asks her not to go. Their eyes lock. - Back in her elegant bedroom at Kiriakis mansion, Hope happily places Baker's wallet in her pretty box, shoves it under the bed, and goes back to sleep. The box contains the wallets of men she has robbed! - Baker, meanwhile, is in a hurry to use the limey bastard's bank card before he wakes up and remembers the last face he saw! - Out at the pier, EJ is determined to get up and slurs he must find the person who did this. Sami tries to stop him. He starts to sit up, then falls back in her arms, as their faces hover less than an inch away from each other ... Next on Days of Our Lives Chloe faces Dan. "You need to hear the truth." Rafe drawls to Stefano. "I know the real reason that EJ wants Sami back!" Sami leans over EJ, who has slipped back into unconsciousness, begs him not to die, and starts CPR! |
