| Tuesday, April 27, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only A SECRET COMES OUT and more ...! - At the hospital, Carly is baffled why Viv thinks she ruined someone's happiness. Viv leers soon everyone will know she is responsible for the destruction of Chloe's life! Carly says it is not her concern, but Chloe was upset due to an argument she had with Daniel. Viv insists she is a home wrecker! - Meanwhile, Dan and Mel wonder what Chloe requires forgiveness for. She flashes back to her very passionate encounter with Phil. Chloe soon realizes they do not know. Phil touches his mouth. Chloe declares Daniel needs to hear the truth. Dan drawls to lay it on him. Phil approaches Mel and gives Chloe an intense look. She covers by claiming she told Phil of their fight, which made him upset, too. Mel kisses Phil she is sorry. Dan is sorry too and thanks Phil for being there for his beloved. He grins now it is all good. Phil holds Mel and smiles all their problems worked out. Chloe's eyes are filled with guilt. Phil suggests he and Chloe head to Java Cafe, to give Mel and Dan some time alone. Dan kisses cringing Chloe and tells her not to worry. They say they love each other. Exit Phil and Chloe. Out in the hall, Phil advises her not to say a word until they are alone, then steps away to take a business call from Shanghai. Madame Viv watches as Chloe tells Carly she is sorry for what she had said earlier and thanks her for saving Dan's career. She is a terrific friend. Madame Viv shakes her head in dismay. This was not the plan! - Back in Dan's room, Mel updates him on Phil seeing the goodbye kiss from Nath, which he thought was maybe a hello kiss. Then he vanished but she has since explained he is the guy for her. She thinks he believes her and it made their marriage stronger. She has papa Dan to thank for that. He thinks she did it on her own, by being honest. She has Maggie to thank for that. Mel points out he too is honest and open. He admits he is no saint and he has made his share of mistakes. She hopes one of them was a good mistake. He assures his daughter that she is no mistake! - Steph and Nath chow down at the Cheatin Heart. He assumes she is having a great time, cos a certain someone is not there. Melanie. Nath explains he knows what was in the letter - that she would leave Phil if he were interested, but now she and Phil are 100%, just as he is 100% over her! He announces Mel is not in his head and heart, but Steph sure is! Along comes Adrienne. Nath asks about Justin and is happy to hear he is recovered. He steps to the bar for another beer and Adrienne sits down opposite Steph. She is pleased he looks at Steph so adoringly now. She asks about Melanie. Steph smiles that drama played itself out. Nath only has eyes for her. Adrienne is glad to hear it. Steph asks about her and Justin. Adrienne laments there is no hope there. Nathan comes back with more beer, then gets paged by the hospital. Alone again with her niece, Adrienne teases Steph she has got it bad. Steph is convinced that he is the one! She adds that in her opinion, Adrienne and Justin are soulmates. Adrienne sadly says she let him get away and suggests Steph not make the same mistake. She walks away when Nathan returns. The young doc informs his girl he must go to the hospital, gives her a kiss, and heads off. Adrienne notes her niece is glowing. Steph knows he does not yet love her the same way she loves him, though she believes they are on their way .... - Stefano has summoned Rafe to the mansion, to discuss Samantha living there. Rafe drawls it is her business. Stefano quips does he not love her anymore! Rafe finds it curious that the phoenix would ask him over at this late hour, to pose such a question. He presumes Stefano wants to know if he will make trouble. He will not. Stefano speaks of considering everyone's feelings. Rafe finds it strange that EJ would want to live there with him and bring Sami and the kids, considering the bad blood. Stefano talks of family. Rafe gets sarcastic. They saunter into the living room, where Stefano pours himself a drink. Rafe suspiciously wonders about EJ's 180, despite his father's so-called illness. What was the real reason his son forgave him? The phoenix lights a cigar. T'was for the sake of the children. Both he and Elvis agree Samantha is an unfit mother, who lies at the drop of a hat. They will keep an eye on her there, just to protect the kids. Rafe takes it all in, then claims he knows the real reason Elvis wants Sami back. Stefano continues to smoke his cigar. Rafe feels Sami will not stay longer than a day. He adds the protect the children story does not fly with him as EJ was already living with the children at Sami's. Bottom line is, he knows Stefano has somehing on EJ and wants to know what! - Down at the pier, Elvis whispers to Sami that he needs her, then slips into unconsciousness. She screams for help numerous times. She holds his face, fearing the worst. "No, EJ! No, EJ!" His eyes remain closed. Sami is frantic. She starts CPR and gives him mouth-to-mouth, crying for help. He finally breathes and coughs. Sami is elated and assures him he will be alright as he opens his eyes. He starts to get up, then falls back in her arms. Their lips meet and they proceed to kiss. Sirens are heard. EJ falls back asleep. A cop comes along and tells her the ambulance will come. Sami holds EJ and gasps he will be okay. - Baker sits with EJ's bank card and reminds himself all that money is just sitting there. He calls his buddy Santos, to do some hacking for a bank pin number. When Santos hears the name Elvis DiMera, he has second thoughts, but Baker makes the offer sweet by offering him a 50/50 cut. Baker later calls the bank with the PIN, to wire those funds into his account! - At Java Cafe, Phil and Chloe agree they made a mistake. Chloe wants to find out just who was feeding her lies about Daniel and Carly, but, of course, no one can find out about her and Phil's fling. Enter Carly. She is on a break. Phil excuses himself to get back to Mel and does just that, taking his coffee with him. Concerned Carly remarks Chloe seems upset. "Is everything okay?" - At the hospital, Phil soon joins Daniel in his room. The two men are alone. Dan grins Phil comes close to being perfect for his daughter. He suddenly gets serious and adds if he hurts his little girl, he will break his neck! - At the house of Kiriakis, Viv laments to Gus that her plan has backfired and she does not want him to tell her he told her so! Gus warns her those people she paid will point the finger at her! Vivian is determined not to let that happen. She goes thru different scenarios. What if Chloe pays those same people for the truth? She holds up a finger, having had an epiphany. "I've nailed it!" she declares to Gus. - Frantic Sami arrives at the hospital with EJ on a gurney. She tells Doc Lexie that he was attacked, like Justin. EJ feebly reaches for her hand, whispering "Samantha." He later wakes up in a private room, his head hurting. What happened? Sami is sitting at his side and explains he was attacked. He does not remember anything other than her being there. "You saved me. Thank you." She teases that he already showed her his gratitude ... but it seems he has no recollection of their kiss! Sami sighs. He asks her to elaborate. How did he show his gratitude? - Back at the mansion, Stefano repeats to Rafe that he and Elvis are family. He is interrupted by a call from Lexie. EJ was attacked and is in hospital with a concussion! This conversation is over, growls the phoenix! Stefano is on his way ...He soon arrives and is told by Lexie that EJ was attacked, like what happened to the D.A. and Justin. She is so upset. The phoenix advises her to stay strong. He is not pleased to hear that Sami is with his son, though he appreciates her saving his life. He is livid at the mayor and Brady police force for being so incompetent. Whoever this criminal is, he will regret the day he crossed paths with the DiMeras! - Back at Java Cafe, Carly assumes Chloe is still shaken up about her argument with Dan. She assures Chloe that Dan loves her and then gets paged back to the hospital. Exit Carly. Moments later, Chloe walks out of the cafe and calls Phil to thank him. He reminds her to keep things zipped up tight. Chloe agrees Daniel can never find out about the fact that they slept togther or it would be the end of her! Nath walks up behind her and his expression indicates he overheard! He and Chloe face each other ... - Back at the hospital, Rafe silently pokes his head into EJ's private room, where doting Sami sits with a smile on her face. She tells EJ that she was worried. After all, how would she explain it to their children if anything happened to him? EJ tenderly touches her cheek and promises her that he is not going anywhere. She thinks that is the best news she has had all week. They smile at each other. Rafe hangs his head and departs .... Next on Days of Our Lives Kate explains to Will, "I don't have a problem with Chad Woods, but I do have a problem with his parents!" Chad's mother shakes her head. "The DiMeras could ruin everything!" "When you find out why I'm here, you're probably going to get out of that bed and throw me out!" Ari tells EJ. |
