| Friday, April 9, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER! - At the hospital, Chloe approaches Dan with his pills. Mel gushes to Phil about the surgery and they walk off. Chloe is surprised Dan failed to tell her Carly would do the surgery. Carly thanks him. Chloe now coolly suggests they go to his office to talk. Along comes Viv, who coos how odd to see Carly without a man! Carly stares her down and asks if she is sick. Madame Viv claims she awaits Victor, who is in a board meeting. Does she not feel vulnerable without Bo around? Viv goes on to make a remark about her Lawrence feeling the same way before he had a knife plunged into him. Dan steps forward and warns he might have Viv get that psychiatric evaluation! She must never bother another staff member on duty or he will call security! Carly assures Dan that she knows Vivian will behave so he should just go talk to Chloe. Chloe and Dan stroll off together. Vivian laughs it is like Bo has an understudy for the role of the knight in shining armor! Carly warns her to shut up and listen! She can take care of herself. After all, she did deal with Lawrence. She alludes to the fact that she could kill her! Mel complains to Phil about the look Chloe gave Carly. Maybe she felt left out when she saw their family together. She gets sarcastic so Phil asks her to cut Chloe some slack. Mel agrees but she still thinks Chloe has a problem with Carly. They return in time to hear Carly snap at Vivian it is time to go! Phillip seconds the motion. Madame Viv scurries off. Mel is impressed with Carly's toughness She also hopes she will put in a word for her so she can rejoin the nursing program. Carly is elated and hugs her. Viv watches from around the corner. - Nath finds Steph playing pool at the Cheatin Heart, on a date with a guy who has been promoted. The eager sales rep has concert tickets for him and Steph Friday. Nathan insists Steph will be busy that night! He gets rid of the guy and Steph is most miffed.Nath explains the guy is a prescription drug addict. He was worried about her. Steph brings up that Nath cannot get over Melanie, but in time people can fall for someone else, the way she and Phillip did. He still thinks she is special. She assures him she is not fragile. He invites her to a concert. She accepts and they start to kiss. - At the station, Roman finds Sami feeling sorry for herself. She laments how and why she got mad at Will, who moved out. Roman is not at all impressed to hear that EJ is staying with her and she lied to the cops to give Rafe an alibi! She sighs he must be mad at her too. Roman admits he had hoped things would be peaceful once Sydney was back.He points out EJ is at the root of all her problems. She retorts he has changed. Roman states DiMeras don't change! Sami disagrees. He agonized with her when Sydney was missing. Roman reminds her that Rafe was not exactly a disinterested bystander. Sami is more comfortable with EJ, for accepting her as she is. Roman acknowledges no one should have to go through what she did, but she should not forget the things EJ has done. Sami is convinced he has changed and has forgiven her for Grace. Roman retorts DiMeras never forgive. Sami declares it is best for her childern to have a good relationship with their bio-father, regardless of how it drives Roman crazy, and departs. - At DiMera mansion, replay of Elvis' admission of guilt, Stefano warning he will regret it. The phoenix tells him the kidnapping alone is enough for Samantha to get control of the children and a restraining order against him. Elvis claims he will not allow him to get that dvd to the authorities and he will stop him by any means necessary! Stefano drawls they are at an impasse. EJ drawls he responds to his moves. Stefano calmly says he could hand over Anna's confession or he could defy him. Elvis dares him to try cos he will not allow that dvd to leave the room. Stefano implies he has another copy and could pick up the phone. Elvis takes a drink and says he will not do that if he is dead! The phoenix cannot believe that he would kill his own father. Elvis yells he took his child already and he will not let him do it again! He cannot believe he would give his child to a woman he hates. Stefano looks at Sydney's picture and sadly questions whether the kind of man EJ has proven himself to be should even have children! Elvis approaches and declares he is not his father! In fact, he wishes he could go back to the past, when he did not even know his was his fatha. Stefano sighs he does not understand what happened to him. But he must do what is best for his family. EJ picks up a letter opener and frowns he will stop him. Stefano's thug steps into the room and his boss assures him they are just having a conversation. Once they are left alone again, Stefano looks at the letter opener his son is holding. - Down at the pier, Madeline Woods has a nice chat with Gaby and asks her not to assume Chad feels the same way as his father, for he defended Rafe! Gaby is pleased. Chad repeats his belief Rafe could not have done it. He could not have attacked Charles Woods. - At Java Cafe, Kate explains to Will that she would like his moving in to be his decision. Any second thoughts? No. He cannot handle living with his mom. However, he fears he might not be able to see Sydney anymore once she gets wind of his new living arrangement. Kate assures him he will be able to work things out with his mother. Will wonders what EJ is up to. Kate admits she feels sorry for EJ and Stefano. Will expresses his belief that something feels off. Later, Chad, Madeline, and Gaby enter. Gaby is happy to hear Mrs. Woods wants to help Rafe.As Madeline waits at a table, she and Kate see each other and exchange an unpleasantly surprised glance. Gaby departs and Chad sits with his mother. Madeline calls Gaby a lovely woman. Kate exits as Chad greets her. Mom Madeline looks nervous. She adds since his friend Will is moving into the DiMera mansion, she hopes he will stay away as he does not need any dealings with the DiMeras. Kate stares at her through the window before leaving. - At the pub, Dan explains to Chloe why Carly should stay with them while Bo is away. Or they could move into Bo's. Chloe tensely agrees she can move in with them. Dan assures her he loves her and she need not feel threatened. She questions the timing, as he was seriously injured. He thinks they need to let Vivian see someone is looking out for Carly, given what just happened. He gets paged away as Father Matt enters.The kindly priest greets Chloe. He dropped by to see Caroline, who is away. He has plans to say a special mass for Kimberly. He refers to Chloe's wedding and then notes something is wrong.She updates him on Daniel's request that Carly stay with them. Father Matt thinks he is not considering how Chloe feels. Chloe now states her belief that he does not see Carly as the "manipulative b*tch" she really is! Matt advises her to have an honest talk with Daniel, suggests she call him to let him know how it goes, and leaves. Chloe sarcastically mutters what will she say to Dan - that she hates Carly's stupid guts? Vivian happens along and smiles. "Welcome to the club, Chloe!" - Will heads back to Sami's and lets her know he is moving in with Kate. Sami's face falls. She says over her dead body. Will is not listening and walks out with his packed bags. - Phil and Mel head home and he asks her if she wishes to be his new TV reporter. She declines. Working at the hospital would help her to get close to Dan as well as Carly. They kiss and she thanks him for understanding. - Back at DiMera mansion, Stefano approaches EJ and implores him "Elvis." The heir apparent tosses the letter opener aside and sits down. Stefano places a hand on his shoulder. EJ clutches his arm. As he cries, papa Stefano assures him he will always love him. In bursts Sami, giving the phoenix an accusing look. "What the hell do you think you're doing!" Next on Days of Our Lives "You need to face this head on and fight back!" Nicole tells Chloe. Carly exclaims Hope drives her nuts, to which Hope retorts "Do I? Good!" Stefano addresses Sami and EJ. "The future is about to begin!" |
