She and Kate bare their verbal claws at each other but the production guy has other fish to fry, given that they are missing an actor and time is money in showbiz! His attention turns to Anna and he decides she would be perfect for his shoot. Kate is miffed. Anna is taken to makeup. When she returns, she and Kate say their lines together and then start a silly, humorous fight. The camera is rolling. Kate is mad afterwards but Tony is mesmerized and asks Anna for dinner at Chez Rouge … JOHN BLACK AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX At the DiMera mansion, Marlena asks John if she can use his computer. He is gonna need something in return, he says, and grabs her for a kiss. Enter Sami and EJ. John voices his displeasure about the interruption. Sami is impressed that he calls Marlena doc. Old John is back, she announces. This news does not bode well with Dr. Manservant Rolf who drops his tray! As it turns out, old John is still not back in the building, but New John already has some redecorating ideas. Time to get rid of the phoenix portrait! Rolf refuses to take it down. John saunters over and discovers the portrait conceals a secret safe! Rolf claims he does not have the combination. No matter. All John needs is doc’s stethoscope and then he cracks open the safe. It contains documents galore and … John discovers the disk, which he intends to examine later. His attention turns to Sami and EJ. What do they want now? For John and Marlena to testify at EJ’s Immigration hearing. He scoffs but agrees. Sami admits to Marlena that EJ and her feel more and more like a couple and he is a good father. The gang depart. Meanwhile, Dr. Rolf lurks behind, more than ever worried that John will learn what is on the disk and he will be kaput! WISEGUYS Mob boss Martino Vitali has his associates take care of Earl. It is clear Martino is a man of no mercy. He then calls Kate, his former fav call girl. Kate tells him she has gone legit but agrees to meet for a drink – as old friends. Meanwhile, as Ava continues to suffer withdrawal effects, Kayla, now her self-appointed doc, lets her know that her doctor had prescribed her anti-seizure medicine which caused her personality disturbances. Steve finds out that after he left Ava, she had tried to kill herself. Moments later, Ava begs Steve to get her outta there and throws another fit. All of a sudden an ominous presence fills the room. Martino Vitali steps forward and introduces himself as her father … Thursday, May 1, 2008 SICKO At the hospital, Chelsea daydreams about Dr. Dan. Bo sees Dan in the hall. Dan explains Chelsea is now discharged (finally!). They both head over to let her know the good news. Hope wants to know why Dan is no longer her doctor. He bolts. Hope is suspicious. Dan soon returns and tells Chels they will still be friends, but then mutters to himself that the same thing shouldn’t happen again! Lexie, who has just gotten back from seeing Abe at the pub again, notices. Chelsea goes home with Bo and Hope. Meanwhile, Dan makes arrangements to depart Salem for Australia ... REAL GENIUS At the pub, Nick is hard at work on calculations. Max appears and wants to hear all about it. He has a go at it himself and comes up with a different answer. Nick realizes he’d made a mistake. He then gets a call and leaves to see Chelsea, who is at Bo and Hope’s place. He shows up with flowers and Chelsea acts grateful for his attention but how long will it last …? MAFIA PRINCESS Restrained Ava becomes increasingly outta control in her room, demanding to see Patch, having a fit. She screams for daddy to come on down and kill ‘em all! Meanwhile, Patch is at home with Kayla and Stephanie, discussing the importance of staying safe. Steph hardly hears him and confides to Kayla that she be in love! Kayla approves of Max. Patch heads for the hospital, sits himself down in the now sedated Ava’s room, and quietly tells her he’s sorry for everything. Steph soon shows up and tells her off so Kayla gets her outta there. Enter Abe, ready to interrogate. Ava refuses to cooperate and vows daddy will save her. Abe couldn’t care less but Patch knows what a dangerous dude Martino Vitali is. It’s all about death and destruction. Meanwhile, the results of Ava’s drug tests are in and Kayla is shocked … Wednesday, April 30, 2008 AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN Abe is at the police station, performing his duties with a phone convo to the D.A. No John Black evidence, precious little against Paul Hollingsworth, who is slated to appear before a grand jury. Enter Lexie, who is there to see her man. They discuss Chelsea’s sad state and how lucky they are to have Theo. Salem’s top law enforcement officer than asks his wife out for dinner. They go to the pub and talk about the stress of their jobs. They need more time for each other … SICKO Also at the pub is Daniel, drowning his sorrows as Chelsea mopes in her hospital room. Kate chides him for not monitoring Chelsea. He tells her he’s off her case. Kate wants answers. Dr. Dan ain’t forthcoming. Meanwhile, Chelsea finds out her doc has left the building and calls him up to ask what’s going on. He tells her he’s no longer her doc and gave her case to Lexie. Chelsea gets off the phone and calls pal Stephanie, who is having a lovefest with Max in his cheap room above the pub. Chelsea is devastated over losing Doc Dan and wonders if it’s cos he thinks she’s damaged goods. Stephanie and Max head downstairs, where, much to Max’s chagrin, big angry Steph confronts the boozer doc. Back at the hospital, good old reliable boyfriend Nick consoles Chelsea about her predicament. LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON While talking on his cell phone at the pub, Tony collides with Anna and admits he has much on his mind as he is worried about Kate. Anna wants to know if he is involved with the temptress. Tony assures her no, he loves her and only has eyes for her. Anna loves him too. They kiss and make up! Kate waltzes over and Tony tells her how in the commercial they shoot, she will be like Martha Stewart. Anna tells Tony she has a new account, too. Kate departs for a moment to speak with Lexie and finds out Dan believed he’d become too emotionally involved in Chelsea’s case. Meanwhile, Anna tells Tony that John Black is a new client of hers and gets tight lipped. Tony smoothly suggests they end this competition between them. Anna suggests they discuss it over dinner. Kate then returns for her meeting with Tony. Tony, as it turns out, cannot take Anna out for dinner now. Business with Kate calls. And Anna is mad mad mad! Tuesday, April 29, 2008 CONFLICT At the pub, Sami and EJ practice for his Immigration hearing but Sami has other things on her mind – namely the shocking news about Brady! Enter John and Marlena. Sami tells all. As it turns out, Vic is at the pub as well, so the angry family give him a piece of their mind. John accuses him of playing God … Meanwhile, prodigal son Phil is at the police station, telling Abe that Chloe is en route to Switzerland to see Brady. His loyalty is clear when he also informs Roman that he wants to make sure that Chloe will not be able to press charges against Victor! In fact, as Abe later explains, Brady is refusing to say anything against grandpa Vic so there is no case. Voila. Satisfied, Phil heads for the pub, where he takes Victor aside. Victor lets him know that even Brady did not want his problem known, hence his silence. Phil is still somewhat displeased. All of a sudden, John gets a call. He has been summoned by the police for questioning. Phil decides to follow him down there, in case it’s about Hollingsworth. At the police station, Morgan is made to wait outside as arrogant Hollingsworth must deal with Abe and Roman. John arrives and does his best to vouch for Paul’s professionalism. He denies any bribery. Enter Phillip, who implies John and Hollingsworth conspired. Paul tells John the cops offered him a deal if he ratted him out. Level headed New John wants to see the evidence the cops have but there doesn’t seem to be any. Hollingsworth leaves. Morgan gives Phil a piece of her mind! Just before John saunters out, he has a vague memory. Marlena later informs him that once upon a time, he worked at the police station. Back at the pub, both John and Marlena get a call through to Brady. All seems to be well. At the hospital, Bo is livid about Chelsea’s condition, while Hope tries to make her feel better. Chelsea defends Dr. Dan, but later the good doc confides to Lexie that he thinks he has become too emotionally involved with his young patient. Time to resign … Monday, April 28, 2008 LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD Nicole fills Chloe in on the deets concerning Brady. Nicole’s PI found out he was in drug rehab in Switzerland and Vic was footing the bill! Chloe admits Brady had become a junkie. Enter Victor, who blames Chloe for everything! Chloe sadly explains her drug loving artsy friends got him hooked. Victor is harsh. Phil is stunned and eventually leaves with Chloe, who does not approve of the Greek tycoon’s meddling. She and Phil head to the police station, where she wants to get her passport back, not to mention file charges against Victor! At the Salem P.D., an angry Ava has been brought in, warning who her dangerous daddy is. Abe gets a phone call that Stephanie has gone missing. They ask Ava to cooperate. She refuses and demands her daddy and a lawyer. All of a sudden, she has a convulsion. Meanwhile, Stephanie has been taken to a warehouse by the Vitali henchman. Max is soon hot on their trail and tells the guy it’s over, the cops are coming. Stephanie gets away, sirens are heard, and the thug splits but the cops soon nab him. Patch and Kayla arrive on scene. The happy group go back to the pub. Max is the man of the hour. At the DiMera mansion, EJ insists to Sami that he loves baby Johnny and baby Aly equally. He also reminds Sami that they will soon have to prove to Immigration that their relationship is the real deal. Sami does her best to help but then gets irate when she remembers that Nicole is his client. Moments later, enter Nicole. She wants to talk to her lawyer. Sami is annoyed but perks up when Nicole announces she told Vic’s secret. Nicole tells all about Brady’s drug addiction. ZACK PAYBACK? At the hospital, Bo and Hope reunite with Chelsea and Victor arrives on scene, chiding Bo for taking on the mob without him. Dr. Dan soon has some sad news for the family – due to her infection, Chelsea’s fallopian tubes have been damaged and she will never bear children … DaysCafe.com |
