Aftermath of the Explosions ... - Replay of scenes of the daysaster wreaking havoc in Salem town. Abigail promises Jack a dance and then goes to the elevator alone. Cam turns back for her shawl. Madison is face to face with Ian, who pretends he has done nothing wrong. Brady hugs crying Mel in the tunnel and she insists they go back for pal Gabi. Gabi is with unconscious Andrew when Chad arrives and wants to kill him. He demands to know where Mel is. At the warehouse, Roman warns he will shoot. Sami tells EJ to run. Underground, Brady and Mel come around the corner. Nearby Andrew slyly advises Chad to ask Gabi where Mel is. Kaboom! More explosions hit. Sami hangs onto EJ, about to fall from the warehouse platform. The ballroom has become a nightmare of shattered glass, debris, and fireballs. Nicole screams for Dan to look out as the windows blow, the massive chandelier starts to fall. At the warehouse, Sami screams as EJ tries to hang onto her hands. Guests are sent flying across the ballroom. And so the daysaster of 2012 continues ... - John opens his eyes in the darkness and sits up. The whole place has collapsed. Bo and doc are nearby. John gets to his gasping wife. The blonde is rather shaken. Their faces are covered in soot. - EJ is losing his grip on Sami in the darkness as the explosions rock the warehouse. She cries like a desperate child. He hangs onto her for dear life. - Nicole has been cruelly covered by a mound of debris. She whimpers for someone to save her. Above, Dan stands up amid the debris and calls out her name. Jack and Jen embrace. Supercops Bo and Hope are in rescue mode. They will cordon off the area and help the injured to safety. Kate is dazed and asks John and Marlena whether they have seen Ian or Lucas. Negative. John is very worried about Brady and Samantha. Marlena prays they will be okay but Kate has decided to go searching for her loved ones. John hugs Marlena, who wonders what that was. Jack and Jen wonder where Abigail is. Cam comes limping out and they all race to the elevator. Abigail is alone inside and relieved to hear their voices. She cannot get out as the doors are stuck. Jack and Cam attempt to pry them open without success. - Outside, Hope and Bo comes across Roman, who points to where they all were and then collapses. Meanwhile, EJ yells not to look down and urges Samantha to just look at him. "I am not going to let you die!" he dramatically declares. The explosions continue and he wants to swing her up with her help. She cries she will fall. He promises he has her and urges her to be strong. One two three. Sami flails and one of her hands come loose. "EJ!" she screams. - Ian slowly stands up next to Madison, who is lying in shattered glass, not moving. He begs her to open her eyes and touches her, but there is much blood. - Chad blinks and realizes Andrew is gone. Gabi is sorry. Chad wants to get to Mel and hopes that Gabi can walk. She would like a minute. Chad recalls how Andrew said to ask her where Mel was, but why??? Not far off, Brady climbs out from the rubble and wants to get Mel out of the treacherous tunnel but her foot does not make it easy. He promises to somehow get her out. He bandages the foot and she does her best to be brave. Mel, however, fears another explosion will hit. They need to get out! Brady remarks they are trapped, as their tunnel has caved in on both sides. - At the pub, Dr. Kayla and Will watch over unconscious Roman, who appears to be in shock. Bo and Hope wish to keep rescuing those who are trapped. Kayla asks Will to stay and help. He agrees and holds a bandage on Roman's head, as instructed. John now arrives and carries in unconscious Lucas, who also needs medical care. - Back at the ballroom from hell, Daniel now hears Nicole and urges her to stay calm. She cries she is going into labor. Dan proceeds to dig his way through to her. He shoves the debris aside and advises her to be strong for her baby. He wants her to focus on holding her baby and keeps shoving broken boards aside. She panics she is having contractions. How often? Every 10 minutes. He notes it could be anything, perhaps even stress. Nicole cries she was having them before the explosion, too. The medicine man’s eye are filled with grave concern. She knows it is too early for her to have contractions. "I will get you out of here," the doc promises. Enter Bo, ready to lend a hand. The two strong men move the heavy debris together. - Outside the pub, John tells Marlena he loves her. She loves him more. He roguishly drawls that is not possible. His plan is to continue searching for survivors. Dr. Marlena will stay behind and help those in need. Inside, Will helps Kayla with Lucas, who has lost a great deal of blood from a cut. Kate is at his side, still wondering about Ian, whom no one has seen. Groggy Lucas comes to, with Sami on his mind. She is still back in the warehouse and he wants to go find her. However, he is too weak so Will springs into action. - At the warehouse, the electric sizzles and snaps. Sami implores EJ to let her go and save himself so the kids will at least have one of them. He cries. She cries she cares about him. He knows. She insists he let her go but still he hangs on and groans. - Jen encourages Abigail to hold on, but she is terrified the elevator is rocking. What if the cable snaps? Jack asks her to look up and find the hatch. He wants her to reach up and open it. She gasps she cannot reach it and besides things have fallen on it, like the roof was caving in. Jack turns around, a strange expression on his face. His hand is shaking and he regains control of himself, fighting the urge to panic. He decides they will approach from the floor above. Mama Jen will stay behind as Jack and Cam start to leave. All of a sudden, the elevator falls a few meters and a flame sends smoke spiraling inside. Cam grabs the fire extinguisher and puts out the flame. Jack hyperventilates. Jen holds him and asks him to take a deep breath. He does and Jen insists their daughter will be fine. He gasps there is smoke and she could be burning. Jen explains it is out now. He gasps it was like a bomb as the horrors of war come back to him. Jen insists they will be fine and reminds him that Abigail needs her father. Jack takes a deep breath. - Ian yells for help, Madison in his arms, but the survivors run out. He calls them cowards and implores Madison to stay with him. Help is on the way. "Help?" she whispers weakly. Sirens are heard. He cries they will be together. She is his sweet girl, the only woman he has ever loved. Kate stands behind in black and silently watches the scene. Ian continues to address dying Madison. He regrets how badly he treated her and says so. "You deserved a better man. I'm going to be a better man." He adds he loves her and not Kate. In fact, he was only using Kate to get close to the DiMera fortune. Great things await them! Kate listens in the darkness, shocked and angered. - Gabi explains to Chad that she had been down there with Mel, which is what Andrew must have been referring to. He wants to know how she was. Lightheaded but otherwise fine. Chad is desperate to find his girl. Meanwhile, Brady is still with Mel, unable to find a way out. He hopes his beloved Madison is alright. Mel wants to go home. Brady assures her Chad will come. Mel gets upset about Andrew. Brady notes the loon is gone and Chad will come. Everything will be alright. He holds her close. - EJ refuses to let Sami go but the wires are popping more. Sparks fly. The situation appears dire, until Will rushes in. The strong young man pulls EJ as he pulls Sami. She finally gets her arms around EJ's shoulders and is lifted to safety, but more problems await ... Read Part 2 of Days Comes ROARING Back ...! |
