Tuesday, August 14, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! posted on August 13 early afternoon est HEROES! - At the devastated ballroom of rubble, Dan and Bo work frantically to reach Nicole. The doc is concerned she is no longer answering. Hope rejoins them and sighs it is too soon for her to be in labor. Dan wants the rescue squad stat. Hope assures him they will be there soon. All of a sudden, debris falls onto Dan and knocks him to the ground! - Replay of Jack the wildman leaping into action to rescue Abigail. Cam is holding the elevator door, which is closing fast. The dangerous shaking starts again. Jen begs her daughter to stand up. The door shuts and the girl gasps they are trapped. Jack holds his daughter. On the outside, Cam insists he and Jen get the doors open again. Inside, Abigail wishes she had waited to give Theo his book back. Jack admits her timing is off, yet she is not to blame. It is a Devereaux thing. He promises her they will indeed get out. She wonders if he really believes it. Jack pauses. He jumps up to reach the exit above them, inadvertently causing the elevator to fall more. Abigail panics she does not want to die and hyperventilates. He urges her to shake it off and stops jumping. He promises her that her story will not end here. She will have a wonderful life. She cries doubtfully. Papa Jack comforts her in his arms and explains that fathers happen to know such things. - At the pub, groggy Commissioner Roman updates Marlena and Kayla on what happened. "Sami ... my God!" he gasps. They do not let him stand up. Marlena is certain that Will and Lucas will manage to find her. Kayla is upset to hear Lucas ran off, given the blood he lost. He is risking his life going after her! Meanwhile, Lucas gets closer to his destination, calls out for Sami, and goes down. Back at the pub, Roman laments to Marlena that Sami could be in grave danger that has nothing to do with the explosions. He was not at the event, as he had been tipped that EJ was planning to take off on the DiMera jet. Marlena now learns Sami blocked the commissioner from arresting EJ by becoming a human shield. Marlena exclaims what the hell is their daughter thinking. Roman croaks he has no idea. He is worried that the police have orders to arrest EJ with force so if Sami tries to interfere again, "she could be in BIG trouble!" - In the warehouse, EJ refuses to let Samantha come with him. Will watches. Sami is determined to have her way. Will agrees she should go with him and offers to watch the kids. Sirens are now heard approaching. Sami insists they must flee and thanks Will, who promises to think of something to tell Lucas. EJ drily wishes him luck with that. Will and Sami embrace. She heads out the door and yells at EJ to come. Will wants him to take care of her. EJ pats him and follows her off into the darkness. - At the pub, Kayla greets Abe and Theo. The former mayor had wanted to help search for survivors but Theo only agreed to let him come here. Kay thanks the lad. She thinks Lexie is their guardian angel and is proud of them. Abe complains he heard Mayor EJ became a felon on the run, abandoning the town when they are in dire need. What can he do to help? Dr. Kayla considers. He adds he cannot go far from his son. She asks him to fetch some cases of water from the kitchen. Abe agrees and explains where he will be to Theo. Theo now spies a crying little girl at a table all alone. She cannot find her mommy. Theo knows about missing mommies and gives her a pep talk. Abe now approaches and asks when she last saw her mother. "Was it at the ballroom?" Kayla is at his side. The confused child shrugs her shoulders. Kayla explains to Abe that the woman is not on the list. They are not sure there are evacuees anywhere else. Abe quietly wonders where those who did not survive are being taken ... - Outside, Will is shocked to find Lucas and helps him up. He pretends he has not seen Sami. Lucas hastily gets back on his feet and keeps looking for her. Will follows, not sure what to say. - Sami and EJ are in the dark living room. She wants to regroup. EJ has a bag of money. They still have Johnny’s backpack. They sit on the sofa together. He suggests it is not too late and advises her to just walk away from him and this mess. - Hope dabs at the cut on Dan’s forehead, relieved he was not badly hurt. Weak Dan wants to keep searching. Bo and Hope will not allow it, given he was hit on the head. Dan, however, manages to stand up and staggers back to assist Bo. - Back in the elevator, Abigail wonders why she deserves such a great dad. Jack admits he himself has made a number of foolish mistakes in his life. She teases it must be a Devereaux thing. Jack chuckles and praises her as a spectacular woman. Watching her grow up was the best thing, though he regrets the missed time. "I'm more sorry for that than you will ever know." Abigail already knows and replies she too is sorry for being hard on him. He whispers she has no reason to be sorry. Abigail explains her anger was due to not knowing where he was. She missed him terribly and sobs he is such an important part of her life. She simply could not manage without him. He smiles she has done wonderfully. Abigail hopes to redeem herself and says she wants to be a reporter just like him. He strokes her cheek and she earnestly announces. "Dad, I’m so grateful that I’m your daughter." Jack gets choked up and emotionally cries he loves her. The pair embrace. - Lucas staggers into the warehouse and tries to reach Sami by calling her name. Will thinks that is not a good idea. Lucas is worried she might have fallen when she was the human shield and then collapses again. - As EJ proceeds to count money Sami vows she will not desert him. They will be unstoppable. EJ is pleased to have her on his side this time and asks her to help him count the money. She teases she is repaying him for saving her life. EJ murmurs they must also consider ... Lucas. He questions whether she can really tell him goodbye. Sami sighs. - Kayla gives little Molly some juice. She is clutching a teddy bear. Abe makes some calls but still there is no word on her mom. Abe intends to put out an APB and hopes the girl can provide a description. Meanwhile Theo takes her hand and promises they will find her mommy. How does he know? He just does. Theo walks her over to the adults, to tell them about her mommy. They all sit together at another table. Abe asks what her mommy was wearing. She is not sure but she is really pretty. Kayla asks whether she was dressed up. Abe asks about her cell phone number. Negative. Abe suddenly realizes Theo has vanished. He hurries outside. "Theo? Theo!" No answer. - Sami stammers she realizes she will have to eventually explain herself to Lucas. However, she is committed to helping EJ prove his innocence, for he has no one left. He grins no one except her. - Lucas stands back up but Will makes him sit down He finally confesses he has seen Sami. Lucas demands to know where she is. Will pauses. "With EJ." Lucas stares in horror, his mouth open. - Jack talks to Abigail about her babyhood and continues to calm her. Outside, Cam and Jen have obtained a crowbar. Cam gets to work with the stubborn doors. Jack laughs to his daughter his three favorite words are "I told you so." Alas he has spoken too soon! The elevator rocks, goes darker, and is filled with smoke. Jack stares. Jen calls out for her loved ones. Inside, Abigail hyperventilates. Jack tries to calm her. The elevator is heard moving in the shaft. Jen gives her daughter a pep talk but she cries she is not strong like them. Jen insists she is the best of both her parents. "You can do this!" Abigail now agrees. But the elevator is making loud noises that warn how their lives are literally hanging in the balance. Both Jack and Abigail look up. Only one will survive ... - Bo and Dan remove the last piece of broken furniture from the mound that had been covering Nicole and look down. "Oh my God!" laments Dan ... Read Part 2 of HEROES ...! |
