Friday, August 17, 2012 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! posted on August 16 early afternoon est CAUGHT IN A TRAP! - Replay of the EJ and Sami kiss on the lips, for about 7 seconds ... then about another 10 seconds. She pants they must stop. The seducer wonders why. She gasps it is wrong and does stop after all, though it is evidently not easy. EJ wonders what she finds objectionable. Is he pressuring her? She stammers about needing to think, plus recently being home with ... EJ calls Lucas a distraction. She insists she has feelings for him. And what about her feelings for him? Sami exclaims nothing is easy for her. He points out this is far from easy, as he is on the run. He knows that things have changed between them and they have put the past behind them. They now have each others’ best interest at heart. He gets closer. Sami thinks they owe being on the same side to their kids. She has not forgotten the situation they are in. He assures her he has put feelers out to prove his innocence. She sits down and nervously suggests they wait and stare at the wall. He sits beside her on the sofa, rather amused, and continues kissing her. She no longer resists. - Nicole wakes up in her hospital bed and smiles at her savior Dan. She thanks God for him and credits him with saving her baby. Back to reality. She is all alone but smiles anyway as she touches her baby bump. Knock knock. Tis old friend Father Matt, a scratch on his holy head. He asks about her and the baby. She gushes she was lucky as Dr. Jonas saved them both. Matt calls him a good man. Nicole smiles he is the best. Matt says to congratulate her husband on the pregnancy. Nicole replies they are not together, nor is the baby his. Matt wonders if she is with the father. She explains they are friends and she is fine with that. The priest is sorry to hear she is alone at this time. Nicole does not mind. She confides that last night she had a moment that brought everything into focus. He deduces she had an epiphany. She readily agrees. As it turns out, the only thing that matters has been before her the whole time. She yearns to be happy and loved. She pushed the man away, however, as she had trust issues. But that was then, this is now - and now she will cease playing games. Matt reminds her she is not alone and advises her to concentrate on her baby, giving him or her a good life. She insists that is precisely what she plans to do. - Nurse Maxine is glad to see Mel, who has been checked out on a hospital bed. She was praying! Gabi stares as Dan smiles and Maggie races in, hugging her granddaughter. She can never lose her again! Dr. Dan will be back after he checks on his other patients. Chad watches Maggie and Mel’s emotional reunion continue. The redhead declares she will give her kidnapper something to think about if she finds him! Chad mutters he will do more than that, but Mel defends him as sometimes being nice. If only she knew why he had taken her. Gabi tensely flashes back to loon boy Andrew turning on her. Moments later, Roman saunters in and announces he has no news on Andrew, though the gas leak has now been contained. He intends to find and bring Mel’s kidnapper to justice. Gabi gulps. Maggie steps out as Roman continues. Mel and Chad both hope he will find Andrew. Mel points out his obsession started with Gabi and the guilt-ridden girl plays along. Mel exits with Roman to give him an official statement. Chad notes Gabi seems upset. She admits she is not alright! Out at the nurse’s station. Maggie assumes Dan called Carly with the good news. He did but appears preoccupied nonetheless. He is upset he failed as a father and did not even notice his long lost daughter was missing. He could have lost her for good any why?! All because of his self-involvement. He calls Maggie Mom and laments this is what he is like. The redhead disagrees. Dan goes on to say he was too busy doing something else and it is utterly unforgivable. Nearby, Mel is giving Commissioner Roman her official statement. She tells him the tale of being handcuffed in the tunnel, at which time Gabi found her. Roman takes it all in. - Brady numbly asks Kate if Madison is in the hospital. Kate cries she is sorry. Brady stammers "Where is she?" Kate tearfully embraces him. He tries to be strong and asks what happened. She explains it was the ballroom, the explosion. He thinks he could have been there and holds Madison’s clothing close. He blames himself. Kate woefully states the debris and blown out window made it impossible to save her. Brady starts to babble about their wedding, John and Marlena. Kate informs him his father is looking for him. Madison was beautiful and would be here now if Ian has not ... Brady stands up and gets a murderous look in his eye. "What did he do to her!" - Chad insists Gabi tell him what is troubling her. She gets flustered and announces this is all her fault. She is to blame as she is a horrible person! Chad hugs her, assuming she is just shaken from the ordeal. - Maggie reasons that Daniel should be rejoicing over his daughter being found. She wonders if the issue is really Nicole. Dan defends her. He laments he was doing to Nicole what she has been accused of doing to others. He now clarifies. He has been using her as he does not want to be alone. He pressured her into a relationship she neither wants nor needs. He shakes his head, having decided he will no longer be THAT GUY! - Sami is on EJ’s lap as they kiss passionately, ready to get hotter and heavier. Beep beep beep! She advises him to see what it is about, for it could be important. EJ stands up with a groan, leaving her alone on the sofa. One of his contacts has sent him a message in numbers code. She stands up and watches him uncode it, buttoning up her shirt. EJ now shares that a contact has been in touch with someone who could clear his name. They must meet. Sami is elated and wants to go to the meeting with him. EJ will not allow her to accompany him. She argues they are in this together. He informs dahling that he was instructed to go alone. She suggests it could be a trap. He reasons all the more for one of them to stay safe, for the sake of the children. She implores him not to talk like that. They passionately kiss before he departs. - Brady demands to know what Ian did to Madison. Kate whispers he was with her when she died. She knows not whether he was the reason she was harmed. Brady raises his voice and demands to know where he is. John enters and drawls there is no need for that. He accuses Kate of setting up his son to go to Ian and orders her to leave. His son's grief will not be her weapon against that miserable Macalister! Kate cries to Brady he must hear this. She was there when Madison died. "She said Brady I love you." Devastated Brady shakes his head. Exit crying Kate. Brady rages he will kill Ian and starts to leave. John blocks his path. Brady warns John cannot keep him there. John declares Ian is not worth it. Brady rages he killed his girl. John explains it was an accident but Brady laments he broke her and for that he wants to kill him! John sadly insists it was an accident and he must find a way to let this go. For Madison. Brady pauses. - Gabi hates herself and laments if Chad knew, he would hate her too! Chad does not agree as she could not stop this. She blurts out she could have stopped it but did not! - Daniel confides to Maggie that Nicole does not love him that way so he should not have pushed. All she needed was for him to be her friend. He has been doing all he can to avoid the emptiness of not being a surgeon. Maggie wonders whether this relationship with Nicole was an escape. He is certain of it. But now he sees he cannot escape that emptiness. Now he intends to be a father, a man his daughter can be proud of. Maggie smiles she is already very proud. They embrace. - Inside her hospital room, Nicole is alone, addressing her unborn child. She believes Daniel could love them both and take care of them, too. She simply must let him know how she feels! - Kate finds Lucas at the coffee house. Does he need help with the kids today? He admits it has been rough without Sami but they are managing. She calls Sami selfish. He drawls he is used to it. What is she up to? Kate has decided that since he does not require her assistance, she intends to venture to the police for a word with Roman. About what? She flashes back to Ian confessing he killed Stefano. Back to reality. Lucas wonders if Roman might know where Sami is. Kate snaps she is not interested. That one can stay away as long as possible for all she cares. Lucas thinks it will be hard for her to avoid jail time. Kate leers about the little bitch getting a cell and Lucas quips if she were not the mother of his kids, he would build her cell himself! - Meanwhile, EJ is still giving Sami a passionate kiss goodbye. She kisses him back with equal ardor. He stops and smiles no more arguing. "For now," she teases. He promises when he returns, he will pick up where they left off. He kisses her again and she sighs. She then smiles she will be waiting and he steps out with a grin. Once he is gone, she appears surprised with herself. - Unbeknownst to EJ, is on his way to a trap ...
