LINK ONLY! posted on August 20 early afternoon est IN THE NAME OF THE FATHA! - Replay of Sonny kissing Will, who pushes him away and snaps what the hell is wrong with him! Sonny looks hurt. He stammers it was cos of how he was looking at him. Will gets snarky. Sonny insists he does not kiss guys for no reason but Will snaps he did not want that kiss, though his eyes betray his emotions. Sonny sarcastically remarks of course he is right. He reminds him he took forever to admit to himself he was gay and accuses him of trying to pretend he is straight. Will exclaims he is not in any kind of denial. "Quit running from who you are!" implores Sonny. Will insists he is not doing that. Sonny thinks he should stop pretending as he is already out. It is old news but he seemed to have missed that memo. After spending one night at a gay bar, he acted like he has no feelings. He is his friend and cares about him. Will sarcastically wonders whether he is sure they are just friends ... - Marlena is on the phone with John. She is relieved Will is out. The kids are in bed. She asks about Brady. Out runs Johnny, wondering where mommy is. - At the DiMera safe house, Sami struggles in her skimpy dress as Rafe handcuffs her to a chair and murmurs she should know she cannot outrun him. Sami flashes back to shirtless Rafe preventing her from escaping once upon a time at the FBI safe house. Back to reality. She sighs. He teases she should have changed out of the dress when he suggested it. She is indignant and insists EJ is not his man as he did not do the crime. She suspects he only wants to believe he is guilty to appease his wounded ego. Rafe assures her he will not be leaving here without him! He helps himself to some water and Sami complains she is thirsty. He places his bottle to her lips. She takes a little sip and then thanks him. He questions whether EJ is loyal to her the way she is to him. She points out they do share kids. He wonders if he will leave her holding the bag. Sami suggests they go back to Salem and he stop acting like a ridiculously jealous ex-husband. She gets miffed again about him fawning over Carrie. He denies it and gets miffed again about her outfit. He suspects that EJ will not be coming back, for he only thinks of himself. They bicker and call each other names. She claims this is about Carrie. Rafe blurts out this is about HER! She never thinks about the consequences of her choices. He brings up poor Lucas as an example, not to mention how her lousy choices might be reflecting on her kids. Sami believes Lucas can take care of himself but becomes sheepish upon mention of her kids. - EJ can only stare, speechless, when Ian reveals Stefano behind the curtain, a cruel mask preventing him from speaking. EJ insists that is not Stefano as he saw him buried. Ian drinks and explains that was Paulo, the perfect match he found. EJ argues the body was positively identified and he knows a fake when he sees one. Ian taps the esteemed prisoner on the arm and Stefano opens his eyes to EJ. EJ stares back. Ian sits down and proceeds to rant about loving a woman. He dangerously produces a small dagger and notes the old man has a high tolerance for pain. His associate has been trying to elicit information from his fatha, yet he is a man of few words. He holds the blade to EJ’s throat and ominously hopes he will be more forthcoming ... - Maggie stops by to see Jen. She wonders what is the matter. Jen cries they have lost Jack. Maggie hugs her in shock. They sit and the redhead asks how she can help. Abigail appears and Maggie jumps up to console her. She assures her that her father was proud of her. The girl whispers she knows. Maggie cries she loves them and is here for them. She realizes she should come back later and will call first next time. Heartbroken Jen forces a smile and thanks her. Maggie promises she is not alone. Jen cries she loves her so much. Exit Maggie, aware that they need their time to grieve. Outside the door, she takes out her phone and leaves an urgent message for Daniel. They need to talk! - Patient Nicole admires busy Dr. Dan through her window, still in her bed. She is pleased when an eager candy striper delivers her parcel to her and marvels how Dr. Jonas saved her. Nicole wants help with her makeup. Dan enters when she is prettied up in a bright yellow dress, her makeup flawless. He explains he cannot leave work for dinner at this time. She wants to talk about the baby. He promises he is in this with her. Nicole explains there is still a wildcard whose name is EJ. If he finds out the truth, he will take the baby away in heartbeat. Dan assures her he will keep her secret. She cannot convince him to stay and he gets back to work. Nicole now smiles they have more to discuss than this baby. - When Ian makes his way to Stefano, EJ calmly suggests he come back his way so they can talk. The madman does just that. He whips out the half gold coin and is curious whether EJ knows what it means. EJ claims that he does not know. Ian explains his mother Yvette worked for the phoenix’s father Santo when he was a boy and her name was engraved on one side for a good reason. His intentions with Yvette were clear from the start. And he clearly wanted her to have half his empire. Ian brags he is Yvette’s sole heir. EJ deduces he believes he is a DiMera. Ian smirks. Stefano appears exasperated. - Sonny wishes Will would stop ignoring who he is but Will retorts he does not kiss his friends. Sonny laments he is running right back into the closet. "Maybe I don’t want ..." begins Will and Sonny finishes he does not want to be gay. Will storms off. - Rafe berates Sami for not even being there for Will, after all he has been through. Sami gets mad and excuses she did not want her kids to grow up without a father cos he was in prison for something he did not do. Rafe becomes more exasperated as it dawns on him that this was her reckless idea. Sami hits back by bringing up the fact that he is the father of Nicole’s baby. "It is yours, isn’t it?" she asks. - Nicole pats her baby bump and tells baby not to worry. "Mommy has daddy covered." She watches Dan through the window. Meanwhile, Maggie approaches him with sad news. He becomes intense upon hearing Jen’s name. He is relieved to hear she is fine, but stunned to hear that Jack perished. He takes out his phone to call Jen, then pauses. Mama Maggie wonders what is stopping him. - Jen sits under a blanket with Abigail, who is reading the galleys of Jack's book. It is good. They are his words and thoughts, yet he is with them no more. How can it be? Jen strokes her hair and hugs her child, who cannot believe he is no longer present. - Ian has removed the mask from Stefano's face. Stefano speaks! "He is NOT a DiMerrrrra!" thunders the phoenix, his voice slighly croaky. "He’s a bastard, nothing more!” Ian concedes he is right. He knows not who his real father was, though Santo filled in all his life. He drawls surely EJ can relate. Ian now boasts once he cracks the access code, this coin will lead him to generations of secret DiMera holdings and wealth all over the world. He is certain that was Santo’s wish for him. He will honor it even if he must spill blood to do so! EJ, meanwhile, is slowly working to free his hands behind the chair. Ian taunts Stefano does not trust EJ even with the code. EJ suggests he release him, for he is not family and this is family business. Ian gets another drink and leers Stefano can endure torture well. But when a loved one undergoes the same pain ... Does he care for EJ or not? That is the question. He holds the sharp dagger to EJ's throat as he stands behind him. Stefano stares with worry ... - Sami wants Rafe to answer her simple question.
