LINK ONLY! posted on August 21 early afternoon est TURNING POINT! - Replay of Ian wickedly announcing Stefano and EJ are indeed fatha and son in spirit as well as blood. Father and son observe each other. - Sonny’s most interested friend helps him wipe the milk off his lips. Will walks out in a huff, literally bumps into T as he enters, and snaps to stay the hell outta his way! Exit Will. - As Chad stands nearby, Mel attempts to console grieving Abigail at the Horton house. Abigail cries on her shoulder. Ding dong! Chad opens the door to Gabi. He is not pleased to see her but Maggie is and happily accepts the food she has brought. When she takes it into the kitchen, Chad mutters Gabi is supposed to stay away from them all. She is sorry. He does not care. His focus is to protect Mel. She had better do as he says ... Bo and Hope arrive with flowers for Jen. Maggie graciously shows them into the other room, where the fair widow is receiving. Chad now threatens Abigail that he will tell them EVERTHING if she ignores his orders in the future! She can offer her condolences and then get out, then get her stuff out of his place too! He blasts her for the psycho stalker incident. The only reason he is not telling Mel is to spare her the stress. Mel now joins them. Chad drapes his arm around her and she is curious what they were talking about. Gabi stammers that they were discussing modeling. Chad explains he called Countess W and quit. Gabi frowns. - EJ struggles with the ropes tying his hands to the chair and drawls Ian is lying. Stefano stares at him, his own hands tied and chained to the wheelchair that has become his prison. Ian notes he would have nothing to gain by lying. When it is over, he may take a DNA test, if he so likes. Stefano weakly states he is telling the truth. Ian now leers to give him the code or he will slay his son right before his eyes! - At the DiMera safe house, Rafe groans as the henchman lunges with the knife. Rafe has the knife stuck in his jacket. Sami manages to reach the gun and warns the thug to drop the knife. He does not. BANG! He cannot believe she actually shot him. Rafe grabs him and is dismayed to hear Sami tell Silvio she is sorry. He cannot believe they are on a first name basis! Silvio wants to know what is going on. Rafe grabs the gun from Sami, who quips it is complicated. Rafe ushers the thug out of the room. - Hope praises Jack as a husband and father. Bo places his arms around Jen and assures her Jack had never been happier than he was these last few months. - Will runs into Lucas outside at the town square. Lucas is more than miffed he could not find him. He reminds him they must venture to Jen’s together. Will frowns he cannot. Lucas remarks what Abigail and Jen are going through is far worse than his personal problems. Will glumly states he would be lousy company. Lucas wishes he would open up so he could help. - Sonny cleans up at the coffee house and admits he is indeed having guy troubles. T looks up from his table and glares at him. Sonny has not noticed his hatred. That will change very soon ... - Stefano growls Ian will NOT kill his son. EJ rages that Stefano only cares about himself. Ian turns and continues to rant. EJ frees his hands from the rope and jumps up to attack Ian, who shoves him aside. After EJ falls, Ian holds his dangerous dagger to Stefano. "Tell me what I need to know!" He remains desperate for the code. - Mel is surprised to hear Chad has decided to quit modeling. He is no longer interested in superficial endeavors. Mel notes he and Gabi were a package deal but Chad assures her that Gabi agrees they must focus on the future instead. Gabi pretends to agree. Mel goes to get her phone in the kitchen. Gabi moans she cares about Chad. He leers then she should go live on another planet. “I never want to look at you again!” - Jen praises Alice for helping getting her and Jack back together. Bo wisely states the same is true of him and Hope. Maggie is consoling Abigail nearby. Hope brings in a plant which was left at the doorstep without a card. Jen gets choked up. “Oh Jack!” - Lucas deduces that Will is upset about a gay issue. He assumes it concerns his love life and clumsily refers to his being gay as a choice. Will gets testy and suggests he stop trying so hard. Lucas snaps he does not feel happy now either but at least he is going to go to Jen’s place, step up, and be a man. Will is further upset by the comment. Lucas now gets upset with him that he helped his mother escape with EJ. Will is sorry he screwed up. Lucas yells he did and disappointment cannot even begin to describe how he feels about him. Will cries he realizes he must be a disappointment. Lucas insists this has nothing to do with him being gay. Will bitterly notes it must be so easy to have a gay son. Lucas explains parents do not want their kids to experience hardship. Will gets upset, assuming he wants him to be more manly, and bolts. - Silvio , who suffered a mere flesh wound, has been bound, gagged, and left in the other room by Rafe. He is pleased Sami helped him. They now discuss EJ and Sami blurts out he got a message, and was following up on the lead. Rafe gets to his computer and curses. He manages to gain access without much difficulty. Sami snaps it is not any of his business. Rafe sighs EJ cleverly deleted his messages, then spies the picture of the kids. Sami admits she misses them.She suggests they consider her helping him against Silvio karmic payback for how he once helped her at the safe house. He notes he was just doing his job but she believes it was much more. She will never forget he risked his life for her. Rafe stares. - Not one to be deterred, EJ regains his strength and leaps back into action. He grabs Ian and punches him unconscious. Stefano asks whether he is … EJ informs the phoenix he is still alive. Stefano praises him for a job well done and calls him “my son.” What Ian said is true and no DNA test is necessary. After seeing his actions today, he knows he is s true DiMera. “You are my son.” EJ bitterly rages not to call him that EVER! The phoenix understands he is hurt and knows he does not mean that. EJ leers he did, with all his heart. The only person who cared about him was Alexandra and now she is dead because of him. Stefano shakes his head and adds his heart hurts. EJ claims he hates him, as much as he did when he pointed the gun at him and pulled the trigger. The only person who cared about him was Lexie and she is gone. He and Ian are both the bloody same. He takes out Ian’s half gold coin and snaps they would kill for this?! Stefano wonders what he intends to do with it. EJ considers and examines the coin ... - Twisted T eavesdrops as Sonny confides in his friend about wanting to be more than friends with Will. The friend realizes he has taken himself off the market and wishes him luck cos he could be waiting forever! - Back at Horton house, Bo has noticed a dedication at the beginning of Jack’s book. It is dedicated to Jennifer Rose. “Against the world” is written in Latin. Jen smiles. She thanks Bo and Hope for being there. Hope promises she will always be there for her and the kids. The cousins emotionally exchange I love yous. - Mel returns to Chad and wonders whether Gabi is alright. She is. Chad explains she has decided to remove her belongings from his place as there is no more stalker. Gabi says goodbye and woefully departs. - Abe later offers Jen his condolences and tells her he gets through the days with the love of very good friends and his son. Jen appreciates it. Meanwhile, Abigail thanks Lucas for coming and asks about Will. He could not make it and Lucas sighs he does not have any idea where that boy’s head is at! He now tells Jen he is sorry and is glad she had that time with Jack. Meanwhile, Mel has sensed the tension between Gabi and Chad and questions him about it. - Gabi runs out with her belongings, which she drops. Will helps her and asks if she is alright. She takes off, gasping that nothing matters! Will follows her and she cries Chad found out something she did that was terribly foolish and now wishes she was as far away as Mars. Will is sorry. Gabi cries she knows not what to think and does not want another person to hate her. She lies down in bed and Will sits down on the bed beside her, assuring her he does not hate her ...
