RUNNING ON EMPTY!

PART 1

- EJ thunders at Stefano that Tony dying was relevant and yells he put
a bullet in Phillip as revenge. Chad wants to hear more. Stefano lectures that it is impossible to reason with those killer Kiriakises and they killed Tony! EJ turns to Chad and urges him to listen to what he is hearing.
This situation is impossible so he should run while he can! Chad pauses. Stefano gets mad at EJ for acting like Chad is not a DiMera. How could he tell him to rrrrrrrrrrrun away. "We do not rrrrrrrun away! We do not run!" He then touches his head, staggers, and collapses on the sofa after adding they are DiMeras. EJ stares. "Fatha?" Chad rushes to his side but gets no pulse. He asks EJ to call 911. EJ is silent. Chad shouts at him and calls him a son of a bitch for leaving his father to die. Kate races in and decides there is no time for 911. She goes to get his insulin. Chad rages
at EJ for not calling 911.  EJ coldly mutters about divine intervention. Chad declares that if Stefano does not survive, EJ has killed him and he will make sure everyone knows! Kate returns with the insulin, her hands shaking. Chad administers it as EJ stands impassively nearby.
- Will and Gabi lie nekid under the sheets in their hotel bed. He wonders
if he was okay. She assures him he was all she wanted. He asks her not
to lie to him! She emotionally reassures him. He promises her he loves her and will never hurt her. They start to make out again ...
- Down at the pier, Bo and Hope are at the scene of the crime getting an update on the fiber that Rafe found. Commissioner Roman storms over and demands to know what they are doing there. Bo and Hope try to reason with him. Roman snaps that there is a conflict of interest here, as Maggie is Hope's aunt and Victor is Bo's father. Bo replies that is no problem. They too long to put away the DiMeras. However, Roman will not back down. Rafe is already on the job. He wants them to leave.
- At the hospital, Victor laments to Brady that Mel said they were using panels on Maggie. It does not sound good. Upset Jen and Abigail enter. Brady tries to assure them it will be fine.
- In the OR, Dan has tried unsuccessfully to revive Maggie for 4 minutes. He is urged to give up and now does. Maggie suddenly gets a weak pulse. They zap her and the pulse is normal. Maggie is back! Dr. Lexie smiles. "You did it!" Dan believes they just saw a miracle. He saunters out with Lexie to update the gang she is still alive and they removed the bullet, but she is not yet out of danger. In addition, the patient is on a ventilator and they know not for how long she will need it. Meanwhile, Maggie sleeps in her room. Victor wants to see her. Dan replies she cannot have visitors just yet. Victor sits down and sulks. He orders Brady to leave and warns him not to go after revenge. He is responsible for what transpired, so he will take care of this. Brady storms off, followed by Nicole.
- At the police station, Abe spies Tay, who claims she wants an update
on what happened to Maggie. Abe assumes she really wants to know if they have arrested EJ yet! She insists he had nothing to do with Maggie's shooting and she knows EJ. Abe wonders if she is aware of what he did
to Sami and others. Tay retorts he has changed and she believes it. Abe gives her a doubtful look..
- Bo and Hope are outside the pub. Bo cannot believe the promotion has gone to Roman's head. He is acting like an idiot! Hope reminds him Rafe said they could work with him on the case regardless. They need to get moving before Stefano can make up an alibi. Bo drawls it is time to drop in on the DiMeras!
- At DiMera mansion, Kate begs Stefano to wake up and speak to her ...!
