| Friday, August 12, 2011 up on August 11 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! EVIL INTENT! PART 1 - Down at the pier, EJ releases struggling Nicole while laughing like a drunk. She starts to hit him. He grins and stops her. He continues to drink from his whiskey bottle and tells her that he took responsibility for what happened - for Tay. He does not want the situation to escalate. However, Brady does not believe him. Nicole wonders if he would believe her. Yes, and that is precisely why he needs her help. She is the only person who could stop this situation for good! Nicole does not want to get involved. EJ wants her to reason with Brady to end the war. She would rather not. He gets emotional about wanting to protect the children, takes her face in his hands, and begs her to do this for him. She now agrees, He hands her a note, kisses her hand, and asks her to deliver it to Brady. Exit Nicole. Meanwhile, Dmitri is concealed behind a crate, gun drawn! Oblivious, EJ takes another gulp of whiskey. - At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady gets off the phone with Victor, after explaining Dmitri has a man watching him, for his protection. Tay arrives and Brady announces her life is in danger! From who? From the dastardly DiMeras and he is going to do something about it! Tay looks tense. Why does he think the DiMeras would target her? Brady insists they would, as she chose to work for him and rejected EJ. He suggests she move in with him. Taylor thinks he is overreacting. Nicole walks in and is stunned to hear that Brady actually fears EJ would harm Taylor, of all people. She dutifully hands him the note from EJ. Brady takes a look. Nicole asks what he will do. He will answer him with a phone call. Brady now calls EJ at the mansion and replies to his offer of a real truce. Too little too late, after what happened to Maggie."Go to hell!" He slams down the phone. - Sami is watching TV and sees the news that Maggie was shot and is critical. Enter little Johnny. Sami shuts off the TV. Rafe returns from his night shift and sends Johnny to get him something. Sami is concerned, as she heard the news. He drawls the war is just getting started. Johnny gets ready for day camp and they continue their discussion. "The families are at war," Rafe sighs while drinking his coffee. Sami is relieved she has the kids. Rafe remarks EJ and Stefano might finally get what is coming to them. Johnny approaches with a frown and wants to know what they have done now! Sami assures him that he and Sydney are safe. Rafe seconds the notion. Johnny announces that Rafe is the better daddy. Rafe explains he is not trying to compete with his real dad. Johnny adds he just likes it better there with them. He now goes in the other room to finish getting ready for day camp. Sami praises Rafe for making Johnny feel safe. Rafe replies that the lad has his heart, as do all her kids. They kiss. - At the club, Viv is stunned to hear the news on the TV that Victor was the intended victim in Maggie's shooting. She mutters that her enemies are dropping off like flies, though Carly will be the icing on the cake! She wonders where Quinn is and who the mystery woman in his life could be ... - Outside the pub, Chad would rather not have this discussion with Abigail. She implores him to move out of the mansion and come home with her. He patiently explains he must stand by his family. EJ needs him now too, as he lost his children and is not in a good way. Abigail tries to be understanding. Chad reminds her to be careful. - At the hotel room, Carly quietly tells Quinn she is ready to go home. Ring ring! Tis Vivian calling. He does not pick up and Viv knows he sent her to voice mail! He asks Carly if she will tell her family the truth. He is worried about her. Carly thinks she should go. Quinn points out he must meet his mother but will continue this conversation later. Carly is happy he will be spending time with his mom. Quinn charmingly urges her to eat her breakfast before it gets cold and departs. Carly looks at a photo of herself with Mel. All of a sudden, there is a loud knock at the door. Tis Madame Vivian.
