Colorful Kate makes Abe chuckle when she suggests they get Annette Benning. Abe liked Leo's script. Kate calls it melodrama in a good sense ... Steph is at the bistro looking lovely in red. Alex sits down as he is meeting Justin and Bonnie here. He invites her to join them. Alas she is busy preparing to meet a possible client. She just finished her work. The mood is happy and light until Alex stands and knocks over her wine glass. She curses loudly cos of the stain on her computer and work. Alex is sincerely sorry. She opens her computer but tis froze. Alex takes a look and agrees it is not good. Her meeting starts soon! He insists on paying for her food and drink but she stops him. When their hands touch they clearly feel the chemistry. Justin and Bonnie can see it when they arrive ... - Moguls Kate and Abe are ready to read what Leo wrote. Kate reads out both the roles while Abe listens and wants to hear more. Kate loved the sad scene about the mother and son slammer visit ... Johnny informs Hattie he is directing for B&S. She has some ideas so he points out only the writer changes the script. She takes off to see someone ... Leo is nervous. Knock knock!!!! Tis Hattie, whom he still believes to Marlena. The camp continues as Leo the scamp continues to assume she is Marlena, who has lost her mind. Hattie asks if he got the B&S writing gig. He is waiting to hear back. She shows him the script he should rewrite. Leo, however, is in intervention mode and informs the wannabe diva she has D.I.D. He tells Dr. Evans he is trying to help. Hattie tells him she is no Marlena and so the misunderstanding continues ... Back at the square Johnny updates Chanel on how he met Marlena lookalike Hattie. She sighs she has too much free time since the bakery runs itself - and now hubby is busy with the show ... - Kate and Abe talk soap sorasing for one of the young couples. They would have to be appealing ... Back to Alex and Steph at the bistro. She heads off to try and save her pitch. Alex hates that he ruined her work. Justin has some good news, however and hands him his annulment papers. Alex is relieved to be rid of Teresa the terrible. Bonnie the matchmaker suggests he reconcile with Steph ... Steph arrives at Body and Soul, where Kate and Abe await. Kate exits on an errand while Abe stays to conduct the interview. Steph updates him on her frozen laptop but he smiles the meeting is a mere formality He knows well what great work she did for Paulina so she is in. Steph is grateful and giddy about promoting the big Body and Soul relaunch. Abe warmly welcomes her to the team ... Pretty Chanel is restless and seeks another creative outlet. Johnny talks poetry cos she is a great poetess. Alas now he must head to the soap. He gives his beloved a kiss ... - Leo calls Hattie a Marlena alter. She denies it so he shouts in his attempt to reach and save Dr. Evans ... Steph and Abe discuss the cast. Abe agrees outspoken Bonnie and Hattie especially will need her assistance when dealing with the press ... Back at the bistro Alex insists he and Steph are simply pals. Bonnie could see the love connection and suggests they try again ... Johnny is pleasantly surprised to hear Steph is the new publicist. Abe says Johnny is the new director. They congratulate one another and smiling Steph gets going. Johnny now informs Abe he met Hattie. Abe thinks she needs direction. Johnny was impressed with her melodramatic approach ... Hattie tells Leo to call Dr. Evans if he wants to reach her. Leo decides to haul her to Bayview. Here comes Kate, who explains Hattie is very real and really Marlena's doppelganger ... - Bonnie is pumped to get her soap contract and wants to e-sign. Legal eagle Justin stops her .... Steph spies Roman outside the pub and gives her uncle the great news about being hired by Kate. Roman is no soap guy but will try tuning in. He calls the soap biz a new level of crazy and chuckles ... Leo apologizes for mistaking sane Hattie for an altered version of Marlena ... Johnny is interested in the story about the young couple and reads aloud to Abe, who wonders who could fill the roles. Johnny suggests Chanel and Abe likes the idea. Johnny states they still need to find her leading man. There would have to be tension and chemistry ... Alex greets Channel at the square and shares his joyous annulment news. She scoffs his hormones lead him to bad decisions like when he slept with Ally ... Justin offers to get Bonnie a better deal than lowest pay and is proud of her future soap star status ... - Leo ends a call with the real Dr. Evans after he fibs he was just stressed about a spider. He will see her for drag race tomorrow. Kate announces to lucky Leo he is the new head writer of Body and Soul. No joke and he will be emailed his contract. Kate sweeps out and new pal Hattie asks him to fix her script ... Roman was sorry to hear about the loss of Everett. Steph admits she is having a tough time. Jada is going to give her his ashes. Roman hopes they will both be able to put the tragedy behind them and move forward ... Back at the square Chanel is still plenty mad and Alex calls her petty.
