| Tuesday, August 23, 2011 up by 5:22 pm on August 22 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! DREAD! PART 1 - At the loft, Sami wakes up from sleeping on Rafe sleeping on the sofa. She giggles they slept there all night. Pause. She sighs that for a moment, she actually forgot. He reassures her. Turns out Rafe came home early from a stakeout, as she did not want to be alone. She dreamt of babies and is sorry she is not having one with him. He kisses her and murmurs it is okay. She repeats she is sorry. He replies a false pregnancy is not her fault so there is nothing to be sorry for! And if it does not happen, they still have a great life. He just wants them to make sure she is fine. The pair embrace. He later remarks she looks pale and offers her tea and toast. Sami replies she only wants him and starts to kiss him, then pulls away. He asks what is the matter. Sami is upset. She feels something is the matter with her and it is not so simple. Something is terribly wrong. Rafe reminds her that Lexie had said it might be nothing. Besides, his Sami has never been in a fight she could not win. They will beat this together! - Kinsey is at the pub, quietly reading the morning headlines about the third hooker attack. She flashes back to Chloe telling her of the dangers. Chloe approaches her for real and Kinsey shows her the newspaper. The teen hugs Chloe and thanks her for making her see the light. It could have been her! Chloe sadly states she has to keep going, as she cannot risk not getting Parker back. Kinsey cannot believe she would actually go back. There are other ways to get cash. Chloe laments if she attempts to quit, then Quinn will report her to child services. Kinsey snaps if she is dead, where will that leave her son? He will lose his mother forever! Chloe blinks her pretty blue eyes. - At the police station, the D.A. points out to Bo and Hope the attacks might not be connected. Bo and Hope think otherwise. Bo wants to start digging and hopes they will be able to work together. The D.A. refuses and sarcastically notes when Abe enters that he might support him. "Wrong," says a solemn Abe. - Outside, Quinn stares at the newspaper headlines. A third attack. He recalls his recent intense conversations with Taylor. She approaches. Tay informs him they are done effective immediately, due to this third attack. However, she hopes he will keep their connection a secret if a certain matter ever comes to light. Quinn drawls if he goes down, so will she! He adds they need each other. Therefore, she must continue to be his police informant. Her phone suddenly rings. Quinn grabs it and growls to do the right thing. He puts it on speaker phone. Tis Hope, looking for files. Tay promises she is on her way! Once the call is over, Quinn advises her to go do her job, but never forget who she really works for! - At the house of Kiriakis, Brady gets himself coffee in the living room. He is clearly distracted this morning. Nicole comes downstairs in a very skimpy outfit. Brady is tense. She wonders if he thinks last night was a mistake. Brady admits he acts before he thinks. They are bad for each other! Nicole appears hurt. He points out it takes more than chemistry to have a relationship. And something negative happens when they get together. Nicole thinks he means they only bring out each other's worst instincts and quips so what if they are damaged goods! He treats her like no one else. And she knows that he loves her. Is she wrong? He sighs she is not. Nicole woefully states that she feels they are doomed without one another ... - Back at the station, Mayor Abe addresses Bo and Hope. They should look at the bigger picture. If they start throwing resources at the case, the headlines will scream there is a serial attacker on the loose. Bo suggests they work it under the radar. Abe still disagrees. Tay hands Hope the files she requested. Hope wonders if Abe would feel differently if those women were not streetwalkers. Meanwhile, Tay gets a text message from Quinn, just to let her know he means business. She glances nervously at Abe, Bo, and Hope. Abe explains he understands that Bo and Hope are frustrated, but until they can prove a connection, they cannot proceed. Bo accepts his decision. Abe must go meet Rafe at the hospital now and grumbles he had better not be giving him the same argument! - Chloe exits the pub and decides she must find Quinn ... - Sami and Rafe arrive at the hospital together. They talk to Lexie before Sami sees the specialist. Rafe would like to know what she thinks could be wrong with his wife. He squeezes Sami's shoulder. Lexie is uneasy ... Read Part 2 - click here! |
