| Monday, August 29, 2011 up by 5:47 pm August 26 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! CHAIN REACTION! PART 1 - Roman and Bo confer with Dr. Dan at the hospital. They ask about Mandy. The doc suggests they go easy on her. Bo points out according to Hope, she is uneasy around the police. Dan drawls if she gets stressed, he will have to stop the interview - even if the girl is their only lead. - Hope enters Mandy's room. The witness wants to get the interview over with and is dismayed to hear other cops are coming. In addition, they will be videotaped, as per police procedure. Hope assures her she will be fine. Moments later, the commissioner, Bo, and Dr. Dan arrive. Mandy agrees to let the camera roll. She wishes to help find the bastard who did this to her ... - Chloe anxiously joins Adrienne and Justin at the Cheatin Heart. They have a surprise. Justin sits her down at a computer and suggests she take a look. Tis baby Parker, gurgling and he can see her live! Justin nudged Phillip to let it happen! Chloe is elated and coos at her baby. She asks whether Phillip is there. No, just the nanny. The baby gurgles. Chloe talks to him. "Mommy misses you so much!" She hopes he remembers all the things she used to do with him. Adrienne and Justin are moved. The baby says MAMA. Chloe cries he remembers and recognizes her. She wonders if she was his first word. Adrienne kisses Justin for being the best man in the world and whispers she loves him. Chloe wipes the tears from her face. Once the live feed visit is concluded, she profusely thanks Justin. She wants to be Parker's mommy again. Justin assures her she is getting there. She boasts about her apartment, which is ideal but expensive. She adds she has a steady singing gig and three new students. Justin is impressed. Chloe feels she is getting her life back on track and thanks them again. As she starts to leave, old client Randy approaches her and offers to pay her double for an hour. Chloe glances nervously at Justin and Adrienne, who are now engrossed in a conversation at the bar. She appears to consider ... - Vivian has received Gus' message and approaches him outside. He is carrying flowers but she has something important for him to do. Today! This could be the most important day of her life! She announces she has been a fool pursuing her hateful son. She has come to her senses. Gus is hopeful. Viv purrs Gus is the only man in her life. He is much moved. He has these flowers for her and declares he loves her. She loves him too. They embrace ... Now back to reality. Viv snaps he looks like he just won the Kentucky derby with those ridiculous flowers. He starts to stammer. She snaps to spit it out! He starts to say something and she orders him to toss the flowers and get to work. She needs him to help her find Quinn so she can tell him all is forgiven. She wants him back in her life! Gus' face falls. - Tay has summoned Quinn to the pier. She warns him she and therefore he could have a problem! Bo wanted Mandy's case notes at the hospital. They are interviewing Mandy and will surely ask her the identity of her pimp. He should leave town before disaster strikes! Quinn will not oblige. Tay sarcastically asks what is keeping him in Salem. Much. He insists his girl Mandy will not rat him out. He was not the one who beat her up. Tay exclaims the cops always suspect a pimp when a hooker is attacked. She does not want to go down when he does. Quinn explains he is the only constant in Mandy's life. He does not believe she will give him up to the cops, as no good call girl will give up her talent manager. He adds Taylor should know that better than anyone! Taylor gets mad at him for throwing the past in her face. He apologizes, but reminds her she is no angel. She came to town and shagged her sister's husband! Quinn points out he and Tay used to be good together. She insists she was destitute and desperate at the time. Misguided Quinn says he was helping her. Tay bitterly recalls how he turned her into one of his girls. He drawls there was much more between them and she knows it! - Rafe and Lexie are with Sami in her room. She has been drugged and giggles she feels stoned. Rafe promises her that he will be there when she wakes up. Sami is wheeled out by the orderly. Rafe now gets serious and asks Lexie to take good care of that lady, for she is his whole life. Lexie promises she will and walks out. Rafe waits alone and flashes back to his and Sami's romance, including bedroom scenes and his proposal. "You are everything I longed for ... everything and more," sings a singer in the background. Roman interrupts his flashbacks and asks how things are. Rafe laments time is standing still. Dr. Lexie just took Sami off for the operation. Roman would like to know how she was when they took her. Acting brave, but scared as hell. However, she did not want her mama Marlena to know. He wonders why. Roman replies they used to have a complicated relationship, though it is good now. Rafe hopes he will meet her one day. Roman reminds him this was Sami's call. Rafe assures him he will not go behind her back. Roman feels the same way. He hopes there will be nothing to tell anyway. Rafe sighs it cannot be cancer! He pours himself a strong cup of coffee. Roman now suggests he focus his energy on work. Mandy is about to give the cops her official statement. He could attend, as he would be close by. Roman explains he would like him there, as he has a way with witnesses and Mandy knows he is the one who saved her life. Rafe agrees to do it but if he gets a call about Sami, he is out of there. He walks to Mandy's room. Roman murmurs to himself that his daughter has to be okay and follows him. - In her room, Mandy is checked out by Dan. He decides she is alright, though her pulse is a tad fast. Rafe returns with Roman. Bo videotapes. Hope asks if she is ready to begin. Indeed. And so they get started. Hope asks her to state her full name for the record. She does. She is asked her occupation. She is a professional escort. What happened the night she was attacked? She was at the pier, waiting for a friend who did not show up. She was thinking and heard something. Then a man appeared holding a stick and started beating her with it. She blacked out. Hope asks if she saw him. Mandy pauses. Hope asks what she is afraid of ... - At the pub, Viv complains about the coffee and wants to find Quinn. Gus suggests she avoid all contact with him, after what happened with Carly. Viv points out he is all she has, biologically speaking. Without him she is alone. Gus emotionally announces she has him. Viv rolls her eyes. She cackles, then explains she was referring to family. However, he is a devoted employee, the only one she trusts, which is why she needs him to find Quinn and first get him the perfect gift. She gives Gus her gold card to buy it and adds it must be perfectly tasteful. Gus cannot believe it. She tells him to make haste and flounces off.
