| Tuesday, August 9, 2011 up on August 8 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! WAR! PART 1 - At the loft, Rafe is on the phone with Sami. Will starts to leave. Rafe tosses the lad his wallet. A condom falls out. Rafe notices. "What the...!" - At the hospital, Jen assures Mel that her dad is the best surgeon. Mel just wishes her mom, as she used to be, was in surgery with him. She confides to Jen that if not for her time with Maggie, she would never have known how to have a family. She starts to cry and Jen assures her that their Maggie is a fighter. Victor solemnly stands nearby. Brady later tries to hug Mel, but she breaks away and coldly states she does not wish to be around him. She walks away with Dario. Nicole arrives, having been summoned by Brady. He is all wound up, convinced that this was a DiMera setup, pure and simple. Bo and Hope arrive on scene and they have some questions. Who did this? Brady claims t'was the DiMeras. Lexie approaches, none too pleased to hear the hatred and accusations. She informs the gang of all the offers of blood donors they have had on Maggie's behalf. She hopes to help in the OR. Victor loudly disagrees. He accuses her of wanting to finish off the job her father started. Jen and Hope shut him up, as the family makes the decisions concerning Maggie. He calls them sentimental fools. - In the OR, there is a lot of blood. Dr. Dan is ready to remove the bullet from Maggie, but she is still bleeding. The determined doc fears the bullet may have punctured the lung. The bullet is finally removed and Lexie takes a look. She notes it has a hollow point, like from a pro. "Damn!" she sighs. Dan wants her to help him. Lexie appears to zone out. Dan exclaims the patient could die if she does not assist! Lexie pulls herself together and helps him with the suction as he completes the operation. All of a sudden, Maggie flatlines! - At the mansion, EJ rages at Stefano, who explains it was an accident. EJ explodes and calls him pathetic. Chad wants EJ to back off, until he hears EJ claim the phoenix took out a hit on Victor Kiriakis. Chad wants to know if it is true. Stefano replies he did no such thing, but the Greek was reaching for his gun. He does not understand why EJ protected the Kiriakis who attacked him. EJ thunders he was protecting his family. Stefano retorts it must have been that woman Taylor who made him do nothing. That is precisely why the Kiriakis clan considered them weak and he had to fix it. EJ gasps he has only started a war that no one will win. There is no hope for any of them. He points out Brady now believes he was setting him up and did not want peace. How does fatha think this madness will end? Stefano drawls there will be another Kiriakis victim. EJ warns him a stray bullet could hit any one of their family members. Chad agrees. Stefano snaps at him to stay out of it. Chad gets miffed. The phoenix declares no one will get hurt. He will see to it. But they will not bend their knees to the Kiriakis clan! He suggests EJ put aside his fancy talk and come up with a way to win this WAR. Exit the phoenix. - Back at the loft, Rafe hastily gets off the phone with Sami. Will has put the condom away and reminds him he is not his father. Rafe snaps he is Gabriella's brother and he is all she has. Will insists she has her own life to live. Rafe angrily states that is convenient for him. Will assures him they have not slept together and he knows not what will happen, but it is entirely up to her. He will be sure to prevent what happened to Mia from happening to her. However, if she says no, he will still love her! Rafe gets sarcastic. Will does not even know what love is! Knock knock! Tis Gabi. Will replies he will be right there. He warns Rafe not to talk to Gabi like she is a child. He now opens the door. Gabi asks if everything is alright. Roman calls Rafe from the pier and summons him. He will update him when he arrives. Rafe agrees. He heads out after telling them to have fun at the movies. Gabi is surprised Rafe knew where they were going. Will explains they had a chat. He told Rafe he loves her. She smiles and they kiss. She loves him too! Will now confesses Rafe saw the condom he bought. He stammers he got them a room for the night and she smiles she wants to be with him. They kiss again... - At the hospital, Abigail joins Jen in a room. Hope returns. Doug, Julie, Nathan, and Melissa cannot be reached. Jen tries to be optimistic, then starts to cry. Family hug. Hope promises they will support each other. At the nurse's station, Bo is talking on his phone. If the general mood is any indication, he suspects things will get worse! Victor walks back with Sonny. Bo would like to know exactly what happened. Vic dramatically declares it was all his fault ... - At the mansion, Chad points out Stefano said he was not responsible for the shooting. He notes EJ was in his face. EJ sighs he himself is not in a position to judge people. Chad wonders why he does not just walk out if Stefano refuses to listen to him. EJ drawls it is too late for him, but it might not be too late for Chad. Fatha is a powerful drug. There is much violence, ruthlessness, and darkness around him. There is also a civilized exterior, but they are not fooled by that. His children know he would take a bullet for them and that is a powerful thing. "You're his son Chad," he tells the newest heir. "Get out of here while you can!" He states there will be plenty of bullets flying around the mansion soon and pours himself a drink. Chad's phone rings and EJ wonders what will happen to Abigail if he stays. - At the hospital, Abigail leaves a message for Chad. Hope seems to think the DiMeras did not let him answer. Meanwhile, Bo knows Victor went to the pier to meet Stefano to clean up Brady's mess, and tells him so. Victor stares darkly ... - Will and Gabi enter their prettily decorated hotel room and he starts to kiss her. She hesitates. He wonders what is wrong ... - Down at the pier, Roman updates Rafe on the shooting and asks if he is interested in working the case. "Try and stop me!" drawls Rafe ... Read Part 2 - click here! |
