Chanel notices his bracelet and sighs when he states Holly made it for him ... Holly is obsessing over Johnny again at the mansion, then reminds herself her mom needs her help ... Dimitri is enraged to read that Leo is being arraigned on charges of murder ... EJ kisses Nicole and heads to court to sock it to Leo. He believes his beloved Nicole has accepted their baby is not Sloan and Eric's. Wrong! Meantime Holly calls Eric, who assures her he will see Kayla today about the DNA test. She has not told Nicole. He must discuss the matter with Sloan, who walks in and hears her name ... Johnny cannot convince Chanel that Holly intended it to be a friendship bracelet. Helper Tate overhears and confirms Holly is not into EJ ... Eric admits to Sloan he was just speaking to Holly about ... She gets a text from Dimitri warning of consequences. Meanwhile suited EJ visits prisoner Leo to update him on all the charges he is throwing at him. Leo was told by Sloan the murder charges EJ wants would not work. EJ seethes he will see him behind bars ... - Back at DiMera mansion, Holly hears from mama Nicole that she is still certain the baby she held was her son. If only she could prove it. Holly updates her on Eric agreeing to get said baby a DNA test. Nicole is delighted ... Tate claims Holly's old crush on EJ is over. Johnny updates him on Chanel believing it was just her cover story cos she is really into HIM. Tate boasts he knows Holly better and says tis not true. He flashes back to the girl enlisting his help to break up Johnny and Chanel. Chanel decides she might have been wrong and Johnny teases her. Tate now has something to say to Chanel ... Excited Nicole thanks Holly for being on her side. They hug but Holly remains worried ... Dimitri threatens Sloan cos Leo is facing prison time. She texts him to sit tight and hastily starts to take off as Eric tries to tell her about Holly's idea. She assures him she is fine with anything that will help Nicole accept the truth and races off to deal with Dimitri ... - Leo solemnly states Sloan pointed out the baby died after the accident. EJ counters the baby died from injuries sustained in said accident and he has the doctor on his side. He tells Leo he will be toast ... Tate complains about the low pub pay and needs a second job. He asks if he could work at the bakery. Chanel tells him to send in his application. Tate is in a hurry so she agrees to give him one to fill out at the bakery. She assures Johnny she will be back soon ... Hopeful Nicole has her toothbrush for Holly. Eric texts he and the baby are already at the hospital ... Kayla admires the still nameless baby boy and asks Eric the reason for his visit. For a DNA test to prove this baby is not EJ and Nicole's son. The good doctor bites her lip ... Leo argues he was not even the one driving. EJ hisses but he is here whereas driver Dimitri is not. Leo argues that is unfair. EJ loses his cool about his son losing his life. Leo insists he saved him and then stayed with Nicole. EJ only knows his son is now dead ... Meanwhile Dimitri gets mad at worried Sloan, who assures him she is sill fighting to free Leo. She is appealing to the judge. Dimitri deduces she did not do as asked and threatens to call and expose her baby theft to Nicole once and for all ... - Nicole answers the unknown caller, assuming it could be the hospital. Tis Dimitri, who announces they must discuss an important matter. Nicole asks what happened when he left the scene of the crash with her son. He wants to tell all ... but then Sloan cuts the conversation short. Nicole calls back but Sloan has Dimitri's phone im hand and does not accept. She suggests the judge could drop the charges today and sees she has a message ... EJ gets a call from the judge and smugly informs Leo the murder charge stays ... Sloan tells Dimitri she is sorry. He refuses to let Leo take the fall. She tells him the only way would be for HIM to turn himself in ... Tate texts Holly that Johnny is presently at the pub aloooone. She lies the text was from a pal wanting to meet so Nicole tells her to go cos she can handle everything on her own ... - Kayla believes Eric is being very kind having the test done to help Nicole overcome. She is coming over with her sample so medicine woman Kayla gets things ready. Eric worries ... Stalker Holly pretends to be surprised to see Johnny alone at the pub and sits with him while he waits for Chanel to return. She is pleased he is wearing her bracelet and wants to tell him a secret ... Nicole arrives with her bagged sample and thanks Eric. She asks to sneak a peek at the sleeping baby while Kayla worriedly watches ... Lady Whistleblower Leo warns EJ he has already won over the court of public opinion. EJ scoffs that is not even a court. Leo insists many are invested in his happiness. There will be calls for the dastardly D.A. to resign by the free lady whistleblower movement. EJ claims no one cares about him or his Dimitri ... Sloan reasons it was Dimitri driving anyway. She warns Leo could be facing life and EJ will wants him ruined. She suggests they therefore give EJ what he wants - Dimitri the driver who caused the death of the DiMera baby. But does he love Leo enough to save him from the wrath of EJ?! - Leo insists he has Dimitri's heart. EJ scoffs it was simply a fling to Dimitri and now here he is alone. Sloan sweeps in and announces Dimitri has agreed to turn himself in provided all charges against Leo are dropped ... Dimitri sighs he loves Leo enough to sacrifice himself. Knock knock ... Tate tries to prevent Chanel from heading back to the pub ... Holly complains to sympathetic Johnny about Nicole's state and boasts she suggested a DNA test to put her mom's mind at ease ... And so it comes to pass that Kayla takes the samples to the lab. Nicole gushes she is going to get proof it is her baby and Eric soap stares ... STAY TUNED! Luv Cathy |
