| Monday, December 14, 2009 All rights reserved. Link Only BIRD ON A WIRE! - Replay of Justin watching old friends Dan and Carly embrace. Dan asks if this was the woman to whom he was referring. Justin replies that is indeed the doctor. Carly gives him a dirty look. What did he tell Daniel about her? It is moot now, says he, as they are friends. Dan explains that it was Carly who introduced him to Rebecca and they also worked together. He will tell the board she is a brilliant doc! Justin walks away to take a call. Carly complains that he is trying to sabotage her. She and Dan play catch up. He has a second chance in love with Chloe. Carly would love to meet her. Dan invites her over for dinner this weekend. He gets paged away. Justin now saunters back and Carly accuses him of trying to kill her career She wants an apology! Justin, however, feels he did what was right. They disagree on whether Carly is at the root of Bope's problems. He thinks she is and would like her to leave town. They argue. Daniel comes back and would like a word with Justin. He does not appreciate Justin trying to influence the board and if he has anything to do with it, they will have Carly! Once Justin is gone, Carly smiles it is so good to see Dan. He is sorry about Justin. She calls him gallant for standing up for her, though she would rather not discuss the issues she and Justin have. Dan wonders why she stopped coming to conferences, practicing medicine. She uncomfortably admits it had to do with her husband. He might hear things about her past and she hopes he will keep an open mind. He will. She congratulates him on Chloe again. Rebecca would be so happy he has someone. - At the pub, Rafe admits to Ari he has no news. Sami sleeps little, eats little, and it is like losing a child all over again. Ari points out at least Nicole is behind bars. However, Nicole must be devastated at present, not knowing where Sydney is. Along comes Gaby. Rafe leaves to check in with Sami. Once he is gone, Gaby wonders if this Sami person is really worth all the trouble! Ari respects the fact that Rafe loves her. Gaby is not impressed with the creepiness of the situation. Ari calls it complex. Gaby worries that when the baby is found, EJ and Sami will reconcile, and she will dump Rafe. "What then?" Ari points out Rafe is in love and they cannot change his mind. Hopefully he does not get burned. Gaby mentions Brady and encourages Ari to call him, then goes off to hand out more posters. Ari considers, and whips out her phone. - In her jail cell,Nicole asks the female guard if she has any news on her baby, Sydney DiMera. No, but perhaps her visitor does. Click click click. Tis Chloe, who has been summoned. Nicole laments no one will update her on Syd and she is going insane! Chloe retorts so are Sami and EJ, and Syd is still missing. She is sorry Nicole is in such pain. Nicole is upset that her actions have possibly endangered Sydney. Chloe feels some sympathy for Nicole, who admits she originally just wanted to get one up on Sami Brady, her competitor. She then fell in love with EJ, but he never stopped loving Sami. Now their missing child will only draw them together. She reminds herself that it seems petty. All that matters is Sydney. The two old friends admit they miss each other. Nicole now requests a favor. Just one thing. Can she ask Brady to come and update her on Sydney? Chloe sighs. Nicole begs and calls her a good friend. Chloe will see what she can do and departs. Once alone, Nicole suddenly remembers hearing a female voice whispering to Sydney that everything will be alright. "Oh my God. The person who took Sydney is a woman!" - At DiMera mansion, Stefano looks out the window, casually talking on his phone. "All will be revealed very soon. Be patient and wait for further instructions." As he hangs up, Bo appears before him and asks who he was talking to. Stefano replies with sarcasm. Bo states he must know where his granddaughter is. Stefano says he is tortured and will be until he gets the child back where she belongs. He then orders the accusing commis to get out before he throws him out! Bo presses on. Stefano assures him he has no idea where Sydney is, and she means the world to him. Bo makes a comment about him keeping her real mother away from her. Stefano says he makes no sense. Bo then informs the phoenix that he is the ONLY suspect and should start talking. Stefano sighs. He knows no more than what Nicole has told them. And she is disturbed. He has his men on the job already. Commissioner Bo does not want his men anywhere near the case, but Stefano growls that without his resources, they will never find that child! Bo is surprised to hear that things are not good between EJ and fatha. He implies Stefano wishes to play the hero. Stefano denies it. He cares only about Sydney, not what others think. Bo soon tells him not to leave town and walks out. The phoenix pours himself a drink. "Fools. Every last one of them!" He woefully picks up a picture of Sydney. He has her best interests in his heart ... - Chez Sami, EJ enthusiastically tells her she is always able to push fatha's buttons and get him to say things he would not otherwise say. Sami thinks they should take action right away. And she knows exactly how to do it! She will get him mad and make him blurt out the truth. Elvis has doubts about the proposed approach, as that sounds dangerous. Enter Rafe who drawls Sami is right. "It's the only way to go!" Sami agrees with Rafe's idea of her wearing a wire, but EJ feels his father is too savvy. Rafe suspects that EJ does not want Sami to wear the wire, cos if the plan succeeds, he will really be betraying Stefano! Elvis quips he has no problem with that, though he is concerned for Samantha's well being. They assure him it is the only way and both guys will be there. Sami gets wired and the gang take their leave together, headed for the mansion, to carry out the plan. - Unseen Anna coos at Sydney the good girl as the baby sits happily on an elegant sofa, gurgling Ya when Anna promises they will bond. Later Syd is happy in her playpen. Anna hums and sits in a rocking chair, her face still not shown. She will make sure Sydney is very happy in her new life ... - Justin has summoned Bo to the festive Java Cafe for a meeting. Justin insists on discussing Carly. He knows she is only in town to destroy his marriage! Bo already is aware of the fact that she has applied for a job at the hospital. All he does for Carly is help her as a friend, there is nothing inappropriate. Justin reminds him that his marriage is presently in a vulnerable state. Bo thinks Justin should use his energy to focus on his own problems and stay out of his. Justin agrees to do just that, but does he mean it? - Wired Sami is at the DiMera door as EJ and Rafe lurk in the garden, wearing earphones so they will hear everything. Sami enters the living room, where Stefano rolls his eyes. He has no idea where Elvis is. Sami quips she is not there for EJ and wants him to give Sydney back."Where is she?" Stefano wants her to leave. She insists. Has she made herself clear! The phoenix is annoyed by how she is speaking to him. How dare she! She wants her daughter back. So does he and he calls her an idiot! He suggests she visit that maniac Nicole in jail. Sami says ripping the baby from her parents' arms is the lowest thing he has ever done. If he wants EJ's forgiveness, he will give her her daughter now. "Never!" says he. - Carly walks along the pier and gets a call from Dan. Things are looking good for her job application! Carly is all smiles, until she flashes back to Justin saying that he saw a connection between her and Bo, her wanting him back. Bo happens by and she blinks back to reality. He knows the latest, as Justin told him. Carly declares he should not believe him! - Back at DiMera mansion, Stefano says he cannot give Sami something he does not have. She says she loves her children, unlike him! Even the devil does not want him. He retorts she will live in hell because she will never see Sydney. "I'll make sure of that ...!" Next on Days of Our Lives "It was a woman who took Sydney!" Nicole informs Roman. Carly looks at Bo. "You've always understood me." Madame Vivian tells an elegant Hope "Anything to do with your marriage to Bo is my business." |
