| Wednesday, December 16, 2009 All rights reserved. Link Only THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA! - Rafe comes to Nicole's cell. He drawls Brady has given up on her. "I'm all you got." At this point, he hopes she does have Sydney! She exclaims she has no idea and she is in agony over it. It is her fault her baby is missing. She deserves to die! Rafe says she does not deserve to die. Nicole also blames him for Sydney being missing. Had he not set things in motion, Sydney would be with her father now. Rafe disagrees on her angle. Nicole warns Sami and EJ will bond over Sydney. He is unable to deny it when she states he must be feeling a bit out of the loop. Rafe unhappily tells her he wants to find the daughter of the woman he loves and starts to leave. Nicole stops him.There is something she would like to tell him. All she ever wanted was the best for Sydney and she still does. Rafe believes it. Nicole goes on to inform him of just what she remembers. There was a woman whom she heard speaking to Sydney when she left. No one believes her. Perhaps Rafe will and he will do something about it. He does believe her and acknowledges she loves Sydney. Nicole gets teary-eyed that Syd deserves to be in the place where she rightfully belongs. Rafe asks what else she remembers about the woman cos he needs more. Nicole considers. She is drawing a blank. Rafe tells her to take care and leaves. Nicole now remembers seeing a pair of leopard boots walking away and calls after Rafe to wait. - In an unknown house, Sydney plays by the fireplace, while Anna sits in an armchair. Eerie music is heard. She quietly reads the newspaper, which contains an article about the disappearance of Sydney DiMera. - At Java Cafe, Phil tells a beaming Mel funny Christmas party stories as they have coffee together Enter Nathan, looking uncomfortable. Phil later is determined to cheer up Mel, who has become glum. She feels like hiding in a corner. He suggests ice skating. No thanx and she is sorry she ruined their date with her mood. He charmingly says he enjoys being with her regardless of her mood. She decides to pick up some takeout and go to Maggie's to decorate the tree. He suggests a do over. How about Christmas? She sadly suggests he appreciate his family and spend Christmas with them, then leaves. - Nath has arranged to meet Steph at the festive pub and they sit near the tree. He needs to vent to a friend. He thinks she understands what he must be going thru, given the Mel and Phil relationship. Steph assures him she does not want to think about those two. Nath presses her to tell him why she and Phillip did not get married. "I wanted Phillip to be someone he wasn't." She sadly admits she had been deluding herself about him. And she knew that there could be other guys out there for her. She looks at Nath and he smiles. The mood gets light and the pair have a fun convo. Enter Mel, just as Nathan steps away to take a call. Mel wonders if they are on a date. Steph says no. Mel pries. Steph says she and Nath will be spending Christmas together and sips her coffee. Nath comes back. Mel looks unhappy, then forces a smile, and wishes them a wonderful evening and Christmas. Steph admits to Nath she told her they would spend Xmas together. He is baffled. She clarifies. The Bradys and Hortons always do midnight mass together. Steph admits she implied more and feels badly about it now. Nath thinks they should do more than midnight mass. They agree to meet up for the Horton and Brady Christmas ornament hanging. Nath smiles. Steph smiles that she wouldn't miss it! - At the Kiriakis mansion, Vic and Viv drink heavily bourboned eggnog. Vic quips she will get him plastered! Enter Kate. The barbs fly. Kate wishes to see Phillip, who is not there. Vivian smugly says they have reconnected, while Kate is dead to him. Vic suggests they stay in the holiday season and try not to be so b*tchy. He then excuses himself to get more eggnog. Viv claims she bonded with Philip all those years ago. Kate points out she stole her embryo! Viv toasts to the season. Victor returns. Kate leers at Viv that tis the season to kick her to the curb! She is surprised when Viv smugly brings up Stefano, her hubby who tried to kill Phillip, being in the slammer. "Merry Christmas dahling," adds Viv. Kate warns her to keep away from her son. Madame states she would protect her son from mommy dearest with her life. Phil comes along and is not pleased to see the ugly scene of bickering. The fur continues to fly between his two mamas. Phil glumly takes his leave. - Still stuck in the slammer, Stefano recalls EJ saying he was dead to him and asks the guard for a phone call. Immediately. - EJ gets off his phone as he walks into the DiMera living room, where Troy awaits. Troy thinks Arianna Hernandez will be a problem. - At Ari's, she tells Brady she will try a new approach. She calls Troy, who puts her on speakerphone. She wants to help the new shipment move along so that will make the boss interested in meeting her. EJ listens. - Brady is worried and thinks those guys are jerking Ari around, Ring ring! Tis Troy, instructing her to head to pier 37 alone. Brady thinks he should go with her. She explains he did not say she would meet the boss and says she must leave to attend to other things. Brady gives her a kiss before they part company. He vows to find a way to safely end this dangerous situation. - Meanwhile, at the mansion, EJ admits it makes one wonder when Troy says it is odd an ex FBI agent's sister is dealing. EJ informs him he will handle it. - Stefano has a visitor in the slammer - Kate. He blames Samantha and her pimp boyfriend and his own son for joining forces against him. Katherine is the only one he can trust and there is something she must do for him now. No time to waste! Tell his idiot son he has gone too far and he will pay! Putting him behind bars will not help them find that child faster! - At the house of Kiriakis, Viv assures Victor the latest scene will blow over. He doubts it. And Phillip has self-destructive behavior. She is sure it will all work out and in the end, how they will make both Kate and Carly squirm! Enter Brady. Viv excuses herself to talk to the cook. Victor asks where Brady has been. Cleveland, to help Sami find her baby. The Greek tycoon frowns. Was Arianna Hernandez there, too? Nothing good will come of being involved with a drug dealer! - Down at pier 37, Ari gives Troy a piece of her mind for not letting her meet the big boss. EJ lurks in the shadows, listening intently. He then approaches and tells Troy to scram, pretending he was concerned he was intimidating Ari. Troy leaves. Ari says he was her friend. EJ calmly states he did not look like a friend so why does she not tell him what is going on ... - Phil drops by Maggie's place to see baking Mel and laments about his crazy family. He thinks they should spend Christmas together. They can officially NOT celebrate it together! Mel is cheered up and wipes a bit of frosting from his handsome face He puts some on hers too. They kiss and he pulls away, realizing he should not push hard. Mel happily agrees not to celebrate Christmas together with him. - Back in the slammer, Nicole describes the mysterious leopard skin designer booties to Rafe. He departs with the info. Nicole ponders them as at another location, Anna (face still unseen) hands Sydney her bottle and walks past said designer booties, which belong to her ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "Damn it, Brady, tell me you're not using again!" snaps Vic. Rafe is on his phone, saying she's gone. "So comes as soon as you can." "We are gonna find Sydney!" Sami promises Will. |
