EJ insists they take him home but Nicole believes he needs her and suggests they go underground with the little lad. EJ seems to think she has snapped ... Paulina gets coffee for herself and Chanel, who suggests they Xmas shop together. The mayor, however, has much to do at City Hall. Chanel agrees to get new Xmas lights and Abe's fave stocking stuffers, teases her about Mistletoe and gets going to shop. He is happy to run into Chanel ...Chad regrets going after Everett and admits he cannot commit the way Steph seems to want. She agrees they should go their separate ways. Chad admits he is sad especially for the kids. She feels the same way. He hopes one day he will be able to fully be there for her and regain her trust. He tells her she can keep the apartment. He will go back to DiMera mansion with the children. Stephanie insists this is the kids' home as well. Chad thanks her. He reveals he rehired Everett cos he is the best and apologizes again for his jealous underhanded dealings. She is sorry too ... An artist is on the way. She cries and closes the door ... - Eric worriedly asks Harris how Nicole is. Sloan tells him to pay attention to their baby ... Rafe hears Nicole believed Sloan was a bad mother as she saw her leaving little Jude unattended at the square. She decided to take him home cos it felt right ... Chad brings by some files for Paulina, who is pleased to see him and asks about Steph. Alas he has no good news to report ... Steph meets Harris at the square and worriedly wonders about last night when she was wasted cos all she remembers is they kissed. Harris is sorry about that ... Tired Sloan wants to take their son home ... Rafe asks Nicole to explain what happened. Nicole softly admits she took the baby ...Alex is happy for Chanel when she announces she and Johnny reconciled. He is sorry about what happened with Allie and she notes some things were not meant to be ... - Chad has updated Paulina on his personal and professional breakup with Steph. Paulina will miss working with him cos he is a fun one. Chad felt fortunate to be in her fun orbit ... Harris states Steph got sick on her clothes so he gave her his shirt and put her to bed but they both passed out. He assures her nothing happened between them. She asks him to forget the mistake but he claims he cannot ... Mad Sloan calls Nicole delusional. Nicole apologizes and promises it will not happen again. Sloan demands the baby snatcher be locked up and warns D.A. EJ if he does not do so she will contact the state attorney general. EJ holds his unhappy beloved closer ... Paulina gives grateful Chad coloring books for the kids and calls him a caring dad. He believes there will be no one else after Steph and sighs Abigail was the one love of his life. Paulina suggests he still needs someone to love. She has been a single parent herself and knows how hard it can be. Chad just wants to focus on fatherhood ... - Harris informs Stephanie that he will not lie to Ava. She calls him a good guy. He tells her to take care and she wishes him the best before she goes ... Harris now calls bistro Ava because they need to talk ... Chanel comes home from Christmas shopping and worries when she finds Paulina asleep on the sofa ... Alex runs into Steph at the square and here comes Chad, who makes his own assumption ... The baby fusses. Eric insists they take him home and ushers Sloan out. As EJ holds upset Nicole, Rafe is sorry to say he must arrest her ... Outside Eric defends Nicole to Sloan and wishes the hellcat would be more forgiving ... EJ argues Nicole has been through hell. Rafe is sorry but he must follow the rules. Sloan returns and claims she momentarily forgot she had given Nicole permission to take the baby. Rafe does not buy it but EJ the D.A. accepts it. Rafe tells him Nicole needs help and she agrees she will get it. Eric tries to usher Sloan home. EJ promises Nicole they will be home soon and steps away to check with Rafe. Sloan slips back into the room once he is gone and hisses at Nicole if she ever comes near her baby again she will make her life hell! In fact she already has but Nicole does not know that ... yet.
