EJ insists he go back before he is spotted. Enter Johnny, who grins and wonders why Rafe is at the house ... Alex will see Phil at the family dinner. Phil doubts he will be welcomed by Xander but is pleased he and Alex are in a good place. So he says ... Kayla hugs her girl, happy to have her home for Christmas ... - Paulina orders Jada to keep her updated on the cupcake chaos or else. Then the boss lady says Merry Xmas and waltzes out ... Rafe agrees to keep helping Steve since John is away on his mysterious mission plus he does like the job. Steve calls him an asset. Rafe believes things will somehow work out for him with Jada ... Meanwhile at the mansion Fake Rafe acts confused and EJ pretends tis a joke Johnny reminds them they are sworn enemies. Fake Rafe boasts but he is the best. EJ grudgingly agrees ... Alex and Phil continue to glare and not blink as they behave like almost friends. Here comes Steph. Alex wishes her a Merry Xmas and goes on his way. She woefully watches and then smiles at Phil, who hopes he did not overstep. She teases she did kiss him back and he invites her to be his New Year date. She has no plans and accepts ... - Steve comes home to Kayla, who gives him a kiss, and complains Rafe did great work but almost quit. He hopes the job will not come between him and Jada ... Chez Rafe Jada and the ex commis apologize to one another. Paulina was peeved but they both believe they did the right thing. They exchange I love yous and a kiss ... Johnny calls the good vibes between EJ and Rafe a Christmas miracle and goes on his way. EJ is livid and orders the dastardly doppelganger to return to South America with the money he gives him.
