Justin gets a warm greeting at the Kiriakis mansion from Maggie and Sarah. Bonnie flew out to see Mimi and Emily. Here comes proud papa Xander with Victoria. Alex arrives with Teresa and Justin woefully greets him. Alex hugs him Merry Christmas. Maggie is gracious. Alex admits he is here to do right by papa Victor's memory. The redhead suggests peace ... Back at the pub the three wise men drink and discuss their respective lost relationships. Chad calls Steph irresistible. Everett calls her wonderful. Harris asks him about himself. She invites him for dinner since his flight leaves in several hours and asks Teresa to tell Henderson to set another place. Konstantin is smug as a bug but he is only getting started with his latest scheme ... - Back at the pub the drinking buddies keep talking ... Ava gets mad at Stefan, who snaps she has done nothing to help solve their problem. She suggests they focus on the task but this time Stefan refuses to reject this drug delivery cos Clyde is a clear and present danger to Gabi ... Justin suggests a toast in Victor's honor. Maggie asks Konstantin to say something in Greek. He does and translates may his memory be eternal. They all raise their glasses. Konstantin admires the baby so Xander steps away with her. When Konstantin heads into the hall to talk to Teresa, Xander comes back and admits to Sarah he is relieved that one is leaving. Sarah too but she knows mama Maggie will miss him ... Konstantin laughs to Teresa he has no intention of leaving town or giving up on Maggie. She will soon see ... Everet wonders when Harris mentions his latest case. Potent drugs are on the increase in Salem and he senses a new player in town. His boss the commiss is feeling the pressure, which gets handed down to him. Everett suggests their situations are similar regarding investigative work and seems very interested ... Ava and Stefan feel even less lucky when a black cat crosses their path (which is actually good luck in some cultures so Days should stop picking on black cats because black rescue cats are tragically harder to find homes due to all the superstitious nonsense) Back to the story ... Stefan suggests it would have been helpful if Ava had gotten some scoop from ex boyfriend Harris with whom she broke up. She wanted to protect him from any fallout. The presumed delivery pulls up in the back alley ... - Alex complains about all the warm and fuzzy emails he has to send the Titan staff. Maggie blasts him for the bad attitude and suggests Victor would want her back running Titan. Xander seconds that and also offers to consult. Alex calls him the ex gardener. Xander states he was still the better CEO ... Konstantin tells Teresa to watch and proceeds to contort, twist and injure his ankle with his other foot ... Alex and Xander hurl insults at one another. Justin orders them to stop but they do not. Brady wishes they would act like adults as it is Christmas. All of a sudden Konstantin howls in pain and hobbles into the living room. He claims he tripped on the stairs and hurt his ankle. Maggie asks medicine woman Sarah to take a look. Tis swollen and she orders an Xray in the morning. That means no flight tonight. He lies he does not want to be a burden but Maggie insists he stay until he has that Xray. Brady is exasperated and so is Xander ... Teresa asks Justin how everything is. Alas he is unhappy as Alex is distant. She assures him Alex loves him as a father so nothing changed. Justin sighs it has changed for Alex ... - The fake bags of flour have been dropped off outside. Stefan and Ava hope no narcs will show up ... Chad wants to check on his kids. Everett calls them sweet. Harris now gets a call about a transaction happening. Everett wants to come along. Not this time. Everett hands him his card and asks him to call if anything goes down. Harris agrees and gets going ... Sarah has checked the ankle and tells Konstantin about RICE. Rest Ice Compress Elevate. She now tends to the crying baby with Xander, who believes a ride in the car could help. They head out together ... Alex wishes sad Justin a Merry Christmas and leaves with Teresa. Maggie asks for ice so Justin goes to get some. Alone with Konstantin she complains her peace plans did not succeed. He calls family our greatest strength and weakness. She smiles he sounds like Victor ... Everett wants to discuss the drugs with Chad, who has been reading about the trending overdoses. Everett suggests folks might confide in a reporter more than a cop. Chad grins and agrees with Mr. Intrepid reporter ... Stefan gets the pills out of one of the flour bags, Ava at his side.
