She now regrets not giving Tate a chance ... Rafe talks tamales as a family tradition. Jada is impressed and sorry he misses Gabi. He plans to visit her with some and she praises the good big brother. He vows to find the real culprit who offed Li and bring his sister home ... - Melinda sits on the bench with Wendy and repeats how sorry she is for the loss of Li. She admits they played games. Wendy accuses her of making moves just for a confession. Melinda regrets her actions. They both think it sad how Li fell from grace with Gabi in the name of love. She suggests a distraction like a trivia Xmas game and asks him to name Santa's reindeer. The giggles ensue and he gets her to sing. Then she impresses him with her Spanish. Time to make those tamales ... - Ava claims she did not buy Harris' excuse about the other girl he kissed. Harris, however, believes that was just her excuse cos she is in love with Stefan ... Holly feels unworthy. Tate teases he got her a birthday gift, which he just dropped in the trash. He fishes the old book out and gives her the first edition of Pride and Prejudice. She loves it and wonders whether he would still like to go on that date ... Chef Rafe brings the tamales to Jada in bed and they get her seal of approval. He hopes Gabi will be home for next Christmas. Then he admits he made them yesterday and reheated them. Speaking of reheating ... Ava denies loving Stefan but lies to Harris they just started seeing one another. Harris is hurt. She states Stefan reminds her of Jake. Her phone alert beeps to remind her of dinner with Tripp. Harris looks crushed. She tragically tells him she will treasure their time together and walks away. Harris sadly sighs ... Wendy agrees with Melinda that love is everything and suggests tis not too late. Alas she feels unworthy but praises Wendy for all her wonderful qualities. Wendy thanks her and asks her advice. She is torn between love and duty with her folks. Melinda deduces her Chinese parents need her now. Father especially and mother wants her to move back to China. Melinda asks if tis what she wants. Tripp appears with the hot chocolate ... - Stefan is carrying more flour when Harris announces Ava told him the truth. Stefan suggests she is delusional. Harris warns him not to drag Ava into something and suggests he is to blame for wife Gabi going to prison. Stefan sighs where is this going? Harris warns he is watching him and walks away ... After the lovin Rafe and Jada pillow talk. She lets him know she never felt like this. Not even with her ex? No for she feels safe with Rafe ... Purple sweater Holly waits with bated breath. Tate teases he could wait but will not so how would Holly like a date at the bistro? She says yes and they agree on a fresh start ... Ava joins Tripp and Wendy at the square. Alas she was unable to prepare a dinner this year due to the busy bistro but they have a reservation. Tripp bears news. Wendy has decided to move to China and he will be going with her.
