Arnold listens from the other room with a glass ... Ava gets another stay away from Brady text at the square and snaps at Kristen but tis not Kristen who approached her. Tis Sophia's mother ... When Tate opens the door ready to drive off with Sophia, upset Holly demands an explanation. She tells him off for taking a joyride with another girl ... Ava apologizes and eventually recognizes Amy Choi aka Sophia's old fashioned mom. Sophia forgot her retainer and mom asks her to give it to her. Mom is surprised when Ava lets it slip Sophia is not working today oooo ... - Fake Rafe listens at the shut door as EJ tries without success to get rid of Rafe, who was hired by Ava to track her threatening texts. EJ dismisses him so Rafe reveals Steve traced said texts to the DiMera mansion ... Shawn is shocked the mayor could fire EJ and Belle could replace him. But he is happy for Belle, who swears him to secrecy. He mentions her history with EJ and she gets testy ... Jada states her case to Paulina, who is perturbed that Hattie walked after EJ blundered. She knows EJ has his own ulterior motives ... EJ gets indignant. Rafe reveals Kristen is the main suspect. EJ scoffs to go speak to her at DiMera. Rafe also wants to know ... - Ava realizes she made a mistake and covers for teen Sophia, whom she calls responsible and wonderful. Amy wonders whether she noticed any change in her as she has been sleeping more and not wanting to talk about her friends. She knows about Tate breaking her heart. Ava tries to cover but Amy senses her daughter has been seeing Tate Black behind her back ... Holly confronts Tate and Sophia for sneaking around and rages he lied about their trip. Tate goes silent. Sophia snaps they are getting an abortion ... Ava politely suggests Amy speak to Sophia. Amy asks her to at lest tell her what happened between her daughter and Tate ... Holly is aghast. Tate wants to explain alone. Sophia walks out and warns when she returns they are leaving ... Tate stammers he assumed they were careful and admits he only just found out. Holly asks if he is sure it is his. Tate thinks it is and now realizes he was wrong not to tell her. Sophia wanted it to be a secret and they were going to take care of it at an out of state clinic. Holly woefully concludes he would never have told her ... - Belle gets mad about Shawn mentioning her old fling with EJ. She believes now that Claire no longer needs her, she can help Salem cos EJ is selectively prosecuting. She, however, is always on the right side of the law. Shawn gushes she would be a better D.A. ... Jada senses EJ is avoiding cases especially those with DiMera connections. Paulina sighs she has avoided rocking the DiMera boat for the stress would be passed down to Chanel and Johnny, who have already endured their fair share of DiMera drama ... Rafe explains to cackling EJ he was hired to find the imposter Lady Whistleblower. Hattie was the wrong suspect and he reminds EJ his son is a B and S director. EJ laughs he is not a suspect. Rafe explains he came to speak to Johnny and Chanel. They are not home. All of a sudden doppelganger Rafe drops his glass. Real Rafe gets suspicious. EJ makes light of the sound of something that could be expensive breaking. Rafe suggests he go see. EJ refuses and Rafe wonders what he is hiding behind those closed living room doors ... - Paulina is torn. Jada is just concerned about keeping Salem safe and crime free. Paulina sighs EJ must go but she needs someone to step in fast. Jada gushes she already got Belle Black. Paulina agrees they can offer her the job and refuses to let EJ threaten her again ... Shawn and Belle agree they can get along working together ... Tate tries to console Holly and promises a happy ending. He now needs to drive Sophia upstate ... Sophia worriedly wonders why Ava and her mom are having a heated discussion. She worries what Ava told her. Amy demands to know if she kissed that boy Tate. Sophia realizes she does not know about the baby and pretends she and Tate kissed once but now he is back with Holly. Amy knows she is not being honest. Sophia angrily snaps she and Tate did more than just lock lips! Ava calmly suggests they all go inside. Amy reminds her daughter she does not believe in s-e-x before marriage. Sophia starts to feel sick. Ava cannot stop the mad mom, who wants to take her to an OBGYN. Sophia gasps tis too late and takes off to hurl ... - Holly reminds Tate that Sophia's folks are super strict and cannot know. Tate must be there for Sophia at this time. Holly wonders whether she and Tate were not meant to be but he insists nothing can come between them. They exchange I love yous and he promises to come home soon ... EJ angrily accuses Rafe of trespassing. Rafe senses his nervousness. EJ tells the non commissioner to get the hell out and opens the door. Rafe walks out but not very far ... EJ slams the door and blasts his house guest for the noise. He must leave before Rafe sees him. Ring ring! Tis Paulina, who orders D.A. EJ to Jada's office in ten minutes. Alas he must leave and orders his houseguest to hide while he is away. When he comes back they will discuss his departure to Argentina. After he storms out the front door Rafe emerges from the bushes and vows to uncover what he is hiding ooooooo - Long faced Sophia returns to Tate and tells him they cannot go. Enter Amy, who is there to take charge, which she legally can do ... Shawn hopes Belle will be Salem's new great D.A. cos she would be better than EJ, who smugly comes along on his way to a meeting. EJ enters Jada's office and wonders wot he can do for the ladies. Paulina smugly informs him he is no longer D.A. ... Meanwhile Rafe picks the DiMera lock and gets in. He heads for the living room and spies a black robe on the floor. Then he hears someone complaining to himself and turns to find himself face to face with his doppelganger! This will not end well ...
