Joy fumes in her room remembering how she saw Steph and Alex together. Here he comes ... Bonnie is sitting in her wheelchair at the hospital when Johnny approaches. He had to spend the night but the antidote did the trick. He asks how she is doing. Bonnie is relieved they rewired her jaw but still spooked to see the elevator. Johnny assures her Whitley will not hurt them or the show anymore ... Elegant Kate gets to work and assures phone Roman she was lucky enough not to get targeted. Then she sees her headshot with a big red X on the desk. It makes the diva gasp. She assures Chicago Ro she is fine and says to give Rex her best. Abe arrives and assures her they have Whitley at Bayview. But the situation is grave and they must act ... - Seth greets Bonnie and tries to get her to sign a disclaimer. Johnny suggests she not sign ... Steph informs mama Kayla she is separating her career and personal life. Kayla is happy to hear she and Alex are happily together again. Alas Steph will not be able to work with mom at B and S ... Joy cannot forget how her hero saved her life. Alex sighs he and Steph happened to arrived in time. She gives him a grateful clingy hug. Alex cringes cos he is back with Steph ... Leo is done pillow fluffing and wants to return to his script. Charlemagne hears she will soon be replaced with a lookalike. Joy cannot wait for Valentine's Day tomorrow and invites Alex to dinner since he saved her. He hesitates and she wonders whether he does not want to go out with her ... Steph updates Kayla on clingy Joy, how she too was poisoned so Alex has not had the heart to tell her that they reconciled ... - Elegant Kate insists the show go on regardless of Whitley. Abe reasons Justin is threatening to sue and there could be others. This will not work. Kate wonders what he means. He means there is one simple solution ... Johnny suggests Seth just let Bonnie show the legal document to Justin before she signs. Seth warns if she sues then the show will be toast. They are counting on her. Johnny now gets a text. Seth does too. A meeting for cast and crew has been called. Here come Hattie and Leo, who were also summoned ... Kayla now gets the text about the last minute meeting ... Joy and Alex now get the same text. She wants to go with him so he steps out for a wheelchair ... Johnny makes light of the meeting while the gang wait. Kayla and Steph run into Joy and Alex. Steph says she is happy to see she is better. Joy is aware that Alex and Steph found her together ... Abe arrives with Kate, who is glad to see Bonnie. She assures her Whitley is locked up. Hattie wants to know when they can start working. Kate points out she and Abe must make a safe working environment. They are therefore pulling the plug on the show. So many sad faces and questions! Abe apologizes. Kate reasons returning to the show would be too risky. They wonder what will happen to the story. Abe explains the story does not end. Kate adds the network wants to keep the show, will actually buy the rights and produce it in L.A. keeping the entire cast - but they would have to move to California. Oooo. Everyone knows Salemites do not like to leave Salem ... - Kayla and Steph are Back in the medicine woman's room. Here comes Bonnie. Kayla cannot not be the recast in California cos she is needed at the hospital. Bonnie is relieved she will still have her job and will discuss the situation with Justin. She assumes Alex and Joy the hot young stars will be courted by the network. Meanwhile Alex is in Joy's room. She innocently assumes they will both accept their L.A. offer. Alex sighs ... Leo wonders what the gang will do. Hattie intends to go Hollywood. Johnny notes now would not be the right time for him and Chanel to leave. Leo does not wanna leave Javi. Johnny reminds him as the writer he could work from Salem ... Kate can see Abe is unhappy and tries to be upbeat. She notes the network did give them that profit. Abe loved the rewarding experience. He and Kate were a great team. She gets out a bottle and pours them each a toast. They drink to Body and Soul. Now onto the next adventure ... Leo joins the bosses and thanks them for the writing gig. Abe praises the power of his pen. Leo plans to stay in Salem and write for Los Angeles. Alas the producers decided to replace him as head writer ... Hattie hopes to work with Bonnie in L.A. Bonnie must discuss with Justin. Hattie notes they could conquer California like Laverne and Shirley and offers to keep a dressing room warm. Both have tears in their eyes. Parting is such sweet sorrow … Back in her room catty little Joy acts like Alex will accept the offer cos he has no job. He reminds her he has family here … She bitterly wonders whether he really wants to stay for Stephanie … Seth informs Kayla and Steph he is accepting the California gig cos acting is his calling.
