Friday, February 14, 2014 Episode 12,276 - Hope shares the news with Dan, Nicole and Eric at Dan’s apartment. Homeland Security used facial recognition technology to track the elusive Dr. Chyka all the way to ... exotic Morocco. Dan is dismayed there is no extradition treaty between Morocco and the U.S. Eric gasps he will never clear his name now but Dan has an idea! They had filmed Dr. Chyka's impromptu interrogation. He asks Nicole if he revealed any detail or anything they could use. Eric is nervous and hopeful at the same time. Nicole nervously flashes back to finding the records of the dastardly doc in his wall safe. She lies there was nothing. Nothing. Dan decides they should head back to the cabin and keep searching.. Hope sighs someone beat them to it. There was nothing left when the cops checked out the cabin. Nicole bites her lip and glances at the envelope within her reach. - At the apartment, Will thanks Gabi on the phone and promises to tell her when she can return. He takes a deep breath and notes Sonny should be getting it now! Meanwhile Sonny has gotten a special delivery at the club. In the Valentine's box is a photo album of Sonny and Will, signed love Will. Sonny smiles at the leather book, with Will's message he loves him, and heads home for that is the place is he supposed to be! - JJ nervously fixes his tie at Horton house. Abigail helps, assuring him there is no reason to fret. He will get probation from the judge. JJ blinks, not knowing what to expect. - Theresa admires an expensive designer purse in a shop window at the town square and sighs. In her vixen view, JJ ruined things for her. She runs into Brady outside and the lonely rich guy in black and blue tells her to let it go! She insists she loves the purse. He laughs good things come to those who wait. Theresa laughs and thanks him for the cliché. She suggests they meet later chez Dan. Brady drawls no can do, for Dan the man is back. Theresa's face lights up like a Christmas tree. - Aiden the solemn suited lawyer arrives to represent JJ in lieu of Justin. Jen and Abigail are anxious. He admits there was a hiccup as someone sent a letter to the judge that the boy deserves no break! Jen asks who! The owner of the shop he trashed, though she suggested community service. Jen is mighty relieved and wants a word alone with the newly appointed lawyer. JJ and Abigail make for the courthouse. Jen asks if her son could go to jail. She knows not what she would do! - Sonny enters the romantic apartment and notices Will is wearing the shirt he gave him for Christmas. It appears Valentine's Day made the cut! Will announces this day is much more than Valentine's Day and they kiss in bliss. - Maggie and Victor return home from the museum. The redhead is pleased he treated her on Valentine's Day. He downplays his devotion to her in his usual gruff manner. She soon has to go to court, to show her support for Jen and JJ. Victor wishes her luck. He has a meeting with Brady regarding Titan business. She suddenly implores him to convince his train wreck of a grandson to get into rehab, the sooner the better! The Greek grimaces. - Theresa and Brady go their separate ways after she teases her new buddy that they need to find a new place for drinking in secret. He insists his drinking is no secret. - Eric steps out to update Father Matt on his phone. Hope worries about him. Nicole suddenly excuses herself to shower before work, grabbing the envelope. Dan assures Hope that Nicole's heart was in the right place with the Chyka misadventure. Hope's eyes are filled with suspicion. Nicole takes the envelope into the bathroom and looks at the medical records and notes that could save Eric's reputation. She flashes back to his profession of love and desire to spend his whole life with her. She is truly torn. - Sonny admires the photo album in the candlelight and marvels at the depth of Will's thoughtfulness. He feels his gift will pale in comparison as he hands it to him. Will eagerly opens it and gushes about the book by E.M. Forster. A gay love story about MAURICE set in early 20th century England. It was published only after the author's death. Being gay used to be illegal back then in England. Will knows. Sonny holds him in his arms and notes they are lucky. People now are more accepting. Will adds in some places. He just loves the gift! Sonny is glad. Will suddenly states there is another page for the photo album. Tis an announcement that Sonny reads out loud - February 14, 2014 the day Will finally wised up and said YES! Sonny gazes at him. - Hope lists why what Dan and Nicole did was illegal. She now steps out for a cop call. Eric is back and thanks dismal Dan, who regrets the lack of success on the mission. They were so close! Eric is more pragmatic about God's mysterious plan. Dan the man of science refuses to accept the explanation. Eric starts to blurt out that he has had a revelation ... Nicole, now dressed for work, appears and interrupts. She would like a word with Eric. Alone. - Aiden assures jumpy Jennifer that Justin previously made a deal with the D.A, which he is confident will still be accepted. He understands her concern, having a son of his own. They agree to go face the music and depart together. - Abigail and JJ meet dapper Abraham at the courthouse. JJ is admittedly anxious. Abe assures him papa Jack would be proud that he turned his life around. Abe thinks it will go smoothly and steps out when his phone rings. Suited JJ feels like he has firecrackers in his stomach so Abigail goes to fetch him a bottle of water. He sighs, alone. Enter Theresa in her little black dress, musing this is just like old times! JJ stares darkly. - Sonny seeks clarification on that YES. Will gushes he means yes to Sonny, yet to THEM! Sonny stands up and points out he said he wanted to wait. Will insists he knows his mind. Yes, things are crazy with Nick and the evidence but why should one wait to fix things that may never be fixable? "Sonny Kiriakis, I would love to marry you." The seal the deal with a passionate kiss. - Victor refuses to throw rehab in Brady's face despite his belligerence. It would accomplish squat. The redhead pouts and begs to differ. The big Greek reminds her the boy is staying at the corporate suite and the cameras indicate no substance abuse. Maggie insists the alcohol is his addiction and he is being deceptive! Victor thinks he knows what he is doing. She certainly hopes so because Brady's life depends on it! - At the town square, Brady the deceived almost groom mulls over calling brother Eric until he remembers how he reminds him of Kristen. He grimaces and keeps walking. - Eric emotionally thanks Dan for what he has done and the two men shake hands. Dan stammers wait, it is not over! Detective Hope reminds Nicole she will require her statement soon. Nicole knows and walks out with Eric. Hope informs Dan that with Chyka gone, no one will be able to press charges against them but next time call the cops! Dan suddenly asks for a favor. - JJ demands to know what Theresa the terrible is doing at his sentencing hearing. She coos she had to pay a parking ticket and dropped by to show her support. He questions her claim and warns her she will be sent right back to jail if she causes trouble for him. He will make sure of it! The she devil concedes she knows she lost. Enter Abigail, the prim sister in pink. She righteously demands to know why Theresa is even here. Theresa the terrible quips she was wishing her brother good luck. Perhaps they will both get what they want on this day! - At the house of Kiriakis, a meeting has ended. Brady boasts to Victor they will blow away the competition and he stands up to get the martinis flowing. Victor notes it is early. Brady hopes there is no problem. - Nicole walks and talks with Eric at the town square. She suggests he wait before telling the whole world he is leaving the priesthood. He explains but he has already informed the bishop and Father Matt. She points out he did not resign in writing yet and adds they should wait and reevaluate. Eric blinks in bewilderment. - Dan would appreciate an update on JJ's hearing today. Hope muses he still loves Jen! She adds he deserves his happiness and promises to text him a report. Then she goes. Dan is thinking ... - The hearing gets underway. The judge informs JJ how much shoplifting among teens has been on the increase. It rather makes him want to set an example! Legal eagle Aiden clears his throat and argues the deal was approved before. The judge cannot deny he abided by the terms but a couple of months of not getting caught is not much of an accomplishment. Jen and Abigail wait with bated breath. His Honor orders the young man to stand up and tell the court what he has to say for himself. And so he does. - Will and Sonny lie in bed and Sonny dreamily calls this the best day of his life. He corrects himself. It is his second best day, the best day was when baby Ari was born and he held her in his arms for the first time. There will never be anything like it! Will reminds him he is going to be her stepdad. He admits he has not yet informed Gabi of his intent to wed. Sonny wonders how she will react. Will is confident she is going to be fine with it, given they worked things out. They agree they will all share Ari. Sonny sweetly questions if Will did not just get swept up in the spirit of Valentine's Day. Will chuckles no, he has had this on his mind since the day he proposed. Marrying Sonny is right! In fact, how about they do it today! - Victor sighs Brady earned his drink and watches as he downs it. Brady notices him noticing. Victor announces no more drinks today. That will prove he has no problem. Brady the boozer laughs grandfather does not trust him. Victor points out it is 10:30 am! Brady storms out, ignoring the Titan boss' reminder that they have more work to do. - Eric gets insecure. Nicole assures him she loves him. However, if the evidence he needs somehow magically appears ... She feels they should not rush things. Eric breathes he already did his soul searching and knows exactly how he feels. Besides, the evidence is gone with the wind! Nicole clutches her studded leather designer bag which contains the envelope that could change everything. She insists they should wait. Eric the devoted tenderly touches her face and disagrees, for he has caused both her and the church enough pain. She sacrificed too much for too long and has been too selfless! Nicole cringes with guilt. - JJ solemnly stands up, his new lawyer at his side, and confesses he has made mistakes since returning from England. Maggie and Jen and Abigail are listening. He places his hand on his heart and dramatically declares he turned his life around thanks to his mom, sister, and the whole Horton family. He yearns to repay them by being a better person. He loves his family. Abe appears touched. They all are. The judge snaps enough, he is prepared to pass the sentence. - Sonny the Greek tells Will to slow down. They have to make this wedding fantastic and inclusive of the family. He seems to think the bigger the better. Will thinks it sounds good, but no long, dragged out engagement like EJ and Sami! Sonny wonders whether all of Will's family will be supportive. Without a doubt. And Sonny's? Sonny senses they will all be on board, though Adrienne could still be a bit of a wild card. Sonny talks guest list, with all the relatives. EXCEPT FOR NICK! they both laugh. Will gathers there is much planning to do. Sonny thinks it can wait for a while and they kiss in bliss. - Brady the lovelorn is drowning his sorrows at the club. He downs his drink and sighs. Then he pays the bill and rushes out, a man in a hurry with no real destination. - Eric must meet with Father Matt and promises to call Nicole. She takes his hand and asks if he really no longer wants to be a priest in his heart of hearts. He praises her for caring about him so much and smiles he knows his mind. He seductively murmurs he wants to be more than friends, so much more, but stops short of kissing her as his Church resignation is not yet official. Nicole melts. He drawls he will call her, his voice rich with promise, and departs, fading from view. Nicole sits down on the bench nearby and takes the envelope out of her studded designer bag, begging God for a sign. - The judge is stern but believes JJ seems sincere. Therefore, the deal stands. One year probation and 100 hours of community service. The courtroom erupts with the happy yelps of the Horton women. JJ assures his mother he meant every work. Aiden walks out, holding his phone as he leaves Justin a message that JJ got the deal ... Hope comes racing around the corner and they collide. Literally. She gasps how many times must she say she is sorry! Maggie emerges and gushes Aiden was JJ's lawyer and saved the day. Hope had no idea, her eyes twinkling. Aiden comes close to smiling at the pretty brunette. - Abe praises JJ and tells the young man his father is smiling. Abigail says JJ should smile too. He flashes back to Theresa's strange statement that they both might both get what they want today and stares, sensing a scheme. - Theresa bursts into Dan’s apartment, ignores his attempts to get rid of her and insists he help her foggy head understand what happened that night. They have to do this NOW. He slams the door and glares at the girl who is wearing her best distressed face. Let the games begin! END |
