She thanks him for the break, then sits and holds her mother's hand, remembering her words of wisdom. Abe calls Paulina his hero. Chanel seconds that ... EJ is at his desk when Johnny appears, followed by well dressed Nicole, who reveals Holly is in her room ... Chad and Everett have both been summoned to the station and Everett asks about the kids. They are dealing with the aftermath of the Horton fire. Chad has been busy trying to deal with contractors and wonders why they were summoned. Everett realizes he has not spoken to Steph and wants him to know ... Enter intense Jada. Chad asks if they are here on account of Lucas' article. She says they are here cos of Lucas' attempted murder! Chad worries so Jada states Lucas is alright. They are gathering intel as the shooting happened the same night of the fire and the shooting of Harris. She suspiciously states only a few were aware of Lucas' location and suggests someone said too much! - Abe comes back from the library which alas did not have Paulina's fave - Pride and Prejudice. Chanel feels tis unfair mama suffered a heart attack. Abe quotes her - the Lord does not give us what we cannot handle. Enter medicine woman Kayla ... Johnny is surprised Holly was allowed to fly and come home and believes she must be better. Nicole is hopeful her daughter will soon wake up and EJ stands by her. Johnny is happy to have them home. Nicole asks about Paulina. She and EJ are shocked to hear about the post op heart attack. Johnny explains the coronary artery was unblocked so it looks better than before. He now announces he has more news. EJ gets himself a drink but Johnny says it should be champagne cos he and Chanel wed at Paulina's bedside. Nicole and EJ congratulate the happy groom and EJ gives his blessing. Johnny is grateful. EJ wonders where they want to stay in the family mansion. Johnny admits they have been busy with Paulina and will probably get their own place. EJ hugs his son, who would now like to see stepsister Holly... - Chad reasons he would never put his family at risk. Jada turns to Everett, who also denies any wrongdoing. Lucas was the one who made the call to Chad and Everett was there too. Everett only learned who they were meeting after they got to the pub. Jada suggests someone overheard and gets hostile toward Everett. Chad notices and repeats himself. Jada knows about the visit to Clyde too and demands answers ... Abe thanks Kayla for everything. Kayla bears both good and not so good news. Abe asks about the good news first. Madam Mayor is recovering well from surgery but the heart attack had some damage and scar tissue could occur. That means a long road to recovery with rehab, which might not be enough due to the damage. She might require a heart transplant. Chanel gasps. Paulina stirs and wonders what is happening ... - Johnny visits sleeping Holly and has not forgotten they have more fencing lessons to do. He misses her, life is hectic, but he will continue to visit ... Everett argues he and Chad are just journalists who wanted to talk to Clyde. Chad argues they were after facts and insists to sarcastic Jada he would want nothing more to do with Clyde, given what he did to Abigail. Jada gives Mr. Stein a hard time and Everett reminds her the name is Lynch. He too wants nothing to do with Clyde. She warns him his word means nothing and will wait until one of them tells her something she can believe ... Johnny stands when Nicole and EJ enter and he hopes Holly could hear him. He wishes he had been able to help her before but Nicole and EJ insist he is not to blame. EJ bitterly blames Tate. Nicole wants only positive words for Holly so she comes back ... Chanel gushes mama is awake. Paulina sighs barely and feels fatigued. She asks how her darling daughter is enjoying wedded bliss. Kayla talks ice chips so Chanel goes for some. Kayla gives Abe and his wife their privacy. Paulina assures Abraham she is not leaving, she will love him to the moon and back for a loooong time ... - Curt Jada excuses herself to make some calls. Chad wonders why Jada gave Everett such a tough time and called him by another name. Everett sighs he has something to tell him ... Downstairs again, EJ asks his son how married life feels the second time. Johnny gushes he is lucky and notes he needs to change before returning to the hospital. Nicole promises they will pray for Paulina. EJ insists he is still here for his son and they exchange I love yous and an embrace ... Abe wants to make Paulina comfier. She wants him to promise her that he will look after her girls and be there for them. He does just that for sweetheart and adds she will be there for her girls and their children and he will be right at her side. Tis his promise ... Chad is appalled that Everett actually went by another name and did not remember much. He fumes he forgot his wife but not Stephanie! Everett shouts he does not remember being married and admits he was Jada's hubby Bobby Stein. Chad blasts him for breaking Steph's heart again. He also blasts him for disrespecting their relationship. Everett reminds him he told Steph he was not ready to commit. Chad rages at the fraud and calls him poor Stef's psycho ex. Jada comes back. Chad tells Everett he makes him sick and assures Jada he is not leaving town anytime soon. Then he storms out ... - Chanel admits to Kayla she is scared. Kayla believes her fighter mom will make it and goes on her rounds. Leather jacket Johnny arrives. He assures upset Chanel her mom has all their support, not to mention the high success rate of heart transplants. Eli calls ... Everett calmly apologizes for not remember being with Jada. She scoffs it means nothing and remembers how he charmed her at the farmers market where they first met. He updates her on working with Dr. Evans and insists he wants to remember. She would rather forget everything and walks out after reminding him to stay in Salem ... Paulina and Abe are sharing a sweet moment when Chanel comes back with Johnny and announces Lani has been released and will be in Salem with Eli tomorrow! Paulina and Abe rejoice ... Nicole and EJ praise sleeping Holly and kiss her on the head. Time to say goodnight and they leave the room hand in hand. Holly moves her fingers, almost ready to wake up and raise a little hell!
