Monday, February 3, 2014 Episode 12,267 - JJ dreams of waking up to Theresa and her sexy cuffs in bed as she purrs he is going to jail! He wakes up for real on Horton couch and sighs. Ding dong! Tis Rory and Bev and Rory is pumped. - In the office, Theresa the terrible examines her new fake ID as Abigail and wonders if it is too suspiciously simple. She places a call and decides to go to a store where there are no security cameras. Rory meanwhile tells JJ that Theresa has taken the bait! Back at work, Theresa opens her office door and boss lady Anne wants to know where she is going. This is no time for breaks! Theresa complains about her low wage, then offers to follow up on Daniel. Anne informs her the good doctor appears to be MIA, though he is not with the fair Jen. Theresa is intrigued. - Adrienne is at the hospital seeking an audience with Jen. Abigail appears and announces she is in a meeting. She now accuses her aunt of spying on her and EJ and spreading gossip! EJ comes around the corner, fresh from his board meeting, and watches unseen. Abigail wonders what she believes she saw. Their intense discussion over a book. Abigail insists it was about papa Jack’s book. EJ just read and enjoyed it as did others. Adrienne quips but EJ has no taste. Abigail emotionally advises her to keep an open mind, refers to him as her friend, continues to defend him, and tells her off for going behind her back. She storms off and Adrienne gets in the elevator, somewhat rattled by the overreaction. Suited EJ goes after Abigail for a little chat. - At the house of Kiriakis, Victor and Maggie question what Brady is doing. He slyly slips Dan's key into his jean pocket and accuses them of watching his every move. This is intolerable! He should move out! He acts indignant and vows to prove drinking is no problem as they have suggested. - Replay of Nick's new bff showing up at the pub with a friendly GREETINGS! Tis the watcher in the woods, the birdman who bore witness to Kate, Sami, and Gabi that fateful night down by the river. Nick stands up, shakes his hand, and introduces Kate to his good friend Percy Ruggles. Percy is amused they meet again! Nick feigns surprise that they coincidentally know each other. Kate looks like a cornered cat. Nick not-so-innocently wonders how they crossed paths. Most recently when Percy played Santa. Kate purrs she would like a moment alone with Nick. Once Percy pleasantly steps away, she demands to know what Nick's game is, her eyes flashing. - Victor steps in and smoothly suggests a swanky corporate suite for Brady. Naturally he would still be a Titan employee. Brady thanks him. The Greek will have the suite prepared as grandson packs. Brady goes to get ready. The Greek reminds the redhead they will be able to monitor his every move in that suite, thus keeping him safe. Perhaps he will even be motivated by the respect and responsibility he was given. - Jumpy JJ worries that operation takedown Theresa could still backfire and shares his fear with his friends. Knock knock! Bev tells him he must answer. Tis Adrienne. JJ introduces the friends. Adrienne notes she and Bev already met the night of the donuts at the book club. The friends make themselves scarce and Adrienne suggests mama Jen would not approve. However, she is here with a message for JJ about his sentencing hearing. It comes directly from his lawyer Justin. - EJ follows Abigail into an office and she asks why he is here. He declares he overheard her words to Adrienne. - At the apartment, Mr. Mom Sonny has put the baby down but Gabi the girl in the pink sweater is freaking out about Nick wanting to be friends. Rafe could sense her anxiety and she thinks Will could too. Sonny now confirms Will even went to set Nick straight. Gabi gets more scared. - Back at the pub, Nick opens his eyes as earnestly as possible, insisting he is serious about this new beginning. Kate wonders why he thinks Percy would be such a good assistant. Nick drawls he has helped him a great deal. Kate's eyes narrow. How?! By talking. In fact, she would be surprised how much Percy knows, says he! Kate flashes back to the now black-and-white night at the river when they dropped Nick's body and met Percy for the first time. It is too much to be a coincidence. Nick pouts and pensively sips his coffee. - Brady comes down the Kiriakis staircase in his black clothes, black coat, carrying one black bag. He informs the Greek the rest will come later. He is admittedly anxious to leave. Maggie tearfully hugs him at the door and he assures the weeping wife of his grandfather he will be fine. Then he leaves. The redhead collapses against Victor, who holds her tight. Brady whips out Dan's key and heads on his way. He knows where he will find a few days of the peace he needs. - Kate sarcastically states Percy has a vast knowledge of birds. What is the connection to cosmetics? Nick argues his expertise is chemistry. He knows only too well that things can be volatile like people and he seeks an assistant he has good personal chemistry with. Diva Kate quips there is no such person for him. He repeats Percy is the one and he trusts him. Kate purses her red lips. She needs time and will be in touch tomorrow. He reminds her to make the right decision. Kate storms out, glares back at the two pals hanging out at the bar, and clicks away for an emergency meeting. - Gabi is worried that Rafe and Will are going to make Nick see she is upset and it might make him mad. Sonny solemnly reminds her if Nick remembers, he will not be her friend anyway. Gabi goes out for some fresh air. - Theresa is relieved that Jen and Dan are not away together. The HR beech bitterly notes Jen is in a meeting to which she was naturally not invited. The boss lady gets a call and departs to deal with the candidates for cafeteria dishwasher. Once she is gone, Theresa takes off. - JJ assumes the sky has fallen. Adrienne explains Justin was called out of town on business. They can have the hearing postponed or another lawyer can represent him, as referred by Justin. JJ wants only Justin! Adrienne assures him a postponement would not be bad, provided he not slip up. He is trying but cannot control others! He wants this finished fast. Adrienne whispers whatever he decides, it will be alright, so long as he does nothing crazy. Now she goes. Rory and Bev emerge and Rory complains about the vanilla ice cream he is eating. JJ updates them on the news that Justin cannot attend his hearing as scheduled. Their plan had better work cos there is too much at stake! - Abigail thinks EJ was spying on her and haughtily says so. He grins he was happening by as his board meeting ended early. He settles in a chair and thanks her for the heartfelt defense. She flips her hair and claims she was defending herself. She loves Aunt Adrienne but the busybody aspect of her character drives her to distraction. EJ can relate. However, he sincerely hopes the aunt does not suspect that Abigail cares about him. - Brady gets into Dan's empty apartment and slams the door. He whistles and pulls the bottle of booze out of his bag. Time to drink up! That is, until someone knocks frantically on the door. He throws it open in rage, assuming Victor had him followed. There stands Theresa. She asks after Dan. He drawls the good doctor is out of town and maybe wanted to avoid her. She gets miffed. He announces there is something he wishes to say to her right here right now. - Gabi spots Nick walking through the town square and frantically sends a terrified text to EJ! EJ meanwhile chooses to ignore the text as Abigail shares her irate view that he has a colossal ego. Her conversation with Adrienne was not all about him! He notes but it was. However, there is no need for her to talk to her aunt about him or even spend more time with him. She wonders what he wants. To make sure the aunt does not tell mama Jen about her impassioned defense cos she is too vulnerable and might talk. Abigail insists she is not that vulnerable and if they are over, she can handle it. He laughingly notes her use of the word IF. Abigail storms out. - Victor is surprised when Nick appears at the mansion after Henderson opens the door, asking for Maggie. The Greek grumbles she is not here and snaps he will tell her he dropped by. When he learns that Nick is in fact back to stay, he likens him to the Titanic. Maggie now appears with a hug. Nick excitedly tells her of his plans for a fresh start here in Salem Victor sips his coffee and notes running away was not such a bad idea. Nick praises the family for their support, especially Julie. The Greek quips it figures. The redhead wonders what Nick's plans are. Victor observes. - Abigail appears at the apartment and hands Sonny a late christening gift in a pretty gift bag. She asks how fares Gabi. Not well and he wonders whether she has spoken with Nick. Indeed and he is acting strangely. Sonny encourages her to elaborate. She thinks cousin Nick is not saying something and asks if Sonny knows what really happened between Nick and Gabi before he left for New York. Sonny stares darkly. - At DiMera mansion, EJ asks Gabi wot the problem is. Kate waltzes in and announces the problem is Nick because he is aware of everything! - Rory updates JJ that as per his brother, Theresa is still not at the store where she has intended to cash the check. JJ panics it is over and she is onto him. Meanwhile, Brady invites Theresa in and thanks her for helping him. Maggie is no longer his sponsor and he quit the program. It was not his thang. She can relate but wonders what Dan said to that. He knows not. He just came by his place to escape judgment. Surely she can relate, he drawls as he lifts his drink. She nods she can indeed. - Sonny states he is not sure what went down between Gabi and Nick. Abigail sighs she has a feeling. And Gabi has not made sense lately. But if he and Will do not know anything ... Sonny explains he cannot speak for Will. Abigail notes but they tell each other everything. Sonny smoothly changes the subject by asking what is the deal between his beautiful cousin and her mystery man. - Gabi gasps Nick knows. EJ sternly tells Kate to enlighten him. WOT exactly did Nick say! Kate updates them on Mr. Greetings, the watcher in the woods. Gabi exclaims she knew it! She knew he knew! Kate adds she felt threatened. EJ asks if anyone made an actual direct threat with an accusation that Nick knew they tried to murder him. - Nick notes he might have an opportunity with Kate and he is staying back at his old apartment. It is all good. Maggie gushes good luck and heads out for a meeting. Victor grumbles people make their own luck and Nick's luck for everyone around him is always BAD. Nick smiles they will soon find out as eerie music plays and he goes on his mad mad merry way. - Brady suavely suggests Theresa stick around for a while. She quips they hate each other. Brady offers to tell her some juicy facts about Daniel. Now he has her attention! He pours her a drink and says cheers. Theresa blinks up at him with her pretty baby blues. - Rory thinks JJ needs a joint to relax and holds one before him. - Brady holds the glass of temptation before Theresa and promises to keep her secret. - JJ snaps a mere drug test after a joint could send him straight to the slammer. Rory persists. Come on just one hit! - Theresa accepts the drink and Brady tops it up, along with his own glass. Time to live a little! - Abigail gets flustered that Will mentioned her mystery man to Sonny. Sonny has noticed her red face and promises if she gives him a name it will be their secret. She insists there is no one, she is over him already! - EJ is exasperated. He gets the full story from Kate and calls her the mouse, Nick the cat. He pours himself a drink and Gabi gasps what does that make her? EJ ignores her and warns Kate she should have heeded his warning. Now it is no longer a case of Nick's word against hers. There is an actual witness! - Nick and Percy meet up at the town gate. Percy the busy birdwatcher admires a turkey vulture in the sky and chuckles he has seen strange birds lately. Nick peers up at the sky too and points out soon he might have less time for bird watching. Percy is quite looking forward to working together ... - Kate suggests perhaps Nick is in the dark and Percy joined forces with him to blackmail her. But EJ is convinced Nick knows exactly what he is doing. It is a dangerous game he is playing. For now they play along. Kate asks how long. Until Nick finally shows his hand or they tire of the game and decide how it ends. Kate smirks. Gabi looks ready to faint ... GAME ON! END Ahead on Days of Our Lives Sami is baaaaaack!
