Steph stands up and announces she does not buy it. Peeved Paulina protests too. Arnold claims he has proof ... Jada denies any such thing but Rafe claims he was sent a damning trail of her corruption and lies. Paulina cannot believe it ... Amorous EJ inches closer. Belle declares they are done and says she will go. But then he kisses her and she kisses him back ... Rafe reveals the detective unearthed a pattern of questionable practices. Jada demands to see the so-called dossier and here comes Shawn, who already has a copy. The guests turn and gawk ... Gabi wonders. Shawn stammers he claims he saw the case files from when Jada was acting commiss. The paper trail really proves she broke the rules. Jada dramatically denies it. Fake Rafe reasons she must have acted under pressure to prove herself. The beautiful bride denies that too and demands the files. Paulina, however, must follow protocol and take them herself ... - Belle gasps this is a bad idea cos her divorce is barely dry. EJ suavely suggests they head upstairs and off they go ... Jada wonders why Rafe is doing this to her. Arnold suggests they call the wedding off as long as she is being investigated. Paulina agrees. Jada cries the allegations are a lie. Fake Rafe pretends to be upset as well. Paulina asks Shawn to escort her to the station. Before the betrayed bride goes she gives Arnold an accusing look. He hangs his head in fake sorrow ... EJ and Belle are going at it like a couple of teenagers in his big DiMera bed ... Now at the pub with her parents, Steph is upset and wants to help her friend. She knows Jada is innocent and Kayla seconds the notion. Steve suggests they come up with a strategy and start by finding out what the evidence was. Steph wonders why her friend's fiance would betray her ... Gabi blasts brother Rafe for his actions and demands they head home to discuss. He assures her he is not the bad guy and wants to think alone. Gabi goes. Javi and Leo stare. Javi asks if he is alright. Fake Rafe overdoes his act and Javi reminds him he himself is no angel. He reminds him of his own immorality with that stripper the other night ... - At the station Jada denies everything to Mayor Paulina and wonders how the man who professed to love her could do this! Shawn argues Rafe did say he only accepted the case as he assumed there would be nothing. Jada has her doubts ... Rafe gets mad at Javi. Leo steps up to defend him. Rafe claims nothing matters now since he lost the love of his life and walks off. Javi is aghast and wonders whether he and Leo should tell Jada that the cad cheated. Leo suggests she is lucky to be rid of him ... Bride Jada is ready for processing. Paulina sighs unhappily ... Steve, Steph and Kayla discuss how Rafe has been making strange choices of late. Steve senses EJ was somehow involved in the cruel character assassination of Jada ... Still in bed, EJ gets a text from Arnold, lies to Belle tis about staffing at the mansion and smugly reads Jada was hauled to the station. He grins and she assumes it was good news.
