They both miss their brother who is in the slammer for trying to save mom ... At Horton house Julie is sleeping on a chair in her elegant robe. Here comes Chad, who apologizes for being gone a while. She assures him the kids were good as gold. He wonders how her meeting with Marlena went. Marlena suggested she mull over whether she wants another session. Chad wonders what she decided ... Xander kisses Sarah at the hospital and she updates him on her perilous poisonous day ... Buff Alex and Steph smooch on the sofa. Both are smitten. Both also feel sorry for Joy, who is about to get her heart broken ... Meanwhile Joy is alone and out cold on her bed with no help in sight ... Steph gets a text update from Steve. Alex is shocked to hear Kayla was poisoned as well. Thankfully she is fine. Steph tells him about the contact toxin sent with the fake scripts. He suddenly realizes Joy also got affected and calls her. No answer ... - Sarah is worried about the victims that might still be out there. The talk turns to Titan and the plan her great Scot and Phil have to destroy DiMera ... Kate comes to see Phil while he works out. He claims he was getting ready for bed. She needs to talk and complains about the soap opera chaos that could ruin her life ... Julie doubts therapy will help the fact that she is lost without her Doug. Chad gets it. He suggests she still keep meeting with Marlena at least to feel a bit better. Julie agrees but reminds him she lost the love her life - a piece of her soul. Chad gets it. She vows to adapt. Chad reminds her how important she is to the family. She says the same of him and brings up Cat ... - Cat assures Felicity that Mark is a good man and the talk turns to what she put Chad through. Sister senses she still cares for Chad ... Sarah does not want Xander going rogue again. He insists his and Phil's bold seizure of DiMera will only bend the rules. Sarah is stunned to hear it was actually Phil's idea ... Phil worries about Stephanie. Kate lets him know she quit the show so now they have no publicist. Kate is almost ready to give up cos there is no joy in the soap work anymore .... Joy's phone rings and rings and rings. Steph and Alex are on their way ... Cat babbles about Chad and admits to Felicity she still cares for him. Alas there is no hope ... Julie has decided to reserve judgment on Chad being ... friends with Cat. He stammers maybe someday ... Stylish Kate sighs she and Abe will work things out and asks her son about his work. He and the great Scot are getting along but brother still believes the letter from Victor was real. They are about to go after DiMera with a bold takeover bid ... - Sarah is horrified to hear that Philip wants to make a play for DiMera with Xander. The Great Scot states Steph was an issue but has since dropped him ... Alex and Steph find Joy unconscious on her bed with a feeble pulse. They race the ailing girl to the hospital ... Cat gets flustered about Chad. Felicity gives big sis advice ... Julie has decided to be polite to Cat as she will be working for Marlena. Chad looks relieved. They exchange I love yous and he goes on his way ... Sarah assures worried Alex that Joy is being taken care of and he is not to blame. He is impressed the medicine woman found the right antidote. Joy wakes up and gets spooked about being in the hospital ... At the nurse's station Xander seems surprised that Steph chose Alex over Philip. She flashes back to blasting Phil for his forged will, the fact that he stole half of the Kiriakis empire from Xander and used her! Then she denounced him. She now says she did not stop seeing Phil cos of Alex. Sarah emerges with the latest and Steph heads to Joy's room. Xander agrees to get himself and wife pub takeout and goes on his unsuspecting way. Worried Sarah makes a frantic call ... Kate has a bad feeling about Phil and Xander teaming up to take down DiMera. He wonders why. Cos Sarah knows his secret and he assured her he would keep Xander above board. He now sees Sara's text demanding they meet. By the time she arrives Kate is gone. Sarah reminds him they had an agreement. He reasons he is just working with Xander and their takeover will be above board. She doubts it and doubts him so perhaps she should tell hubby that Titan is really all his! - As Xander exits the snowy pub with takeout Kate comes up behind him. She heard about the plan to take down DiMera. He gets mad Phil spilled to mommy dearest. She brings up Kristen and does not sound like she minds the power play. Xander calls her current occupation frivolous. Kate assures him it has been anything but frivolous ... Joy takes Alex by the hand and thanks him for saving her and thanks God she did not lose him. Steph stares. Alex looks anxious ... Felicity and Cat are sharing a sundae. Cat jumps up for a sisterly hug. Chad comes by and says hi. He is pleased to meet famous felicity. Cat announces she got her new job with Marlena. He grins tis great. Felicity suggests big sis and Chad finish the sundae together ... Julie bravely heads upstairs to bed ... Alas Chad must head to the office. Cat breathes to have a nice night. He grins and goes ... Phil reasons if Sarah outs him to Xander no one will be able to control him. Sarah orders him to play by her rules or else and the prodigal son agrees ... Kate is shocked to hear from Xander that Joy was a victim of the poisoner. Fortunately Alex found her in time ... Out at the nurse's station Alex assures Steph he will tell Joy they are back together when tis the right time. He is crazy for her and hopes she feels the same way.
